We vacationed there with our three daughters and their significant others and we all had the most amazing time at the villa! The property is stunning, the Villa is spectacular and spacious. We were all together and yet we each had our own space. The villa is a 5 minute bike ride to Lazise. Lorenzo was always there to help us. He organized electric bikes, taxis and restaurant recommendations. I highly recommend this property and Lorenzo! We can't wait to come back again! Thank you for a memorable vacation.

Our family of 8 plus three small children gathered at Villa Costasanti for the Christmas holidays. The villa is in lovely setting with a large garden for the children to run and play. Very comfortable bedrooms for everybody all ensuite. Large, well equipped kitchen (probably could use a 2nd dishwasher) for cooking and entertaining. Lazise, is a lovely town on the lake and a 20 min walk from the villa. Great views of the countryside and the lake and you can also rent bikes and ride to other towns via the lake. It was great in winter so it must be fabulous in Summer. For the children there is Gardaland (a theme park) a zoo, an aquarium very close by and a pool on the property. Lorenzo was so accommodating, pleasant and friendly and nothing was too much trouble to make sure we were comfortable. Thank you Lorenzo.

Das Anwesend ist sensationell. Lorenzo der Gastgeber kümmert sich diskret und unauffällig um einfach ALLLES. In ca. 20 Min. ist man zu Fuß in Lazise im Trubel auf dem riesigen Anwesend herrscht Ruhe und der besten Erholung steht nichts im Wege... Wir waren drei Familien es war ein unglaublich toller Urlaub für uns alle. Die Teenager sind auch gerne mit dem Fahrrad losgezogen und haben das Getümmel für sich entdeckt. Danke Lorenzo!!! Thilo

We have had a great stay at this beautiful villa. The days we have spent there were memorable to us and we are planning to come back next year. The house is well equiped and we enjoyed a daily "sundowner" at the pool with an awesome view over lake garda. Lorenzo was a great host and everything was just perfect. Thank you very much!

We were absolutely delighted with the property up on the hills overlooking Lazise and Lake Garda. The grounds were lovely with olive trees, fruit trees and vineyards and flower and vegetable gardens. The pool was clean and beautiful with shade as needed. The house was very spacious, clean and comfortable with a great style. And most importantly, Lorenzo was very thoughtful, kind and accommodating with easy communication whenever we needed him. He was much more than a standard property owner and acted as a concierge to recommend and help us schedule activities that we may not have discovered otherwise. We had a multi-gen family group and the property was a great escape at the end of busy days sight-seeing. There is much to do in this area but having a peaceful retreat where kids could just play at the end of the day was priceless. I can not recommend this property enough. The only downsides would be that you pay for your AC use (and this summer we needed it!), that it is a bit of a walk into town if you do not have a car/taxi and that the pullout sofas are not ideal for adults (fine for kids though!). There are 4-5 bedrooms depending on how you count them with four permanent and comfortable beds and three pullout sofas. That being said, we would absolutely not hesitate to stay at either of Lorenzo's property rentals again. A perfect getaway! I would recommend this property to families or groups of 4-5 couples. A million thank yous Lorenzo!!

We had the most wonderful week at Villa Costa Santi. Lorenzo was extremely helpful and attentive, sorting out our airport transfers, restaurant bookings and generally being immediately on hand to answer questions or give recommendations. The accommodation was spacious, very clean, and each suite has its own bathroom and living space. Our guests were all able to enjoy their time in privacy and all together in the beautiful reception spaces. The pool is magnificent with a superb panoramic view to the lake. I would 100% recommend this property to anyone who wishes to enjoy the lovely Garda lakeside at Lazise and Bardolino. Thank you Lorenzo for a magical stay! Jules

