This building was built in somewhere around 1482 and the place is beautiful! Conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. Easy check in and check out process.

We spent 4 nights in this very clean and comfortable apartment. It looks just like pictures in the listing, so no surprises. The welcome package was generous, and the information book was comprehensive, with listings of nearby shops and restaurants, plus instructions on how to operate the dishwasher and washing machine. The kitchen was very well equipped - you could do some serious cooking here.
There were only two of us, but with the large living/dining room with a sleep sofa, and the two bedrooms, it could easily accommodate many more. There were even several small, child-sized futons.
The hosts, Guerrino and Olga, were very friendly, and truly helpful. When we arrived, our GPS was confused. (Or maybe it was me.) I called Olga, and after telling her where we were, she said wait there and Guerrino would come. He got in, directed us to the apartment, and even backed the car in! She also responded promptly to our questions about places to buy gift items. And the day before we left, Guerrino stopped by to tell us that many of the streets in the old town would be shut down for a women's march, and that we should leave before 9:00AM. I called Olga with some questions, and she contacted the municipal offices to find an exact route out of town that would be open, then texted a Google map to us!
We have been using VRBO and others for over 15 years, and have had some very nice hosts, but Guerrino and Olga really stand out! They made our stay in Treviso memorable.

We really enjoyed our time Palazzo Rossi! The apartment is very large and comfortable. It’s always a privilege to stay in a pedestrianised area and the location is perfect. Guerrino’s communication was excellent and it was lovely to receive the generous provisions. The Dassie gelateria is also amazing!

Treviso apartment
I enjoyed my stay at this apartment in Treviso. It was centrally located, was spacious, a good price, was clean and well equipped. However, the beds are old and saggy. After 3 days my back hurt in the morning. My friend who does not have back issues at all agreed that the bed was very uncomfortable. This is the reason that I would not stay at this property again.

Perfectly located, spacious and gorgeous
We were very impressed by this gorgeous, spacious, well-equipped and super clean apartment on the first floor. In this house ancient heritige meets the modernity of the facilities. We loved the balcony and parking place as well. The house has an unbelievably perfect location: right ing the city center, very close to the fish market and close to the main squere. Right above the best gelateria of Treviso (at least). Communication with the host was easy: Guerrino was very friendly with us. He showed us everything in the apartment, and check-in and check-out went easily and timely. We spent one day in Venice (by train it is fast, convenient and cheep) but Treviso in itself is such a beautiful city that we are sill impressed by its atmosphere and beauty.

Falling in Love with Treviso
Guerrino is a warm and gracious host! The location of the apartment is perfect and the apartment is spacious, well-equipped and spotless--located in the heart of this beautiful city. We cannot wait to return! Thank you, Guerrino!

Well located and equipped, excellent price & owner
We stayed for one week in October 2016 in apartment 3B which is 2 bedroom and one bathroom, more than adequate for three adults in our party.
The owner Guerrino is very quick in responding to email and sent quite a comprehensive email pack in response to our initial enquiry and to the booking deposit. These cover the types of apartments available with photographs and maps of the airport showing the location of where to purchase bus tickets and the bus stop/taxi rank.
When we arrived at the apartment, we were met by Guerrino who provided us with yet more information on local attractions etc. he even walked me down to the local ATM to show me the way.
Treviso is a smart town with a city wall walk, one around the surrounding river, modern shopping centre, much of it in colonnaded walkways and interesting old buildings.
The apartment was located on the third floor. There is no lift but those with luggage complying with Ryanair’s requirements will have no problem with the stairs. The apartment was clean, comprehensively equipped and everything worked; with good wifi connection and plenty of hot water for the shower. It also has a small balcony which catches the sun in the afternoons. It is located near two supermarkets, a good ice cream parlour and several cafes. It is a short walk to the centre and about 15 minutes to the station, where you can catch a direct train to Venice and other interesting places to visit. The rather big local market held twice a week is also just around the corner.
This is an excellently located and priced apartment with a friendly helpful proprietor.

excellent for a long weekend break
This was our second stay at Palazzo Rossi. It was a short break and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We stayed on the third floor apartment this time and weren't disappointed. All facilities were provided and it was nice and roomy. We went to Venice for the day and it is so quick, easy and cheap to get there by train. We walked around the walls in Treviso and had some lovely meals, the town has lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. Nice and close to the supermarkets and bread shops. Would definitely recommend this apartment and I am sure we will visit again. thank you

Great apartment in beautiful Treviso
This is a very spacious two bedroomed apartment in the old centre of Treviso which is a lovely walled city only half an hour from Venice. The apartment was well described and lived up to expectations. It is roomy, very clean and well equipped. The pwners could not have been more helpful. If we had any problems, they were immediately sorted out wihout fuss. There was good information about shopping and eating and travel. Treviso is a very good base from which to explore the surrounding countryside with its Palladian villas and walled towns, and, of course, an excellent place for visiting Venice. I would love to return both to Treviso and to the Palazzo Rossi.

