Good simple basics, balcony, ok breakfast/half board, excellent choice of tea and bread Very quiet Sometimes nice food-surprises, e.g. gala dinner, kaffee & kuchen afternoon, bbq-evening Nice sauna-, although only half of the services were working Very nice and competent staff (owners bit cold though, and "new" girl not competent at all) Perfect location as a basis for a hiking holiday, lifts and public transport included in price, thanks to lifts many many gorgeous (and feasible without being a top-athlete) walking options. Except the "sauna-welt" the hotel is not worth 4 stars. It's 3 stars. Food hygiene could be better, found 3 times molded/rotten fruit/milk at the breakfast buffet. Except some "fake (powder based) eggs", not hot food at breakfast. Half board: kitchen kept forgetting dietary requirements, often no vegetarian alternatives. Sauna-area not super clean Very small bathroom, no place to put toiletries - room very simple, e.g. no fridge or kettle
