Charming Cottage on "best kept secret" lake- Lamoka
Vi diamo il benvenuto nel nostro accogliente cottage in una posizione perfetta. Che tu abbia una famiglia impegnata o cerchi una vacanza romantica o un po 'di tempo con gli amici, questo è il posto ideale. Con due letti matrimoniali e un letto matrimoniale nelle 3 camere da letto, c'è molto spazio per dormire. Il cottage a un piano ha un bel piano aperto con un soggiorno e una veranda con zona pranzo e posti a sedere che si apre su un ponte con una magnifica vista sul lago. Solo 2 passaggi per entrare e uscire dal cottage facilitano le manovre. Il cortile recintato, il lungolago pianeggiante e le facili scale del pontile lo rendono ideale per famiglie con bambini. Il cortile ha sempre un bel mix di sole e ombra.
Le dimensioni del lago Lamoka lo rendono perfetto per nuotare e andare in canoa, grazie al riscaldamento dell'acqua più rapido e più calmo rispetto ai grandi laghi finger. Pesca al largo del molo, usa la nostra facciata sul lago per entrare in acqua per una nuotata o metti la tua barca in pochi minuti, al varo, e legala al molo per praticare sport acquatici. C'è una barca a remi e una canoa per il vostro uso e divertimento. Saranno forniti giubbotti di salvataggio per bambini e adulti. Puoi pagaiare fino a Red Bank Island, dove puoi dondolare da una corda d'albero, nuotare e goderti anche splendide viste.

Nice cottage! Very peaceful while we were there.Owner Jean responded quickly to any questions we had. She was very helpful.
Beds were comfortable. Rooms were all comfortable- ac worked well. The cottage was actually more open and spacious than the photos depicted. Clean.We had access to a canoe, 2 kayaks and a fishing boat with a solar powered battery.Husband and granddaughter also fished off the dock as well -caught numerous fish (catch & release). Great for families or a couples retreat.Neighbors very friendly and helpful. The Keuka Lake area Is beautiful and has many great wineries, craft breweries and restaurants. Nearby Champlin Beach on Keuka Lake was great for swimming.Only negative was trying to use the TV/it was a new tv but connection very slow trying to access Roku- but so much to do didnt miss it much.

Lake house was great. Right on the lake with access to a small boat and kayaks. All of the cooking utensils were well stocked. Hard water was a little unpleasant but manageable. Lake house relatively clean but there was some dog hair which was surprisingly considering it's a pet free rental. Overall would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage on Lake Lamoka. It was the perfect size for our 4 person family and was an easy commute to the places we wanted to visit (Watkins Glen and Letchworth State Park). We did run into a sewage problem during our stay that was promptly addressed by the property owner.
There are a lot of near by food options though we also cooked several meals at the home. The grill worked great.
The feedback I would give and why I rated 4 instead of 5 stars is the place could use some refreshed supplies, ie kitchen essentials, towels, wash clothes, etc. and a thorough clean. Neither horrible but notable.
All and all we enjoyed our time at the cottage!!

We've stayed here before and hope to stay again. We enjoyed sunrises, relaxing on the lawn, campfires, cooking on the grill, kayaking, spending time with family. We visited Crystal Valley Farm, Macgregor's, shopped in Hammondsport, ate at the BBQ place on Waneta Lake during sunset, and attended WGI. It was a jam packed 5 days.

Cozy, comfortable cottage with perfect access to the lake. Fishing right off the dock was a highlight for our 11-year-old. Gorgeous view. The cell service is very spotty or unavailable, but the WiFi worked great.

Nothing fancy. Great for fishing , didn’t have an hour without catching something at the dock. Great kayaking. Very low water pressure in shower so time your showers accordingly! Very quiet, peaceful, beautiful. Watkins Glen is wonderful…. Good food and pier. Truly relaxing trip.

Our family of five loved staying at this property. The beds and pillows were comfy, the deck and yard are perfect, the rowboat and kayaks are so super fun, and that lakeside view and access is amazing. We enjoyed the smaller lake (compared to Seneca), and easy access to popular attractions. Staying at the property and enjoying a day at the lake was perfect too. Our week there zoomed by and we loved it.

