The property was centrally located in the heart of the old city center. Lot’s of nightlife, restaurants, bars, cafes. The property, however, was just off a Main Street and was absolutely quiet. The apartment was on the ground level and easy to access and absolutely clean. The amenities and applicants were new. We didn’t travel with children but the apartment looks like it would be comfortable for a small family. Electrical outlets were adequate: 4 outlets in the living room and dining room area; 2 in the bedroom; 1 in the bathroom. No air conditioning (we didn’t need it, we had pleasant September weather). Thanks to Madame Benedicte for taking care of us.

We would have liked more sunlight in the bedroom… it was pretty dark. The living room and kitchen area, however, received a lot of light. We could not figure out the combination washing machine and dryer (in fairness to the property, we can never figure out European washers and dryers).

Excellent Location, very central. Spotlessly clean. Great contact from host. Street can be noisy at night but outside of the hosts control. Very comfortable stay with everything needed supplied. The little touches were lovely.

The appartment was extremely clean and comfortable.Especially the bed.The kitchen had everything if you want to self cater.Very central and easy to walk everywhere.Very quite.The land lady met us and was charming and helpful with advice.I can’t recommend the place highly enough.

There was nothing here to dislike.

The Apartment is super central. Parking is available 150 meters away in a underground parking. The host is super nice, she welcomed us in person (given the fact we have booked this 30 min before our arrival). All was absolutely brilliant.

excellent location, tasteful decoration, kind and helpful owner

La Maison de Valentine’s location is ideal for short-term visitors, being very near Rue Sainte Catherine, Bordeaux‘ main shopping street, as well as nearby streets full of eateries of all types. The appartement is well furnished and equipped, bright and offering lots of space. The owner is a great host, friendly, helpful, accessible and accommodating.

Had trouble with the toilet leaking but host worked with me to minimize nuisance.

The location was perfect

The bed was slightly small but that’s our preference nothing wrong with the bed.

The apartment is cute and in an excellent and quiet location.
