The Muse is decorated so beautifully and a double bonus is all the art with throughout the building as it is also an art gallery. The whole place was very clean and well supplied with everything we needed. The wine and cheese hour the night of our arrival was a nice treat and breakfast in the morning was very tasty! The hostess was very responsive to any questions prior to our arriving and was very accommodating once we arrived.

The Muse B&B is located close to restaurants, coffee shops, walking trails by Lake Michigan and close to everything Milwaukee has to offer! The hosts are compassionate and helpful and we arrived as guests but left as friends. The guesthouse is very clean, comfortable and filled with art. If we get the pleasure of returning to the area, we would definitely stay for repeat visits. Thank you again!

The room were very clean and well decorated. The host greeted us with snacks and drinks. She also
suggested some walking distance restaurants. We were very pleased with the facility.
Our only complaint was not with the facility or host...but a group of motorcyclist decided to race up and down the streets at 10pm. Finally the police came around to run them off at 11pm.

Mary Ellen and Andrew were just wonderful hosts. Kind, insightful, generous, and safe. I appreciated how homey they made my partner and I feel. Definitely an LGBT friendly host! We really liked the location. It's close to the water, places to eat, and the bus line. The porch was super cozy when it rained. The private room and bath was a perfect size. Oh, and the breakfast! We LOVED the breakfast. It was different everyday. Whenever we make another trip back to Milwaukee, we're definitely staying here.

Both Mary Ellen and Andrew were very warm and welcoming. Even though they were both very busy, they took time to share stories between us. The entire house was sparkling clean, bright and colourful - such amazing attention to details! Not only is is a guesthouse, but also an art gallery that supports local artists. We were also served the most delicious breakfast and good coffee! After I made the booking Mary Ellen contacted me to see if we had any special food requirements. We look forward to our next stay and recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and comfortable experience.
The pillows used for sleeping were not very comfortable - but this is quite common from place to place.

It’s like staying in a fun and cozy art gallery. The hosts are terrific, lovely, warm people. It’s in a wonderful quiet neighborhood easily accessible to everything. Delicious food. Very comfortable and well equipped.
The hosts are taking all the proper COVID precautions to make sure our stay is safe.
Can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend.
