The property has it charm!!! old but comfortable. Big and spacious bathroom and bedroom

Warm welcome from the owner and help with my luggage. It is a beautiful house with lovely furnishings and our room was very spacious, with a very large, comfortable bed. Very generous breakfast in the grand dining room.

The shower was rather antiquated and required rather a large step up, which wasn't ideal for someone with mobility issues. I missed having a bedside table where I could put my book and my alarm clock but that wasn't possible with the present layout, which is a shame, because it is a beautiful room.

Lovely old house and garden with private parking within easy walking distance of the centre. Everything was right: lovely room, splendid breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, and even a communal sitting room with refreshments. Highly recommended.

Interesting old house well restored. Sculptures in the garden very interesting and not really in keeping with the house but entertaining.

Stylish intérieur, family like atmosphere (only 4 rooms, so very personal atmosphere). The hostess lives on site and prepares breakfast herself. Quiet location.

Magalie the owner was an excellent host despite the language barrier. The setting a 19th Century Manor House was wonderfully decorated delightful furnishings it was a great shame it was only a one night stop over. The breakfast was amazing everything you could think of for continental and you could sit out on the terrace if you wished.

The host was incredibly accommodating. We had a very early start in the morning, well before the allotted breakfast time, but she made sure we knew where everything was so that we could help ourselves. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the shower worked very well.

Being an old house, the floorboards did creak a lot. We were therefore very conscious about moving about so early on the morning we left!

Breakfast was very nice. The welcome was great and very helpful. Would like to come back.

The house has the most beautiful interior. Madame was charming and had prepared a lovely breakfast with what appeared to be some homemade produce. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The town is very interesting and worth a visit.The whole stay was fantastic.

A beautiful old house that has been renovated by the owners very lovingly. Very interesting history of who owned it in the past which Madame told us about. The house itself is in its own grounds behind security gates and with secure parking on site. It is on the edge of town and about a fifteen minute walk into the old centre where the amazing cathedral is located around which are a variety of restaurants. Our room was spotlessly clean and of a really good size,furnished with lovely period furniture. Continental breakfast very good with Madame’s home made jam!

It was a very traditional French style big house. Ample secure parking place within the property as they had electric gates. Satisfactory breakfast with lots to eat, though it was mostly sweet. Fruit salad excellent.

L’Oustal was a historic property which was very charmingly quirky in its details. The dining room was extremely comfortable as was the bedroom/bathroom. Excellent breakfast with a good range of cheeses and cold meats, a home made fruit salad; pain épice and yoghourt. There was much to enjoy.

The only thing that would have been a bonus would have been a kettle in the bedroom.

Well it was a nice old mansion. With the typical old bathroom and room. I loved it so much. Old french history. The hostess was the sweetest. She only spoke french but it gives a nice vacation vibe. We tried our best for the french part but we succeeded. You could also sit in a area we're u could take drinks whatever u want. Cutest tea and coffee with monin sirope. Restaurants we're walk distance away. if u go there by car you would say what a neighborhood is this until u ride true those gates and ur at the best. We we're happy our car could stay at the property.

Quiet but close to the center

Beautiful villa 15 min walk from Bourges centre. Comfortable rooms and a lovely fresh breakfast woth homemade yoghurts, cookies and other goodies. Very friendly hosts.
