Nice and clean property, well located; nice size bedrooms and bathrooms; the dining/kitchen area is very simple, without much view, but we had a good time and would definitely recommend the property.

Everything thing is as described. Ten minutes to The Old Town walking alongside the beaches and turquoise/blue sea. Audrey was very helpful and the apartment actually had cleaning products, herbs and spices, olive oil etc. Most places seem to come with the cupboards totally bare so this made a pleasant change. I'm sure we'll be back in the future.

Nice, large apartment, short way to city center and for purchasing. About 50m to the sea (rocks) and a few steps more to the city beach. Good equipment but not very high quality (kitchen/bed). price/performance > good/ok

We spent 10 days in the apartment and we had a great time in Otranto! The apartment is located next to the rocky beach where is access to the sea and where you can find also a challenging high rock where our boys loved to jump into the water. The water is clean and full of interesting marine life. Short walking distance is sandy beach with shallow water. The beautiful historical town Otranto is full of restaurants, cafeteterias, gelaterias etc. The apartment is very spacious, clean, nicely decorated and in fact it looks even better than on the pictures! Finally, we would like to thank Audrey, she was a wonderful and caring host and we have enjoyed every moment of our stay there!

We rented Audrey and Davide's apartment for 2 weeks during the high season in August and despite it being the peak tourist season we found the apartment and location to be ideal for our summer vacation. We could walk barefoot from the apartment to the rocky seafront at 8am and throw ourselves into cristal clear water for a morning swim along the beautiful coast! 5min away there was access to a sandy beach and beautiul shallow lagoon which was perfect for our 15 months old daughter to swim/enjoy herself in. She even learned how to walk there. The apartement was relatively cool despite hot temperatures and every room was equipped with a fan. 5min walking distance away there is a great little bar with a beautiful view and the old town in which we loved to enjoy morning coffees and fresh croissants. They also served delicious local sandwiches and drinks. The neighbourhood is quiet, there is a perfect parking spot just in front and we even made friends with some of the lovely neighbours. The apartment is clean and pleasant! We hope to be able to come again!

Das Appartment ist geräumig, sauber und ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. In wenigen Schritten hat man das Meer erreicht, und bald auch den Strand. Mit Kindern kann man das flache Wasser genießen, auch Schwimmer kommen auf ihre Kosten. Mit großer Hilfsbereitschaft stand die Vermieterin bereit, um Rat zu geben. Otranto ist eine wunderschöne Stadt mit viel Ambiente und vielfältigen Gelegenheiten zu kulinarischen Genüssen. Wir können das Apartment wärmstens empfehlen!

The apartment is very clean, well maintained and equipped. Audrey was very helpful in getting us settled and orientated, and was nearby if needed. Location is excellent - there is a nice beach less than five minutes walk away, and the old town + wonderful beaches are about a five minute walk along the front. The neighbourhood is quiet and residential, with two decent supermarkets nearby. The apartment is very well suited for young families. It is on the ground floor and there are no steps, so ideal if you have a buggy. Audrey provided a really good quality travel cot and high chair - our four month old slept better than he does at home. Only other points to note is that one of the bedrooms is at the other side of the apartment to the main two bedrooms, so you will not hear any waking baby in the night (could be a good thing) unless you have a baby monitor. And the floors are hard tile throughout so you may need to take that into account with crawlers / toddlers. The nearby beaches are ideal for kids - lovely sand and shallow warm water.

Very friendly, helpful and English speaking owner. Apartment well equipped and located in a quiet part of town with good access to the beaches and sea views from the master bedroom. We had a very enjoyable stay here and hope to return sometime. I would highly recommend.

We spent a week in this property in July which was our first visit to Otranto. I would have no hesitation in recommending both the area and this accommodation to anyone. The property was exactly as described, spotlessly clean, within a 10 minute walk from the town centre and approximately 100 metres from a rocky shore where we jumped into the sea most evenings. Audrey was most helpful in organising our stay and making the experience a pleasant one.

Very nice appartment for us (4 adults and 2 children 10 & 12 years old). Short walk to Beach, coffee-bars, old city and restaurants. We do not hesitate to return to Otranto and this appartement. Tiny and beautiful city, and excellent location to explore sorrounding areas in Italy's "heel". Audrey; thanks for wonderful stay for my Family.

