Nice pool and placement to the beach and city life of Lamai

I booked seaview so had an expectation to have a front row bungalow. I mentioned that but was told the one they had avaliable was only for 2 days and not for 3 nights that we had booked. We were dissapointed. Of course running a place like this is about making money, but here it is to obviously. They even mark the drinks in the fridge with a label so you cannot go to 7-eleven to fill up the fridge. Also my asian wife was told she could not sit in the outside 32 degree dining area in her bathing bra so we had to move to another area. Right after a white woman sat in the same area and nothing was mentioned to her.

The reception staff, especially jor, were exceptionally helpful and pleasant

the rooms are small in size no where for suitcase, bathrooms could do with a refurb

the beach! staff was really friendly

the shower/bath tub was not at all what was promised from the pictures (and we had an upgrade). a second nightstand was missing and a place for the backpack/suitcase.

from the moment we arrived we were greeted by Jorr who was a fantastic customer service representative of the hotel explaining everything available and things to do in the area. shout also goes to Ying who helped us organise some transport. They also hire out scooters. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they were just happy to help and always smiling. The location was great, right on the beach and also a lovely pool area with a bar. Everyone seemed to stop and take photos of the beach outside the hotel as it was the nicest bit with lovely palm trees leaning towards the sea. We had a room overlooking the beach and pool area and it was clean, spacious and comfortable with good WiFi and a decent shower and separate jacuzzi bath. There is a great food market every night only a 10 min walk from the hotel. The hotel area was very quiet but if you wanted the buzz of the bars and restaurants it was only a short walk away. Breakfast at the hotel was ok. Overall very good value for a 3 star hotel.

The location is very nice, beachside and just a a few meters from the main street with bars, restaurants, shops and massage places. Breakfast area next to the beach with beachview. enough beach chairs (it was not fully booked), but I think there would be enough even fully booked

the beach was a bit untidy, lets say lot of rubbish. specially the puplic beach next to the resort. the bungalow we booked was not the size the mentioned, it says 38qm. I think it was not even 20 including toilet/shower and terrace. just a double bed, one bedside table on one side of the bed on the other side it was the fridge. You basically just could walk around your bed, no space to place your laguage. it was space enough for our 4 night stay and we just traveld with our 20l backpack. If we would have stayed longer it would be to small. thats was not a big thing for us but I could imagine for some people it could be

The friendly staff and the good food!

The cabines were ok, but for us a shower with a curtain and a hand held shower is not very comfortabel.

Staff were all very friendly, helpful and courteous. Rooms have an amazing view right on the beach.

The only down side is that the resort is separated from the main section of beach by a dirty river which joins the ocean. One must wade through it to reach the rest of the beach or walk a longer distance along the road. That being said, it does keep the beach very quiet.

They gave me different room, not the blue one I booked in the first place. The room was on the 1st floor close to reception, very noisy, people were slamming doors and screaming drunk but no one told them anything. The room was smelling mold and old, the bed sheets were bad smelling and when we asked to move us to another room, that I booked originally, the guy on reception kept insisting we upgrade for more expensive room. Eventually he showed us the blue room on the beach I booked and it was freshly painted with the smell of paint. Another room on the second floor he showed us smelled bad and the same as the first with mold and damp. When I asked him at least to change the bed sheets, he said “oh, it’s actually not that bad”. I would not go back there myself or recommend to others except if you wanna sleep in a damp room

Great location, fabulous staff, very good value for money. Second time we have visited and would go back.

The location is amazing right on the beach, not far from lamai center and eating drinking places. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room had been upgraded since our last visit and a little extension on for sitting area inside. The balcony has table and chairs, and loungers on beach with swings on trees. The food was very good Thai spicy you have to ask for, but flavours great.

Nothing everything how we expected but we have stayed four times so know what to expect

Nice pool with jacuzzi, good location on the beach and close to main street. Very good breakfast, restaurant on the beach. Good easy vibe.

Massive room. Big bathroom. Cheap mini bar. Awesome housekeeping staff. Good menu. Seaside. Close to Sunday Walking Street which is a must. The pool was beautiful.

It was a little dated but in a way, the old thai style is cool.