We were very happy with the property. Very quiet, great location in terms of being on a lake and close to other destinations in the area. Very friendly neighbors. The only other feedback we have to offer - the owners have a dog (apparently). Two people in my family have pet allergies, so we specifically seek out rentals that don't allow pets, and this one doesn't. However, we noticed a leash and other items related to a dog in the house and dog hair on some of the blankets / carpets. Not a lot by any means, but it did bother our allergies initially. It wasn't a bad experience by any means or a deal breaker, we just would have preferred to know this up front (unless we missed it in the listing).

Cute and comfortable cottage. No central heating BUT the space heaters that were provided and the electric fireplace kept us warm.
Chairs in back sunroom were great for reading.
Quiet area but very well located for day trips to Finger Lake region. Host provided info for local restaurants which was helpful (check back of host notes on fridge your first day as we missed this info initially.
Enjoyed the fire pit and starry skies at night.

The property was quaint and directly on the water. It was a pleasant spot to stay as it was centrally located between Watkins Glen, Penn Yan and Hammondsport. Cottage was nice and had a comfy feel.

beautiful property with lake in back yard. Away from all the busy, crazy of daily life. Jean is great, she even made sure that we had kayaks which made my son very happy. We hope to go back next year

Cute little cottage right on the water. Perfect for my husband and me to get away for the week. Our primary activity is always hiking so we didn’t spend a lot of time there but there was a nicely equipped kitchen, grill, fire pit, wood burning stove, canoe, rowboat and fenced in yard. Loved it! Would rent again if we come back!

Cozy little cottage on Lake Lamoka
This little cottage was a terrific base to explore from - a quick and pleasant drive to Keuka Lake and Seneca Lake. It is a really comfortable home to stay in and we enjoyed the beautiful lake views and quiet. Highly recommend a stay here.

This property seems unassuming. It was a great location on the lake. Wish I would have brought a fishing pole as the fish were jumping out of the water in the early am. The supplies that were left were great. There is nothing that we could have needed. Nice spot for a quiet weekend exploring the Finger Lakes.

Good Location
This house was clean and right on a very nice lake - only about 20 minutes from downtown Watkins Glen for food, shopping and hiking. Plus LOTS of wineries, breweries, distilleries, etc. My husband and I enjoyed our stay.

We played kubb and bocci. Kayaking/canoeing to Red Bank island was also a lot of fun. Overall, the house was perfect for what we were looking for, and so glad we found it!

The cottage was cozy and comfortable and right on the lake with a awesome view of the lake. We used the boat that was available and did some fishing.

We played kubb and bocci. Kayaking/canoeing to Red Bank island was also a lot of fun. Overall, the house was perfect for what we were looking for, and so glad we found it!

Lovely lake cottage
This lovely Lake cottage on Lake lamoka was perfect for our family. Three bedrooms with comfortable mattresses, air conditioning in each bedroom, large shower and wonderful backyard and Patio.
The kayaking/boating was wonderful. The lake does have a large amount of weeds, swimming was a bit difficult, however, there is a beachy swimming area off the island. Also suggest you go to Watkins Glen. It was amazing there! The bike / rail trail called the Catherine Valley Trail, is good. However, it needs to be marked a bit better; be sure to take your phone with GPS. Do not plan on biking from the cottage, these are not little Hills!
Definitely stay here if you are looking to relax! We had a wonderful time.

Family stay, lots of good memories made here.
We enjoyed the cottage, the views, the trips out on the lake(s) and to Red Bank Island. At the cottage we grilled and ate outside, had camp fires, enjoyed the sunrises. The neighbors were friendly. We had a really great time!!

great lake house for the family
We had a wonderful stay. The house was terrific and very comfortable, and my family got a lot of use out of the rowboat and canoe. It's a perfect and quiet home base that's centrally located in the Finger Lakes with lots of hiking and wineries a short drive away. I'm sure we'll be back.
