Two middle aged couples on an 18-day 12 hotel road trip thru DE-CH-IT-CH-DE. This was our 11th stop. Hotel being on the cheaper side of them all, we liked the area and the hotel. The restaurant at this hotel had "ruhe tag", so we can't judge that.
Yet another hotel where restaurant was closed and no info about that when booking. This info is very helpful when planning trips as we change location more or less daily.

Bathroom was quite small especially for a longer stay. We had booked overnight accommodation and so was sufficient.
Excellent breakfast. Short walk into town with plenty of choice of restaurants.
A picturesque town with lovely buildings and full of character.

The guy at the reception who also served on the terrace outside was very friendly and extremely helpful with organizing taxis and selecting wines. The room was small amd simple but very clean and the bed was good
