Email from Vacasa said "Parking notes: Parking is available in the building and requires a pass on the rearview mirror, which can be found inside the rental. A code for the garage will be provided." I received the code for the garage and went to park in the building, but there was no indoor parking pass in the unit, only an outside parking pass. I contacted Vacasa customer service, and the rep confirmed I could park in the building and she would contact someone local to get me the "in building" parking pass. After 2 hours.of texting back and forth with multiple Vacasa customer service reps, they said there is no indoor parking and I can.only park outside - even though there were empty spaces in the building! I only stayed two of my three nights booked so I wouldn't have to dig out of 10" of snow my last day. Terrible customer service by Vacasa - I was never put in touch with a local contact at the resort ('resort' is a.bit misleading as there is no staff or customer service on-site) and they never resolved having misrepresented the unit as having "in building" parking.

The location was good. It’s on a ski-in/ski-out corridor. Once that opens, which is usually in December, this is a great location. Until then, it’s a 10 minute walk or bus to the ski resort, but walking is usually faster. I was there for a month and stop taking the bus after I realized I was waiting longer for the bus than the walk took.
The facility is outdated and in desperate need of updating. There were also several problems with the room and facility that caused a great deal of inconvenience.
When I got there, the elevators were out and I had to carry all of my equipment and luggage up a 5 floor walk up. I was on floor 3, but the building has Parking and Lobby levels below 1-2-3. When I tried to find out about when the elevator would be back in service, I found that there is no on-site service staff due to the rooms being owned by individual owners and the resort being managed by a different company that doesn’t staff it. I reached out to Vacasa to ask about when the elevator would be back in service and was told that they never said there was an elevator so I shouldn’t expect one, even on a 5th floor walk up… even though I had stayed here before and knew it had elevators.
Over the next weeks, water was shut off to my unit several times without communication, which prevented my use of water, but also the amenities to be shutdown. The laundry room had a sign saying water would be back on by 4 and wasn’t back on until after 5. Since the laundry room doesn’t have a sink or water fountain and there was no way to verify water service before paying to wash, I lost money and time because of this miscommunication.
The biggest issue was that my fireplace went out. There is not heat in the rooms except the gas fireplace. In the 3rd week into my stay, the pilot went out. I tried relighting it without success and communicated the problem to Vacasa. Through miscommunication on their end (I was told that someone put in the “urgent help ticket” incorrectly) it took them 4 days to get some one to come out and check the fireplace. Although very nice, the tech they sent verified what I had done to try to fix the issue but was unable to get the pilot relit and didn’t have any of the parts I said he would need for the fix.

We received a code. It was easy to access. The only thing that was unclear was that you could access the game rooms or pools. Overall pleasant experience.
The bathtub lever to the shower was hard to navigate. The patio furniture did not contain cushions and was rusted. Finally, the microwave was outdated.

Location
It was a Resort but there was NO Staff, NO people anywhere. Just a keypad on the doors and instructions in an email. And Construction work outside. It’s a winter ski condo.
The bed was a mattress on the floor and extremely old and uncomfortable. The condo unit was very dated, maybe since the 80’s.

Very seamless process to access the facility and the apartment. The apartment is ideally located with direct access to the slops. The apartment is nicely decorated and well set-up.
The futon bed is beyond uncomfortable, meaning it is broken! it is impossible to sleep in it. The fireplace has a build-in fan that is extremely noisy and cannot be used at night.

Location and underground parking are the best equity of this property. 10 minute walk to the base village made it easy to get around. Iron Horse staffs were pleasant and helpful I helping us locate the unit upon arrival.
The unit was filled with unpleasant smell of strong spices that was impossible to get rid of. Pillows were filthy with missing pillow cases. Blankets smelled like the spices too, indicating that it hasn’t been laundered. Toilet overflowed that took all bath towels to wipe; couldn’t take shower later that night until the property manager dropped off towels along with pillow cases.