Ho trascorso una settimana con 6 amici in questo bellissimo appartamento in Otranto! Audrey, la proprietaria, è stata fin da subito molto disponibile e ha sempre tempestivamente risposto a tutte le mie email con gentilezza e professionalità. Al nostro arrivo in Otranto Audrey ci ha concesso di fare il check in qualche ora prima dell'orario indicato da contratto, evitandoci così di rimanere ore in attesa sotto il caldo sole pugliese. La casa che abbiamo trovato andava sicuramente oltre le nostre aspettative! Innanzitutto la posizione è fantastica, in quanto è situata a due passi dalla spiaggia di Otranto, che sembra una piscina naturale e dal centro storico della città, pieno di negozietti, bar, ristoranti, ecc. L'organizzazione delle stanze era perfetta, infatti, pur essendo in 7 persone si poteva godere dei propri spazi privati nelle camere da letto e nei due bagni, molto grandi e dotati di doccia, e condividere invece gli spazi comuni sia esterni (un cortile esterno con ampio tavolo, ombrellone, stendibiancheria, ecc) che interni (la cucina, nuova in tutto e per tutto e accessoriata a dovere, la sala da pranzo con un ampio tavolo e un divano su cui riposarsi). Inoltre sono rimasta colpita dalla presenza di spazi adibiti appositamente per la spazzatura, la lavanderia e il ripostiglio in cui potrete trovare ombrelloni, giochi da spiaggia, giochi per i bambini, attrezzatura per pulire la casa, ecc. Siamo rimasti pienamente soddisfatti dalla scelta di questo appartamento, che consiglio a chiunque voglia gustarsi le bellezze di Otranto e dintorni.

This apartment is in a great location for Otranto, it is in walking distance for all you would want. It is clean and well equipped. A car is recommended as there is some great places to visit including some restaurants further a field. We will stop again in the near future. Many thanks for a great two weeks.

We had a very pleasant stay in Otranto in this apartment. The apartment is spacious, clean and cool even though there is no ac. All os us slept very well. The location is great: you can see the sea through the kitchen window and the stroll into Otranto old town is pleasant. The beach is a five minute walk away, with crystal clear water. The apartment is amazing! We really enjoyed staying here.A really central location and a lovely walk into town via the sea front.We swam in the sea ,off the rocks which really are seconds ,across the road from the apartment.The listing of this property is VERY accurate,the facilities are well maintained and really clean.The owner Audrey was excellent and really did provide and excellent service right down to the point of meeting us at the petrol station to guide us to the property.We would not hesitate to stay here again.Otranto is a fabulous place to stay if you want a holiday free of Britshness!We loved the beaches ,the old town,the beautiful azure sea .It is bursting with excellent sea food restaurants,in particular DEL BAFFO and Al bastioni in the harbour.Great bars in the old town to sit and people watch too.For me Otranto has everything ,sunshine,history ,good food and wine and superb beaches.

The apartment is fabulous,only seconds from the rocky cove to snorkel in!The facilites are really great,with 2 double bedrooms and 3 single beds.It was really clean.The stroll to the sea front was great with fabulous views of the bay of Otranto.Audrey the owner was so helpful,she met us at the petrol station to guide us to the apartment.She also emailed us directions from Brindisi. We would not hesistate to recommend or return to this property.As for Otranto it is a perfect unspoilt Italian seaside resort,complete with history,a castle and a beautiful cathederal.We took a tour in a 3 wheeler van with Guiseppe,he was amazing and took us to the bauxite lake and the place where the martyrs died.Although he didnt speak english I got to practice my Italian and he had printed english cards to expain where we were.We also went to Lecce ,which was so beautiful and a must do!We also made it to Santa Maria de Leuca,the farthest most point on the heel of Italy,a lovely place to visit with its rugged coastline. We enjoyed this part of Italy so much we will return next year.Otranto really does have everything,great bars and restaurants,history,a castle and a cathederal and lovely beaches,in summary a perfect holiday and a lovely apartment to stay in.

Large apartment - very clean and spacious with everything you require for a comfortable stay. Brilliant location - can see the sea from the kitchen (approx 20-30 yards away). Within 10 minutes of local supermarkets, bars and beaches. Owners Audrey and Davide (english and italian speaking) were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough to help e.g. organising a night out at a wonderful restaurant a few miles away including a taxi ride in the little ape taxis. Also very helpful when I managed to lock us out of the apartment. Otranto itself is fantastic - swimming in the sea is a two minute walk from the apartment, or 5 minutes to the gentle sloping beach which is very safe for children. Also recommended are the numerous local restaurants and the ice creams. Travelling in Puglia in general is easy - Gallipoli is beautiful and on the sea, Lecce is lovely - well worth a visit.

Otranto is a nice place and we had a great time in the apartment. We spent a week there with a 4 months old baby, the apartment wa scomfortable and we had a great time!

We had a very enjoyable week in Otranto staying in this apartment as a family with small children. We stayed in October at the end of the tourist season. The location is excellent - quiet neighbourhood, near some very nice beaches a very short walk away, and a beautiful 15 minute walk into the atmospheric centre of Otranto. We were taking language courses at Porta D'Oriente - the apartment is about a 15-20 minute walk away, also convenient. The property is spacious and clean, - we were pleasantly surprised by the the size and overall feel of the apartment. It has all the amenities including crib and highchair which suited our needs. The owners were very nice and helpful - we couldn't have had a better week. We would recommend this apartment to friends or family.
