Beautiful villa and garden
I also liked the big breakfast table and the fact you eat breakfast all together

An amazing property typically French. James is very welcoming & friendly. Our room La Frene overlooks the front & has a balcony. The big double bed (no duvet but white sheets & blankets here) is very comfortable & the shower works well. The property is very clean & well kept. It’s all beautifully quirky, we loved it. Continental breakfast at one big table for guests is a convivial French affair.
The road at the end of the drive is busy. We couldn’t walk anywhere from the house unfortunately.

James was a fantastic host. He made our stay so memorable. He provided a warm and relaxing stay in a very comfortable room, made us a fabulous breakfast both days, and gave us important tips for restaurants, and things to see in the area and in France.

A charming house and a lovely garden populated by a plethora of free-range chickens, ducks and geese, amongst others. The owner, James, is as characterful as the house itself, being both a treasure trove of local information and a delightful host.

This old mansion is absolutely gorgeous. The grounds and gardens are also lovely. In the backdrop is a small river and an old abandoned Mill which was so cool. I traveled as a party of three and we stayed in the spacious attic. There was essentially a room for each of us and a nice private bathroom. Breakfast was also incredible with homemade bread, jams, and honey.
Everything about this Bed & Breakfast is fantastic but what truly made our stay one of the best of our lives was the owners. James and his partner are kind and welcoming and when we ran into trouble with our rental car they went above and beyond to help us. By above and beyond I mean literally dropping everything to help us. They let us drop off our bags way before check-in time, communicated with Roadside assistance on our behalf, literally drove us to the rental car location in Dieppe to help us get a new car and when there were no cars they drove us to a different rental car company and got us a car there. They saved our trip and we will forever remember their kindness. 5 stars, 10/10. They deserve the highest of praise.

This was our 3rd visit to Villa min repos and we go back because its clean and chic and the welcome we get is just wonderful from James the owner. Its in an excellent location for the ferries and we feel so at home here.

A lovely place full of character with a charming owner. We had the room with the terrace. It was spacious, well appointed and uniquely decorated. Perfect location close to the countryside, coast and Dieppe. Beautiful grounds with a river running by. Breakfast with homemade products was also excellent.

a very nice garden full of animals, a good breakfast and a comfortable room
we have arrived at the location on a dark, rainy night, taking a slightly wild yet exciting route through a beautiful garden... only to discover that we are basically not welcome. Due to some bug in the system the host has failed to receive the information of our arrival and while he readied himself and the room itself we were asked to wait... outside. In the pouring cold rain, in the middle of nowhere, around 8pm with every venue in the sleepy town all closed up. We did not feel welcome and were repeatedly told to go away and look for another hotel regardless of the time, the cold, the rain and the fact we have received a confirmation for what we thought was going to be a comfortable stay at a curious, little place.
After roughly half an hour of waiting the "host" came out again, this time with a confirmation and dead bent on pretending that nothing has happened, no apologies are needed and we should all pretend the whole incident did not just happen and that "we can smile now".
We didn't. This has cost us another 10 minutes of arguing and being sent away. An apology has finally been voiced at this point after we specifically requested one. He has proceeded by adding that he is sure we will give him the worst review but he simply DOES NOT CARE (the last of those words being yelled at us a couple of times).
Long story short, the host has managed to put the "host" in "hostile". Although the garden was beautiful and the house well taken care of the owner has no understanding or no interest in providing the kind of services required for what he charges for, no patience or knowledge for handling any forms of stressful situations and hardly any social skills needed for the job. I suggest he asks someone else to welcome the guests for him.
All in all this has been a horrible experience

Villa mon Repos is the perfect stay for a holiday in Normandie. The beautiful building with his rooms are amazing, takes you back in time! We were welcomed by the absolute lovely owner and we couldn't feel more welcome.
We booked the suite upstairs and this room with 2 bedrooms, bathroom and a livingroom has just everything you need. The room was really cozy with nice and beautiful details and very clean. The house has a beautiful garden as well with a couple chickens and ducks.
The breakfast in the morning is delicious with croissants, baguette, homemade bread and marmelade.
I couldn't recommend this place more!
Nothing, everything was just perfect!

The owner, James, was very helpful. We arrive late and tired and he made us feel very welcome. The room was very clean and with lots interesting furniture. The garden was an oasis of calm.

The range of breakfast was extensive and well taken care of.
The furniture was not adapted in the size of the room. The 'Chinese' bed with edge boards on it was also impractical in the narrow room under roof.
Besides the wifi signal in the room was really too weak. The owner tried to fix it but without success.
The breakfast was served at a one single table for all the guests together. Such a thing is by no means justified in these corona times. Several days before the overnighting I had expressed my concern to the owner about this and he wrote back there would be no eating together at one table. But this was not the case! ...

An oasis of calm with lovely grounds, interesting ducks, geese, chickens, dog and cat. We had a lovely welcome, an excellent recommendation for dinner. Le restaurant du port in Dieppe and a convivial breakfast with the other guests. The homemade yoghurt was excellent.
Accessing the property initially from the road but we did arrive at a busy time

Beautifully restored old house with different styles inside, but only very subtile, and all fits together well. Outside are many cosy little sitting areas in a fantastic garden. Owner is very nice and sweet. He makes it a ‘sport’ to make your breakfast somewhat of a unique experience: a really ‘French’, relaxed atmosphere with local foods, many from the garden, and light entertainment.

What did we not like? We were rather surprised at just how pleasant our family stay turned out to be. In fact, we didn't want to leave. The other guests didn't either.
Apparently this is what you get when you add an exceptional bed and breakfast with luxury hotel management by an unassuming local host. What an excellent welcome, a comfortable stay (great beds), an intriguingly witty and warm host, and breathtaking grounds only enhanced by a clan of adorable pets. The photos don't do this place justice.
Our spacious suite (more like an apartment) punctuated by exposed beams, and other historic architectural details, elegantly mixed modern comfort with vintage thematic design.
It offered two large bedrooms, a well appointed bathroom with shower using filtered spring water (merci), a large living room with flat screen tv (complete channel listings), lots of light fixtures and seating options and beautiful views. We had access to a conveniently located refrigerator and microwave, board games, french magazines and all of the exterior gardens. All this, with an amazing host, James, and a daily french breakfast banquet in a convivial atmosphere. Did I mention he offered gluten free bread?!
James was warm, very responsive to everyone's needs, understanding and dynamic. He obviously does what he loves and loves what he does. The art of hospitality, he masters with prowess and much heart. Quelle belle decouverte. Vous ne partirez pas le coeur insensible. Bravo!
The weather. It turned out to be a cold, gray, windy weekend getaway... which oddly enough only served to enhance our appreciation for our delightful accommodations and entertaining host. We came to visit the area's coastlines but fell for the charm of the bed and breakfast. Go figure. Too bad there's no quaint little restaurant hiding a Michelin chef-in-the-making nearby... then again, too much of a good thing...
