The owner was very friendly and prepared a good breakfast. He also was kind enough to give us some tips on going up to Denali National Park. The house was beautiful and very quiet.

The Wi-Fi was fairly slow. The house has a shared bathroom amongst two of the rooms, therefore it didn’t feel like you had much privacy.

the view was awesome! we were in cabin 6. it was beautiful and you can see Denali mountain clearly. also there a female moose in the area. the owner was very nice and knowledgeable about the area and animals.

the mattress was hard as a wood. very uncomfortable. but that is the only thing.

Great location. Convenient to town. Fantastic views. Amazing hosts. Room was quiet and the continental breakfast was more than adequate.

Room was very comfortable and we, by happenstance, had the entire building to ourselves. Though Denali was now visible due to clouds, it was still a lovely view! Futon bed & queen bed in our room were both comfortable!

The bed was comfortable. The shower was good and had good water pressure. The views were exceptional. Plenty of pots and pans in the kitchen. The coffee at breakfast was great and the quick breakfast was enjoyable.

A light over the sink in the cabin would be be very helpful. Over-hang on the back deck would have been great to allow for sitting outside while it is raining. The blue clock light on the microwave was bright while trying sleep. A suitcase stand would be helpful.

Bill is a fantastic host!

The views were amazing! Bill was the one who did breakfast and he is such a kind man full of adventure stories. Grace's Blueberry Banana Bread was DELICIOUS! Beds were comfy and blackout shades were the best yet.

It is pricey but all of Alaska is.

We really liked the location with a great view of Denali and just a short drive into town. We only met Bill but he was a fantastic host. We could have shown up without a single thing planned in Talkeetna and Bill would have packed our stay with great recommendations.

The BnB is located at the top of a very steep gravel drive. While we had a truck which navigated the terrain without a problem, and we saw much smaller cars make it just fine, this may be a concern for some travelers. The shower was also a little small, and would be a tight fit for anyone on the larger side.

We had a great stay. Best views right from the deck.

The view of Denali would've been nice if it wasn't cloudy. Otherwise, we had a great time resting in our cozy room. The breakfast was simple and filling and Bill had lots of great stories. I wish we could've stayed longer to hear more. Maybe we'll venture up north in the winter.

The location to Talkeetna was nice. The view from the outside deck was pretty. The breakfast was okay. The main bed was fine. The host was friendly. Room and shared bathroom was clean and towels were of good quality.

I would suggest definitely putting in the advertisement that the drive to the lodging is a steep, mile long rocky graveled road. I was concerned that I would have damage to the undercarriage. Our rental car struggled, and I was really glad it wasn't wet. The value could be better. For a room I felt was already overpriced, they charged $20 extra for my son to sleep on a futon that is already located in the room. When it's made out, there is little room left. Our view was the parking lot and trees. It was pricey for a shared bath, futon room that had little air circulation. It could use a ceiling fan in the room. Compared to our 11 other previous Alaskan lodgings, this is more of a hostel stay in my experience than a B&B. The breakfast, though the bread was nice, didn't live up to an actual B&B classification. The house is not bad, but not enough of a shared living area so that you can actually visit outside of the bedrooms.

Really beautiful location! Cabin was cute, comfy and had everything we needed.

Breakfast was a few boxes of cereal set out, the hosts nowhere to be found. Part of the joy of staying at B&Bs is meeting the hosts and other guests over a hot breakfast. Other than that we had a great stay.

There was not central heating system. They used a kind of portable heating system. So there was a smell of petroleum. That smell gave me headaches and a difficulty in breathing.
