I liked literally everything about Heima Holiday Homes, from the location to the setting to the home itself. There was absolutely nothing not to like.

Heima Holiday Homes are beautiful, clean, spacious. They are in a more remote section of Selfoss with a gravel driveway but this also makes for private and quiet place to sleep at night. We had a toyota yaris car and it handled the driveway just fine. There are many waterfalls within 30mins to 1 hour of this rental. The hosts are very helpful if you need them but otherwise will give you privacy. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.

We had a little difficulty finding the property. Ignore the map when you first turn into the gravel road that leads to Heima. The map is for another property. Just keep driving straight and look for the 8 cottages with main house up ahead.

Beautiful cabin, wonderful location. The hosts made sure everything was perfect for our family (baby bed, high chair,...). Cute dogs to play with!

Locationwise it is a good location from logistics point of view, though surrounding area is more a weekend house area.

We absolutely loved these homes. Away from the main road so quiet and spacious. Really cosy and clean and the bed was super comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone travelling the ring road.

Great cabin. The house is super spacious, super well equiped in the bathroom and kitchen, super comfy, with heated floor, warm. The surroundings are amazing. The best stay i had in Iceland.

What a wonderful stay! It's a simple but comfortable and roomy studio, surrounded by nature, with good beds and excellent shower. We ate in, the small kitchen is very handy. Easiest check in and check out ever: just arrive and leave. It's a great gateway to the Ring Road drive, especially after doing the Golden Circle on the first day.

Wished they had Heima Homes all around the country.

Very clean, new and modern house

nice, clean, quiet & comfort. Two lovely dogs are so nice and smart - I love them!

only a small step from good to great...lack of robs & hangers for clothes, toilet paper rack, shelf for bath gel & shampoo in the shower....just small things could be fixed easily.

The experience was very unique. For a few days we got to live in a cabin (with all conveniences of a modern world like a dishwasher, coffea maker, Wi-Fi and even Netflix) located in the middle of icelandic wilderness. It was a perfect combination. Breathtaking views, crystal clean air, quietness and privacy. The cabin location offers a perfect, unobstructed view in every direction. We were lucky enough to experience Northern Lights 3 nights in the row. A perfect base for a golden circle touring. Just make sure every day to leave the cabin a little earlier than planned - you just have to have time to play with the dogs :)

Great place with amazing view, we could even see the northern lights. Very good bed and shower. Nice hosts and lovely dogs. Great wifi, perfect for homeoffice.

It would be nice if the outdoor entrance light could be switched off.

Spacious, modern, warm and comfortable lodges with great showers and incredible views. Ideal for a stop off on route 1. Ideally located for the golden circle. Friendly and helpful hosts and two of the most charming and playful dogs you will ever meet!

Perhaps a clothes drying rack would be a nice addition for returning from an Icelandic rainy day.

Modern, spacious, and comfortable cabin with a well equipped kitchen. A short drive along road 30 from the Ring Road, close to Selfoss and Fludir. An excellent place to stay if you are exploring the south of Iceland. Liked everything, the cabin, the peaceful surroundings. And the dog!

Fantastic bed (I had the best sleep here), warm room, and very quiet. Quad glazed windows. Self check in was easy and simple. Thanks for a fantastic stay.

The shower curtain and the tiny small basin in the bathroom were annoying but didn't take away from the experience. Would have liked a washer/dryer combo. Better house and road signage would help checking in late in the dark.

Immaculately kept, kitchen well stocked to cook meals, peaceful location. Fabulous hosts, fabulous stay!