We had the most amazing stay at Villa Costasanti. The villa itself is absolutely wonderful: it is spacious, beautifully decorated, highly maintained and spotlessly clean. It has everything you could ask for: a wonderful kitchen, plenty of space for everyone, and top-quality facilities and appliances. It was so lovely to have such a wonderful place to return to at the end of each day.Lorenzo also deserves a special mention: during our stay, he made sure we had the best time. He arranged taxis for us, provided us with a private chef for a celebratory meal one night, and responded to every request we had really quickly. One night, for example, we wanted to have a BBQ at the villa but there wasnt much gas for the BBQ: 15 minutes after calling him, he brought 2 new canisters for us. No task was too big or small.The villa itself is about a 25-minute walk from Lake Garda: there are no real footpaths for the first 10 minutes, so at first it was a bit treacherous. However, the drivers are very careful and always slow down - it was really only a problem when we were walking with a pushchair and baby, so this is worth bearing in mind. However, you could always call a taxi to come and pick you up and take you wherever you need to go. Lazise is a really lovely little town with some nice cafes and restaurants and the setting of the villa, nestled into a hill overlooking the lake, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, is just out of this world.Our only criticism is that the pool was not heated (which Lorenzo said would be so expensive so it wouldnt be worth it) - this was a little disappointing for those of us who were hoping to swim on our holiday. The only other consideration is the access from the villa down to the lake: if you are travelling with young children and/or older people, be prepared to take taxis instead of walking.Overall, I would recommend Villa Costasanti in a heartbeat - Lake Garda is just wonderful and Lorenzo will make sure you have a fantastic time. I would love to come back and would just like to say thank you to Lorenzo for making our holiday so special!! 5 stars are not enough :-)

It's hard to put into words what a wonderful experience my family and I shared at Villa Costasanti. We are a 3-generation family who love to travel together. We couldn't have chosen a more perfect place to spend a week of swimming, touring, cooking and hanging out together. The excellent location of the Villa affords many opportunities for day trips - Venice, Parma, Modena - to name a few. The neighboring towns (Lazise, Bardolino, and so many more) are delightful to visit - each offering fabulous views of Lake Garda as well as picture-perfect castles and ramparts. But most special is the villa itself. Its roomy, well-appointed spaces provide a very high level of comfort. The eat-in kitchen provides a place to gather for 3 generations of cooks. The enormous garden provides every kind of tomato known to man plus many other vegetables and herbs that make every dinner even more special. The gorgeous pool is the perfect place to refresh and play. The huge table on the veranda makes every meal memorable, with its views of the countryside and Lake Garda. And for those who enjoy cooking - or just stocking the villa with basics, there's a nearby supermarket (the Grand Affi) as well as a smaller but more than adequate grocery store in Lazise. Finally, Lorenzo is the perfect host - so helpful when we needed him, so generous with his property. I could go on and on. If you are looking for a vacation that will live on and on in your memories - Villa Costasanti is the place for you.

We stayed at the property for one week last year (2014) and loved it so much that we came back for two weeks the next year. The villa itself is stunning -- perfectly decorated, great location, comfortable, quiet, and with amazing private grounds with olive groves and orchards. And Lorenzo, the owner and host, makes it even more perfect. He has flawless recommendations, arranges trips, private chefs, and goes far out of his way to make everyone at home. I had booked the villa for 2 weeks from mid-July to celebrate my father's birthday. We were a large party of 9 adults and 4 children between 4 and 10 years of age. The villa was everything we dreamed of and more! Just absolutely beautifully decorated, yet very functional even with small children. The location is fantastic, walking distance to the lake, as well as in close proximity to sights, activities such as Gardaland, and shopping. Every day we saw or experienced something around the region, yet had enough time to enjoy the splendid pool and the vast grounds of the villa. The property is extremely secure, and lies peacefully tucked away from touristic hot spots. The view is marvellous and you see much more of the lake than the pictures in the internet would suggest. The added bonus was our chef Luisa, who prepared lovely dinners for us from local ingredients. Even the villa itself has a large vegetable and fruit garden to admire and sample from. Lorenzo made us feel extremely welcome, and we can't thank him enough for everything! He is a very attentive host, who extends his help even beyond the villa. The Garda area is very versatile, with enough to see and do for every type of tourist. We would definitely love to visit again!

A superb property, possibly unique in having 4 huge bedrooms, each with en suite facilities. All of the bedrooms are excellent, so no-one will feel like they have got the 'short straw' with a smaller room or lack of facilities. Throughout, the villa is tastefully appointed with works of art, furnishings and features which both delight and surprise. Just about everything has been thought of. For example there were 3 different ways of making coffee: a Nespresso type machine, filter coffee or standard instant. The gardens and pool area are delightful and the vista to the lake is superb. To top all this Lorenzo is a wonderful host who is open, easy to talk to and very helpful about anything. I strongly recommend the wine tasting 'extra' - which was most enjoyable, and even the expert oenophile in our party learned a lot! The other thing I would say is that Lorenzo is very keen on feedback. When we gave ours we had 2 main points: 1. the need for a sofa and 2. more sharp knives for the kitchen. Well 2 weeks later - there is a new stylish sofa and additional kinives for the kitchen! Action! Thanks Lorenzo for a memorable holiday.

