Owners were very helpful and responsive. When we could not track down a boat rental, the owner directed us to a place that rented boats year round. The house was the perfect size and well-appointed. The kayak was fun and the kids enjoyed fishing off of the pier.

The lake house was perfect! The home was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed cooking and eating dinner on the outside deck. We also fished - that was an adventure!!

Great stay. 40 min drive to Auburn. Lots of space for the family to spread out. Amenities included cornhole, fire pit (w/ firewood), kayak, gas grill and multiple outdoor seating areas. Clean and well kept.

Every year we plan a trip with a group of friends for the fall. This is a great property that has lots of cozy indoor space to watch games or movies and outdoor space as well to relax. We really enjoyed our time there!

Our stay was awesome. The house was perfect for a party of 9. The location on the lake was great. It was nice being off of the main area of the boat traffic. Everyone could swim off the dock and in the canal. It was close to all the attractions and marinas. Will definitely be booking this place again!

We love staying at this property. The home and wharf are soooo clean. Our family enjoys staying here for a football weekend. The owner always gets right back to us and is very pleasant and helpful. Again, the property is extremely clean, and we enjoy using the kayak.

The house was immaculate and beautifully furnished. The owners thought of just about everything you would need. The location and the views of the lake were spectacular! My wife, her parents, our daughter and her husband all live in different states, but we wanted to spend time together, so we decided a weekend at Lake Martin was the ticket. We chose this property because it was big enough for us all to stay comfortably, it was right on the lake with a private dock for our WaveRunners, and it looked beautiful in the listing. We were all very happy with the choice, the house is very nice and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The owners were very good communicators and we had no issues checking in or out. We hope to come back here again in the future.

On the water with amazing view. Close to food, grocery store, spa, boat ramp. Relaxing and quiet, clean house. Lake was perfect for fishing and house was big enough to entertain at home. Can’t wait to go back!

Amazing home!
It was perfect! We cooked several meals and had everything we needed. The view of the lake was amazing and everyone had their own bedroom for the weekend. Caught two bass fishing right off the dock, before our guide every arrived!

Great place on Lake Martin!
My family and I had a wonderful long weekend stay here. Everything was very clean when we arrived. There are wonderful outdoor living spaces here (screened porch, open porch, fully open deck, and covered dock at the water), and we spent the majority of our time on the covered dock close to the water. We cooked all of our meals at the house, and the house was well stocked with kitchen supplies and utensils (even adequately sharpened knives!). We loved the covered, screened in deck on the main living floor and enjoyed our morning coffee there. My infant daughter made the trip with us, too, and loved watching the ducks swim by. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions I had before our arrival. Everyone in our group said they would definitely stay here again, and I would recommend this place for families for a nice lakeside getaway! Thanks to Tammy and Brad for sharing your property!

This home was easy to get to and beautify appointed. Great space for a family or a small group with large bedrooms. All the outdoor areas were amazing. We especially enjoyed sitting on the boat dock fishing, watching football (yes the WIFI reached) and kayaking. This was our first time visiting Lake Martin and we fell in love. We would like to return again in the spring!

Spectacular views & beautiful home!
Haven on the Lake lived up to its name as it was a slice of paradise! As soon as we walked in the door you immediately noticed how immaculate and well maintained the home is. It is well furnished with extremely comfortable beds! The layout of the home is perfect for family gatherings both indoors and outdoors. You can tell that the owners take pride in their home. Absolutely gorgeous home with beautiful view! We had my family of four and our friends, family of five. Plenty of room. The king bed in the master bedroom was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! We will be going back!

Clean and Serene!
We have stayed in many rental properties for family gatherings and this home was by far one of the most clean and comfortable for our family! We had three couples and children in the home and never felt cramped. The screen porch overlooking the lake is a beautiful place for your morning coffee. We enjoyed the fire pit and our kids enjoyed playing on the sand and rocks even though the lake was low for the winter. The kitchen was nicely appointed and had everything we needed. Communication was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

Family lake trip
This is our fourth year at the lake. We usually come with a larger group and stay in a different house. This house was perfect for two families. If they added another full bath you could easily fit three families comfortably. The kitchen was updated open and very clean. The house was exceptionally clean. Would love some steps to the fire pit so you don’t have to walk in the grass.