Wedding in Treviso
The description and all the details provided were fully informative and accurate. Guerrino and Graziella are friendly, welcoming and helpful. They have thought out their guests needs carefully and provided for them as far as possible. The apartment and the experience deserve the high ratings and reviews. The apartment is solid and well maintained, very clean as is all the linen and bed coverings and beds. All the equipment needed is provided. The owners gave efficient, prompt replies and service. We recommend this property and the city of Treviso very highly. Going to Venice was so easy. We walked to the station and were in Venice in 30 minutes at most. We walked through Venice to St Marks, caught the water bus back to the station and were home for afternoon tea. The ice cream shop under the apartment and the pizza take away across the way are the best in the city. The Treviso market on Tuesday and Saturday ought to be famous; leave some take home space in your bags for this treat. It is very easy for visitors to take part in the life of the town and if travelling with friends or family you will be always meeting up on your frequent strolls about the old town which has many places available to stay at. This property was the best of all our groups bookings both in Treviso and in other cities in Italy, France and Spain. It met every need. Richard and Juliette from Melbourne, Australia.

A lovely apartment in the perfect location.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this Treviso apartment.
Perfectly placed within the old city walls to allow easy exploration of the town, everything you could need (restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, coffee shops, train station) is within very easy walking distance.
The apartment itself was exceptionally clean and well-kept, a lovely place to come back to after a day of exploring and providing all the cooking facilities you need if you want a break from dining out.
Guerrino and Graziella were both very welcoming, taking the time to show us around and talk through the very useful guide of the local area that they had compiled.
I would be more than happy to recommend this property, whether visiting Treviso itself or as an alternative base for exploring Venice (a short, and surprisingly cheap train ride away) and the surrounding area (a day trip to Verona was thoroughly enjoyed).

Break in Treviso - April 2012
We had a lovely spring break in this charming apartment in the historic centre of Treviso. Guerrino and Graziella could not have been more welcoming and helpful, both in arranging the reservation and during our stay. We especially liked the array of maps, brochures and guide books they had provided, in a variety of languages. The flat is quiet but very well situated and it was easy to shop for delicious food - there is a bakery, delicatessen, vegetable shop, pizzeria just a few minutes away, and a superb gelateria just around the corner. The station is about 15 minutes' walk away, or you can take the 'Green Bus' from near the apartment, and we had easy day trips to Padova and Vicenza as well as Venice. I have rented flats in Venice several times over the years, but in future I would most definitely prefer to stay here.

Wonderful apartment in historic Treviso
We were delighted with our apartment in Treviso. It was in a perfect location, and was exactly as described by the owner. The accommodation was very high quality, spacious, comfortable, very clean and welcoming. The owner was courteous and professional, helpful and clearly wanted our holiday to be enjoyable. This apartment will be our first choice when we next visit northern Italy. There are wonderful coffee bars, restaurants, wine bars, gelaterie in the neighbourhood. We ate in a couple of times: the vegetables and fruits available in the independent shops and the market are so fresh and varied. We bought terrific lasagne and melanzane dishes from a nearby butcher / delicatessen. I liked the independent shops much better than the supermarkets. Huge street market on Saturday and Tuesday mornings ... fascinating. Highly recommended.

THE place to stay
In the week we spent touring the Veneto by train, Treviso was our favourite place and Guerrino's flat the perfect spot within it.
Markets, multiple river fronts, plenty of life but not too many tourists, great jumping off point for everywhere else etc. Treviso is ideal.
The flat is central, cool, comfortable, spacious and reasonably priced. The kitchen has everything you could ask for and is nice to eat in with the door on to the balcony.
Guerrino was a welcoming host and, living above you, can help out when you can't turn the TV on!
A great find - hope to go back one day

Great stay
First of all let me thank both Guerrino and Graziella for their warm hospitality and helpfulness. Myself, my wife, 2 year old daughter, Mother in Law and her sister all enjoyed the clean, well maintained and spacious accommodation. It is very close to amenities and in the lovely old city. Especially enjoyed the ice cream gellateria and pizzaria around corner were excellent. Supermarkets were nearby and train station was reasonable walk with regular service to Venice. The local maps at the apartment were especially helpful for us to find local places of interest and the wi-fi good for checking mails. We enjoyed the good size kitchen and living areas and relaxed in evening watching DVDs.
Would recommend the accommodation to those looking for a nice place with good surroundings as well as good links to Venice.