First, the photos and description are more than fair and accurate. We arrived expecting to be a little disappointed and were pleasantly surprised! The villa is beautifully done and very modern and comfortable. Kitchen was amazing, and the two sitting rooms provided ample space for our large group of 4 families. Three of the 4 rooms are really suites so I would consider the place to have 7 bedrooms. The grounds are lovely, too. All the children loved exploring the land! Nothing like walking out in the morning with an espresso to enjoy a view of Lake Garda while your children play outside in the fresh air. As for location, you are a long walk or short drive to charming Lazise, a small, picturesque medieval town on Lake Garda. There you will find plenty of casual restaurants, gellaterias, cafes, a bit of shopping, a great play area for children and nice places to walk around. In short, you don't need much more if you're not ambitious and just want to enjoy being in Italy. You can also drive to Sermione or Verona in well under an hour, and even as far as Venice in 90 minutes. Just a perfect location. Note that despite the fact that the property is stylish and impeccable, it was also fine with small children. Finally, I cannot say enough good things about the owner, Lorenzo. He was so helpful and friendly, was always available if needed and I know he could have answered any question or helped in any situation that could have come up. Cannot wait to return next year!

the property was much more beautiful than we expected. wonderful rooms, great kitchen, a finished basement and very nice grounds. there are cyprus and olive groves to wander. perfect for families too. and very nice pool. we are definitely coming back. and the owner, lorenzo, is extremely nice and very helpful. thanks again!

Genauso wie es die Bilder und Beschreibung im Internet versprechen, hat sich die Villa und ihre Umgebung auch dargestellt. Die Villa ist eingebettet in den wunderschönen, gepflegten, riesigen Park und versteckt sich hinter der großzügigen Einfahrt, welche gesäumt von einer Baumallee ist. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und geräumig und das gesamte Anwesen ist in einem Top-Zustand und blitzsauber. Das allerschönste ist der atemberaubende, unverbaute Blick von der Terrasse über den Gardasee. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Urlaubswoche und haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Eigentümer Lorenzo als auch der Gärtner Mario sind sehr gastreundlich und erfüllen den Gästen jeden Wunsch um den Aufenthalt so angenehm und traumhaft wie nur möglich zu gestalten. Fazit: es hätte nicht schöner sein können!!

We are so happy to have discovered Villa Costasanti and to enjoy one week of la "Dolce Vita" in Italy. The house is perfect, immaculate, has every amenity a person could want, including an incredible view for which there are no words to describe. We enjoyed exploring Lazise, Verona, Venice and Sirmione. This reagion of Italy, with the exception of Venice is not one that many Americans seem to visit. I think it is a very unique gem of an area. This wonderful villa met all our expectations and more. It is an impressive and expansive villa situated in a beautiful property consisting of grape vines and olive trees. It can easily accommodate 2-3 families or an extended family. We were lucky enough to have the property to ourselves (2 adults and 3 children aged, 7, 5 and 2). The children immediately made themselves at home, exploring the house, grounds and making use of the beautiful swimming pool. The villa and very tastefully decorated, yet comfortable and homely. It has a wonderful kitchen and roomy dining areas. It is extremely well maintained and the owner Lorenzo, we a wonderful host, meeting all our requests including organising (picking up from a nearby town and delivering!) the baking of a beautiful millefeullie birthday cake for my daughter's 7th birthday. It is a 5 minute drive to Lazise on Lake Garda. The location was wonderful to not only explore Lake Garda and the numerous restaurants (recommendations provided by Lorenzo) and towns lining its shores (as well as Garda Land and Sealife), but also provided a good base to make day trips to Verona, Milan, Venice, Modena, Maranello (of course), Mantova, Vicenza, Piacenza, Bergamo and surrounds. We would have no hesitation in recommending Villa Costasanti to anyone looking for luxury villa accommodation. And we travelled from Perth, Australia!

The decor and the comfort of the Villa were fantastic, and the grounds of the estate are unforgettable. We especially enjoyed Mario bringing us treats from the grounds. The meals with chef Francesca and conversations with Lorenzo especially memorable. We hiked, went on a private boat ride around the lake, took the funicular up Mt Baldo and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Costasanti Villa. What a wonderful time we had...we look forward to our next visit to Lazise! Thank you from Texas!
