My husband and I rented Joe's house for a long weekend for our anniversary. We were looking for something different and had never been to VT before so figured we'd give it a try. We're SO glad we did! Joe's communication was A+ and his house is great. The pictures are very accurate which isn't always the case with rentals. One of the most important things I want to say is that I've never stayed at a place that is so well supplied and well equipped! From toilet paper to towels/facecloths to shampoo's etc...you name it and it was there and plenty of it. The bed we slept in was SO comfy, too! The property is great if you're traveling with anyone that has trouble with stairs as there is a bedroom and full bath on the main floor. The upstairs bathroom could use a little updating, but it was very clean and functional and that's what is most important to us so not a big deal whatsoever. The location of the house is great. You drive up some winding roads (some dirt) up the mountain to a wooded lot which seemed very secluded with all the trees even though there are neighbors. The large deck with the gas grill was perfect for making meals and a short drive into town are some great places to eat and shop. The three places we ate at were Dots, The Last Chair, and the Bullwheel at the summit of Mount Snow. I would highly recommend all three. The only complaint we had was that we wished we had more time! We will definitely be back!

a real bummer. could not travel as my wife had an arm atm and leg injury and we lost all our rental money which didnt help her pain. a return of some money or some arrangenent would have been a nice gesture.. reached out to owner butno reply. from him. some money or 2-3 days if he had weekday vacancy would be a nice gesture. we rented our Wilmington home to others and was always considerate of our renters wants and needs. it was never about the money. people sure are different.’ if you could help in anyway we would be most grateful. thank you. jim

Simple but nice home. Clean

Stayed a little over 2 weeks at the end of March. Snowboarding everyday, it’s about 18 minutes from mount snow. Had some friend’s come and stay , wife and kids visited too. Very comfortable place with everything you could need. Giant deck to hang out on with amazing afternoon sunshine. Zero complaints!!

Very cozy and warm with wood stove...had us feeling relaxed instantly. Kitchen was stocked up with everything we needed for cooking. Would love to stay here again.

Really enjoyed the stay again. everything you need - nothing you don't. Well appointed comfortable bedrooms, awesome fireplace, great location within 10 mins of Mt. Snow. Joe is awesome. Be back Xmas time!

My two brothers, my father, and I booked this cabin for a day 10 day trip in November. We have zero complaints. The house was fully furnished with all of needs, including plenty of fire wood to keep the house feeling cozy! The location was the perfection blend of privacy and accessibility. The house fit the four of us quite comfortably. We had zero issues at all and things could not have gone smoother. Thanks again Joe, for your wonderful hospitality!

The house served our purposes just fine. Ample space, nice deck, usable kitchen. Ideal for us (two older couples). But the interior is old and in need of some renovations. Kitchen cabinets are a kilter, downstairs bathroom door needs to be rehung,

For the price, this is a great place to bring a group. My pal flaked out so this was a bit large for one guy, but I loved having a fire and a porch in the moonlight with just wind chimes, wild clouds and some distant neighbors out in the woods. This is a janky place in the best way. Don't expect modern delights! Go back to the 70s and enjoy. Host Joe was on point when I needed him. 8 to 10 minutes above Wilmington by the way. Good times!

This was a nice house. It was clean and offered amenities you may have forgotten to pack and needed. We weren't home jmuch though...out hiking.

This trip was great! We stayed in this house for a week and it was exactly as shown. The house was so nice, clean, and stocked. We literally had to bring food (minus condiments and seasonings because this place had it all) and our clothes! Joe provided everything down to toiletries! The beds are amazingly comfortable. The living room had plenty of seating for all 5 of us to sit and enjoy each other, tv, games, etc. The owner Joe is super nice and quick to respond! We all enjoyed our vacation here and the place is so peaceful and quiet! Loved sitting on the dreck relaxing! Definitely keeping this property under my favorites! Thank you Joe for trusting us with your home for the week!

Overall this property suited our needs well. It was clean & reasonably well stocked. Instructions for turning on the heat (temp was in lower 50's at night during our stay) could have been sent prior or a note left - a minor issue as the owner was quick to respond to request.

Great get away house in the mountains! Super comfortable beds, kitchen was well stocked, tons of towels and linens, welcoming neighbors and a quite secluded location. Exactly what we needed to relax and enjoy a weekend away! Would absolutely stay again!

We were pleased with our stay. Joe was attentive, flexible and responsive. We liked the house. It met our needs. It was close to a lake and playground. Hiking in walking distance. The town has A respectable grocery store and overall, we had a positive experience and found the residents of Vermont friendly and welcoming. We loved being nestled in the woods. We would stay again.

Nice relaxing place to stay. All 3 bedrooms had nice queen beds. The place was very dated but that did not matter to us. Would stay there again and would highly recommend it.

The home was very clean and spacious. Bedrooms and family room were great. Kitchen and bathrooms were a bit dated but functional. The property manager was very helpful and made the overal experience very easy. The location was very good in relation to Mt Snow for the money. Less than 20 minute ride. The only issue we had was there were no Ubers or taxi service in the area so made it hard to go out at night if you wanted a few beers. Overall we had a great time and would go back.

We had an amazing ski weekend at this cozy house. Everything was immaculate and had everything we needed. It was 15 minutes from Mt. Snow and the owner was very helpful when we had any questions. We’ll definitely be going back!

The house is the perfect size for 6 adults. It is very spacious and cozy. It's about 10 minutes away from Mount Snow and just a few minutes away from local restaurants. After a long day of hitting the slopes, it was nice to come back to the house and have all the necessities needed to cook and grill. We even enjoyed family game night in this cozy setting. The owner was extremely nice and welcoming and if we needed anything he was just a phone call away. Detailed notes were left throughout the house which was extremely helpful. A perfect setting for a fun-filled weekend.

We had four guys stay at this house for a weekend ski trip. The house was no more than 10 minutes into town and just a little bit more to Mount Snow. The house felt very cozy but still spacious enough for all of us and our equipment. There is heating throughout the entire house, we never had to worry about the place getting too cold. The house has everything you need if you prefer to cook during your stay and the dining room table was the perfect size for us to play board games on after a long day at the slopes. The owner quickly responded whenever we needed. We strongly recommend this house for your stay at Mount Snow!

The living room was very cozy as it has a nice fire place in it. It was very spacious for 6 adults. Convenient drive to mount snow. The house was very clean and had all the necessities needed to make meals there. I would definitely recommend staying there and will stay here again in the future!

I stayed at this cozy home a couple weekends ago and had the best time.  The house is the perfect size for families or a group of friends; we fit 6 guys comfortably.  The house was very clean and the decor made us feel right at home.  The owner was extremely nice and answered emails right away. Wifi connection was fast and never lagged even though we had 6 people using it.  Overall the house was perfect for our snowboard trip and I would highly recommend anyone to stay here.  Perfect for any age group!

We really enjoyed our stay at this comfortable and well-equipped house! It was a short drive to Mt. Snow and a great home-base for our ski getaway.

We stayed over new year's eve with record cold temps. The house was very warm and nice to come back to after skiing - we enjoyed it very much!
