Great breakfast served on hot plates. Eggs were lovely as was the bacon and sausage. Nothing was too much trouble and offered more juice,coffee and toast. Room was very comfortable with a great shower. Good value for money.

The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous! Perfectly cooked, and hosts were very kind to supply exactly what I liked/ needed - due to being Gluten-free. The fruit salad, had the most amazing selection of fresh fruits. Fresh milk in the bedroom - made tea much nicer, and was a lovely touch (I could have done without - just for environmental reasons). The property is a very old-fashioned farmhouse, and has been decorated in keeping with the theme - lovely selection of interesting artworks too. They are dog friendly - which is amazing!! Room was huge, and bed too - and very comfortable.

I was given a key and told the front door can be a bit tricky, with some difficulty of access - which made it hard to avoid making a noise to access late on. And made me worried, about disturbing guests or the hosts. It is also dark at the doorway and so on - so, quite tricky with the locks and stiffness. I managed it fine though.

Breakfast was excellent. Lots of it and well cooked. Room spacious , had a small fridge and a microwave. Bed was comfortable. Very friendly staff.

The room was upstairs two flights of stairs and difficult to manoeuvre suitcase, bags and dog crate up them with dog in tow.

Breakfast was beautiful and fresh and hot with good ingredients cooed very well.I have allergies and liz made me a lovely fruit salad with yoghurt. The house was lovely with lots of character and very dog friendly. The owners greeted you like old friends I would highly recommend.

The building itself was beautiful and tastefully decorated, in keeping with its age. The room was thoughtfully furnished, with plenty of useful storage. The mini fridge was very handy and there was enough room for me to set up a pen for my dog, who travelled with me. Everything was spotlessly clean and the garden was a lovely space.

Lovely friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The hosts are very welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and ensure we had everything we needed. The room was spacious, warm and bright, and well-equipped with a kettle, fridge, microwave, TV and digital alarm clock. We travelled with a little dog, who enjoyed a sniff around the garden (on a lead). We were welcome to come and go as we pleased throughout the day and evening, and no one bothered us. The hosts provided details of local takeaways and said we were welcome to book a delivery, and offered to provide plates and cutlery to use in our room. The room was quiet, we couldn't hear anyone else in the house and there was very little road noise. The breakfast choice was extensive, and the cooked breakfast was generous in size and cooked to perfection. It was an extremely enjoyable stay.

Nothing, everything at least met our expectations and largely exceeded them. For a family-run accommodation, I don't think there was much more we could have asked for.
