A warm and friendly welcome from this small family-run hotel right in the middle of Langres. Booked as a one night stopover, breaking a long drive down to the Alps. We liked the dinner we had in the restaurant, and there was a good range of options on offer at the continental breakfast the following morning too (10 euros per adult; children free). We liked being able to park the car in the walled/secure area behind the hotel. We liked the setup of the family room we had with its two adjoining bedrooms.

Two minor points.: The furniture and décor of the room were a little dated. And once or twice we could hear a little bit of noise (e.g. a flushing WC) through one of the walls.

I specially requested a large bed on booking (and was acknowledged) at but on arrival was given a room with a 4’6 double

always like coming to this quirky interesting small hotel.

Quirky well established hotel, rather than a chic modern operation, in the main street of Langres. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive, the room was comfortable and warm, and our evening meal and breakfast were very good. The hotel did everything well.

We had no complaints at all.

Lovely building in old walled town. Clean functional but fairly small room. Excellent restaurant. Parking behind the hotel with entrance at the side that appears quite quickly so drive slowly ready to turn. Booking parking in advance advised. Staff here are very friendly and helpful.

The room was very nice and big with comfortable bed. The food in the restaurant was mediocre with a very limited menu and very hurried and downright unpleasant waitress.

Location is good.

We booked this place with the thought of having easy to park. Staff said it’s ‘impossible’ to park when we rang before our arrival. Staff only speak French, we don’t. it was a hot night, and there is no aircon.

Very grateful charming old school charming French two star travel through hotels with a restaurant still exist. Thank you we had a great stay!

With summer temperatures a small ventilator / fan would be nice
