Location and lots to do on the lake.

The bar and restaurant were sub standard. Staff were not overly friendly. Wine selection very limited. Rooms were dated. Reception service was not great.

Brilliant stay, the host even upgraded my room FOC so I had a lake view. Really pleasant stay, good breakfast, good bar and lovely location.

The breakfast was rather poor. There were only few bakery, and not much else. Some buns, crescent rolls, or sweet bakery for children would be needed. The restaurant was a disappointment after all, as we had once a lunch and dinner there too, but it was not tasty.

Great location, right on the beach, tasty and very good breakfast. Rooms are very comfy and spacy.

Almost no other restaurants in surrounding and food and drink are overpriced, even in fancy hotel at the beach by the sea was cheaper beer and food and better than here. Pizza averadge and overpzed. Food is simple and tasty but for this money.... they havent any compettition around, maybe this is reason. i wish this hotel to improve your meal for this price or make better prices. maybe some good footruck on the beach make them some changes :D

The location is lovely.

We met five members of staff. Only two were friendly. Both my partner and I separately greeted two members of staff each morning and smiled at them. Each morning we were totally ignored, even though they spoke English. One of them refused to make eye contact, even though we walked past him in Reception numerous times. On arrival we were told to go to the bar and a staff member would help us check-in. We were greeted by a man slamming down a tray, using bad language and aggressively and loudly piling up saucers, we were shocked. A lovely young lady tried to welcome us. His attitude did not improve. We witnessed more bad behaviour the next day by the same member of staff, who showed no respect for those using the hotel’s outdoor bar area or hotel guests. We had never stayed anywhere before, where we were made feel like an inconvenience, with zero regard for customer service.

We loved our time at Penzion Zaka! Perfect location on a quieter part of lake Bled, rooms are quite spacious and the balcony looking over the lake was lovely. Staff were lovely,My husband and daughter both require a gluten free diet and they were very helpful. A special thanks to Katya

A classic choice of breakfast food

The location is just amazing, and I would come back just for that. My friends and I had a room that was facing the lake, so waking up in the morning felt like waking up at a 5 star resort. The room was very spacious, well heated and the shower was amazing too, very good water pressure.

The breakfast option was very limited in terms of variety, it was on the last day that they gave us these nice croissants that we didn't even know about. The wifi is pretty bad, and the hotel only had us and another couple as guests at the time of my booking, I can only imagine how bad it gets when it is at full capacity. They did not have one of those cards you put out to ask housekeeping to change your sheets or clean your room, which I did not like.

What a lovely place!!! The room was large and accommodated us well. The host was very friendly and happy to help with any request. Close to town, the castle and the island. Fantastic breakfast. Thank you

Penzion Zaka is in a great location right on the lake and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. There is a carpark outside the hotel for the guest, but with limited free spots. The breakfast was nice and was plentiful, however the hotel itself is old and dated and could do with a bit of money being spent to update it a bit.

Beautiful location right on the lake and good sized rooms with comfortable beds. The staff were very helpful with multiple requests, like calling a taxi for us.

There were a few spiders in our room, and we thought that the room could have been cleaned a little more thoroughly as we found someone else’s hair. All small problems that we were able to deal with easily ourselves.
