Sehr netter und freundlicher Empfang. Frühstück mit viel Auswahl. Gekochte Eier, Rühreier mit Bacon. Servicepersonal sehr zuvorkommend. Abschliessbare Garage zum Abstellen von Fahrrädern vorhanden. Weser-Wasserstrassenkreuz fussläufig erreichbar. Bushaltestelle in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Erreichen der Innenstadt.

The breakfast was great; the staff were exceptionally amazing. We had to ask the staff the first night many questions in English including calling a German family member and they did it without any issues!

Everything. We stayed only one night on our way from paris to denmark. We got a whole suite although we had paid for a smaller room, for the same price. Elegant hotel with good quality materials and very nice breakfast. And they dont charge extra for pets.

I wish we could stay more days

We arrived after a bicycle ride of 85 km and were welcomed with a warm apple juice at the reception. They recommended us a wonderful restaurant for dinner which was a just a 5 minute walk. Perfect breakfast.

Arrived on our motorcycle for a 1-night stay whilst touring Europe. The hotel had plenty of free parking at the side of it and over the road in their other building as well. We were greeted warmly at reception and offered a light refreshing drink. We was told our room was in their other building directly opposite the hotel and had parking and free wi fi. We had a lovely bright clean and spacious double room overlooking the main road and the hotel opposite. The bathroom was large, clean and had a lovely shower. The room also had a small hallway space between the bathroom and bedroom making it feel very spacious. There was no tea and coffee making facilities. The restaurant had a buffet style meal that night as they had a coach party of people in the hotel. This wasn't an issue as it enabled us to try different dishes and eat as much or as little as we wanted. The service and greeting we received as soon as we entered the restaurant was first class, lovely warm and friendly the staff were superb and couldn't do enough for us. Had a warm family feeling. Although not many of the staff could speak much English this didn't pose a problem. We had a beautiful meal in lovely settings and thoroughly enjoyed trying the different foods. The staff tried to make sure everything was replenished, as we arrived shortly after the coach party was just finishing eating their main meal. We left a big tip as we were completely delighted with the food and service. We enjoyed a lovely comfortable stay in a very comfy bed. Breakfast was also a buffet style with lots of choice, plenty of coffee and a warm atmosphere although the staff didn't speak English this wasn't a problem. We had an issue with a flat tyre on leaving but the property allowed us to stay over the allotted leaving time in order for us to get it fixed. The manager also helped with ringing around the local garages.

Nothing this is an excellent hotel, and we definitely aim to return

The staff were amazingly friendly! They were super-patient with our aging (honestly Very Annoying) dog. The room was bigger than expected for the price. The patio on the 2nd floor was great for smokers. Good prices for the minibar!

Unfortunately it's a bit far from the city centre. But for that price, we didn't mind driving. Be prepared to drive/bike if you want to visit the old town. The minibar also wasn't filled up at all during our stay, but there is a supermarket right across the street if you need more drinks.

Apart from being conveniently located hotel in Minden and offering free parking, we did not experience anything worth returning.

We had a room in the building on the other side of the street (which I have to admit, was indicated in the reservation), which made it rather impossible to use the sauna. The rooms need renovation, could be much cleaner, and the mattress was way too soft. The breakfast selection is large, but the atmosphere is not very welcoming and the personal rather careless.

Took 30 mins to pay the bill. The owner is living in the dark aged. Adequate but would avoid if possible.