Peace and Quiet
The quality of this property is excellent and while the owners are nearby and available if you need them they are not at all intrusive.
The property is clean and well maintained.
In relation to Treviso walking was a little long but local taxis served us well.
Just beware of the mosquitoes - if they like you they are vicious.
We had a great time
Thanks Barbara and Mauro

As comfortable as home in magnificent location
A personal welcome, juice in the fridge and some local biscuits on the table (& Easter eggs!). From the outset we were very impressed with our host Guerrino and his beautiful apartment in Treviso.
We have been on the road through Europe for 2 months and this is the best place we've stayed in. The fact you can go in the door and relax immediately, with the apartment being completely set up to live in from the moment you arrive. All the things we needed for our 2 little girls (1 & 3) including stroller if required.
Guerrino takes you through everything about the apartment as well as local attractions, transport to Venice and a locals guide to Venice which is invaluable.
The apartment is in the centre of Treviso, above an excellent Gelateria (personal experience!). The markets on Saturday are amazing. The town itself is beautifully laid out with chic shops, plenty of restaurants and lovely green spaces & canals for wandering. We had a great lunch at Toni del Spin. Venice was a short train trip away.
The apartment was spotless with lots of room.
Highly recommend this place to all

Great apartment, friendly service & gorgeous city!
I just wanted to reiterate the postive comments of previous reviewers in saying that Treviso is a gorgeous city (I'd live there in a heartbeat if I could speak Italian better!) with such close proximity to other fantastic cities and mountain regions. We had a car so that we could do some day trips but you could easily get along without one as the train system is excellent.
The apartment is SO big and cool, the facilities are excellent (all basics already in the kitchen for cooking, eg. oil, spices, etc), its location is perfect and Guerrino and Graziella are really lovely people. Our daughter (4yrs) keeps asking if we can "go back to Italy and stay in that nice man's house".
We will be back again someday! Thank you.

Spacious apartment in excellent location
It's hard to imagine a better situated apartment. It's in the prettiest part of a delightful town, only fifteen minutes walk to the station, which is only 30 minutes from Venice. On a five day trip, we spent two in Venice, but also two in Treviso: plenty to see in charming piazzas, and excellent coffee shops. No obvious disadvantages, other than being over a too-tempting gelateria, with delicious icecream. Guerrino and Graziella were the most helpful and considerate hosts. Should we return to Venice this is definitely where we'll stay.

Great apartment with a great location right in the historic centre. Guerrino was very helpful, and had lots of useful information on daytrips and where to eat/shop/visit in Treviso. Our family had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended.

Great spacious apartment in an ideal location. The Tuesday market around the corner is huge. The ice-cream shop and nearby bars and restaurants are great. The apartment is well equipped and scrupulously clean. We'll be back - can't say fairer than that! Owners are friendly and helpful. Booking process and settling-in easy and hassle free.

The best kept secret is Treviso!!
I am writing this whilst still in the apartment. We have had a wonderful week here, the accomodation is excellent with everything you could need provided or within a few yards distance. It is in the town above the very popular Gelato shop (which stays open until late) The Pizzeria Ristorantino S Agostini (just down the road) is excellent and very good value as is Sa Pina on the main square. Treviso is a truly delightful town to explore and there are lots of hidden gems to discover. The trips to Venice could not be easier, stroll to the station, buy your return ticket (stamp it in the yellow machine) board the train and 30/40 minutes later you will arrive at the Grand Canal. We purchased day tickets for the Vaporreto (currently 16 euro) and enjoyed every minute. We did two 'round trips' on the number 1 & 2 routes then hopped on and off at will. St Marks was teeming but well worth the wait. The area around Accademia/Salute is a perfect contrast. We also hopped on to the other routes which give you very different views of 'working' Venice. Being based here in Treviso is perfect, you are under no pressure and the information boards at the Venice St Lucia station are very clear. Our Italian is very basic and everyone we have encountered has been very helpful & patient. We would recommend this apartment & Treviso to anyone wishing to visit Venice and the surrounding area. We will certainly return next year and, hopefully, see one of the Welsh teams play (and beat) Benneton Treviso in the Magners League! Grazie Guerrino, mi sono divertito moltissimo. Trevisso e molto bella, vorrei ritornare!
Other info:
We flew Ryanair from East Midlands Airport (£103 return)
Family room at Thistle Hotel with one week parking £79
Taxi from airport to apartment 15 euro.
Train to Venice 4.70 euro return
Vaporetto 12 hour ticket 16 euros (a single journey would be 6.50 euro) Most people get off at St Marks so it is worth doing a 'round trip' and staying on the boat and you should be able to get to the seats on the front. Take a picnic !
