It’s very close to the beach, it has quite a few attractions, including a gondola that gives quite a view on this amaizing city. The breafast service is very good as is the restaurant.

The room was clean. They allow pets (we had a small dog with us). The elevator worked well. The air conditiong was fully working. Lots of toiletries and also bathrobes. The view from the breakfast restaurant was fantastic. Staff was really nice, both in the breakfast area and reception/cleaning.

The breakfast set-up. They crowded all the cheese and ham in one small area, and you had to wait for it. The coffee machines broke down everyday.

Breakfast buffet was over salted. Rubber fried eggs. Sea view balcony ok if you want to exhibit yourself to the main walkway and cable car. Complete lack of soundproofing allowed us to hear everything in the hotel from the maids dragging furniture around upstairs to Staff failing to notice (or act on) a distressed dog yapping and scratching at the door of the next room for over an hour (and still yapping throughout the night and day during our stay!). This was easily heard in reception. The bar conveniently played a varied selection of loud music to drown out the yapping to the public (and our room) rather than address the problem of animal neglect (there was nobody on reception to report the distressed dog to when I became concerned for welfare of the animal). Aggressive sounds also coming from the room next door. Is it the hotel that’s responsible for the behaviour of guests? If they are disturbing other guests, then YES! We have never experienced thing this bad in my 40 years of visiting Romania. Shame on you Hotel GES. You should have acted

Evening meal on the rooftop was good. Romanian food, good portions and service spoiled only by the familiar sounds of a yapping dog that could not be controlled by the male once the female left with a baby only to be silenced once the female returned without the baby to carry on drinking. This made our skin crawl and we were glad to be checking out the next morning as soon as the yapping dog in the next room woke us. Internet is non existent unless you are near the centre of the building Bed is not comfortable and the false wooden surrounding hiding the cheap metal legs is an insult to 4 stars The lack of unusable furniture means you have to use patio furniture inside just to use a chair Bad smell from the bathroom drain disguised by placing the bin on top 2 stars maximum from me I’m afraid

The staff were incredible. The roof top terrace was great, it afforded you a great view with the pleasant sea breeze. The breakfast was well worth it. Too the best part, everything was designed to make you feel special, I know we did. We'll be back!!

Right in the middle of the party section but all night party section so not like you could get a party going have a nice time and leave we go to the room you can still hear the party going on 3 to 4 in the morning

Hotel is clean and staff is friendly. Beautifull country, love the see and had amazing weather. Loved the 5th floor terrace, very lovely view, I recommend you book in the side or front sea view rooms as its nicer and quieter.

The private beach is not up to a 4 stars hotel standards, you still need to pay separtetly for the chases and the parking wich is a joke considering how expensive the accommodation is for Romania. The beds are quite lousy and also they accept pets/dogs, however it was noisy due to that and It woke me up. Breakfast is ok however if you go towards the last hour -45 min when its served, you end up eating whatever it's left, not too much refil and there were days when they served old bread rolls or didn't have enough bread. Services are overall quite low, therefore value money for the money is low.

Rooms are verry big, beatifully designed. Also the food is high quality. Hotel staff very nice.

Very clean, staff very friendly and delicious breakfast! Location is very good close to various amenities :) very nice and large room!

The ramp was not in use and very steep, actually not usable at all :( having a baby and therefore a pushchair makes it difficult to get out and in of the hotel. The breakfast room gets very crowded but manageable.

Almost everything was good, so I'd normslly give a high rating, but there were bed bugs in our bed, which is unacceptable
