From the moment we arrived, the host was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They were always available and ready to assist with anything we needed, making our stay truly enjoyable. The apartment itself was impeccable. It was evident that the staff took great care in maintaining cleanliness and comfort. The addition of a private balcony was a lovely touch, providing a peaceful space to relax and enjoy the surrounding views. One of the highlights of this hotel was the common terrace. It was a delightful spot to unwind and soak up the atmosphere. Whether it was enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or sipping a glass of wine in the evening, the terrace offered a serene ambiance that enhanced our overall experience. Another aspect that impressed me was the well-equipped kitchen. It had everything we needed to prepare meals during our stay. The appliances were modern and functional, and the kitchen utensils were in abundance. It was a convenience that added to the overall comfort of our stay.

Overall, the accommodations were satisfactory, but there was one aspect that didn’t quite meet our expectations. The property had two bedrooms, one with twin beds and the other with a normal queen bed. While the second bedroom with the queen bed was comfortable and suitable for a couple, the first bedroom posed a slight inconvenience. The twin beds couldn’t be joined in a comfortable way, which meant that if you are traveling as a couple, you would have to sleep separately. It would have been more convenient if the twin beds could be easily converted into a double bed for couples. However, aside from this minor setback, the rest of our stay was pleasant.

The apartment was so spacious, Stefano and the other staff were kind, helpful and made the stay extra special! It’s a great spot if you have a car, easy to park and free parking right nearby. They even surprised us with a beautiful local pizza on arrival! it’s a bit of a walk to the historical part of the city but only 15 minutes.

There wasn't any pantry essentials so we weren't able to cook. No salt pepper olive oil etc which was a shame as we wanted to cook our meals. Also no chopping board etc.

Our host Stefano is an extraordinary man, always helping us in case we need it. We visited Monopoli during the winter holidays and we chose this city because it seemed to us to be the best positioned if you want to visit other sights such as Matera, Zoo safari from Fasano, Polignano, Alberobello and indeed, it was the better choice to stay in Monopoli, the city being more airy than Polignano a Mare for example. And the accommodation we chose confirmed our expectations and offered us everything we needed, proximity to the historic center, shops nearby, public parking for the rented car.

Sometimes it is more difficult to find a free parking space, but in the end you still find it.

We were welcomed enthusiastically by the host Stefano. We stayed in a nice, spacious and very clean apartment on the ground floor. Situated close to the old town. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicacies we got from Stefano. He’s a top host. A coffee at his office/roof terrace and a little chat is part of it. We had a very good stay at DomusApuliae. We would definitely recommend staying here.

The apartment was suberb, very modern and very well fitted out in a convenient location close to the centro historico. The owners were wonderfully helpful and friendly hosts. In fact, they were so ggod, I think they should be ambassadors for Puglia Tourism. If I needed to grade this property, and taking into account cleanliness, convenience and service I would award it eleven points out of ten. Could not fault it, and I will definitely be back. I liked everything about this apartment

All I can say is WOW!!! I stayed here for six nights in July with my mom and it was simply perfection! Stefano and Tomasso were the most wonderful hosts and made us feel like family! Our experience staying here was phenomenal and we were very sad we didn't stay longer. Stefano takes the best care of his guests, gives great restaurant recommendations, and helped us with transportation around Puglia. We really appreciated the breakfast tart Stefano provided as all the shops were closed when we arrived. The apartment was immaculately clean and we felt very safe staying there. We left feeling like we now have friends in Monopoli, and can't wait to stay here again during our next trip!

We stayed there for a week and my family had an unforgetable and exceptional vacation. The apartment was all clean, super clean. What you see is what you get. And the hosts were so kind and approachable. Perfect base/location if you want to visit around Puglia. Lots of stores and resto nearby. And just a walk to reach the city centre. And there is no parking fee along the streets of the apartment.

It is very close to every important things. Shops, beach, center, old-city, restaurants, train station. The apartman is very clean, well equipped, oven, washing machine, we found everything we need. Our hosts are really kind, warm welcome, reachable all the time if we have any questions.

Everything was wonderful! Stefano is really very hospitable and friendly. A pie was waiting for us as a gift upon arrival - it's very nice) Stefano was always worried about whether everything was fine with us and took us to the station goodbye. The apartments are spacious, clean, and bright. Convenient location near the train station, comfortable for traveling around the region. It is also not far to walk to the city center. The apartment we stayed in was great, it was big and cozy, clean, had lots of light and was equipped with everything you might need. The bedrooms were big and the mattress very comfortable. What we also loved was the balcony; it went around the whole apartment which was situated on a corner. You could see the very nice streets of Monopoli and it’s great people. The location of the apartment was perfect, across the street having the best place to get some delicious Italian sandwiches and 2 minutes away having an amazing foccaceria, where we ate the best deserts in Monopoli. If you are not in love with Italian food and you are here for the sea, this still is the best place you can rent as closest beach is at just 6 minutes walk. I can tell that for sure as we went to that beach which is a wilder beach. We also went to another beach which is 12 minutes away by foot which has lounge chairs and a restaurant. If all this would not convince you to stay here, here comes the best part: the host is by far the greatest host I ever met. Stefano made us feel as friends and not just guests. He waited for us with wine and cake, he not only suggested us restaurants to go to, but came with us to show us the places, took us to the beach, helped us with any kind of information we needed and made us want to go visit him every year if not more often.

The host is amazing! With the apartment you are not only booking an accommodation, but the true monopoli experience. The apartment itself is clean, spacious and has everything you need. The host is super super kind and even picked us up from the train station. Also he knows a lot of places where to go to and the people running those places. He even drove us even to one boat rental company which was slightly remote.

The location is great, a few minutes walk to the center but not in the noisy and crowded part of it -.Monopoli can be very noisy and if you travel with children it can be a problem at night, but at Domus Apuliae it was wonderful. Also it's very close to a few supermarkets and a children's playground. Building is great, old and romantic but with brand new renovations, a very useful elevator, a terrace on top. The apartment we stayed in was at the first floor, with a very nice balcony all around it that you can access from literally all of the apartment. All the fittings are new, kitchen is well equipped, all windows open both vertically and horizontally, there are blinds at all windows, beds are very comfortable, storage space is enough, bathroom is brand new. Air conditioning in the entire house, heating in the bathroom. The host was absolutely wonderful, giving us advice for various things like where to park, where to eat, what to visit etc but also doing everything and beyond in order to help us with a medical problem we had with our child (explained to us about the hospitals in the area, even arranged for us to have a private doctor's visit at the accomodation). A truly helpful and kind host. We highly recommend the place for all the reasons above, but a special mention goes to the host's character and personality. It's a great place for every kind of travel, we travelled as a family so we can particularly confirm it is wonderful for families.

We're travelling with a 3 years old child with some allergies, so we can be picky sometimes when it comes to accomodations, but there's really nothing we didn't like.

The 2bdr apartment was amazing and very clean. Great location, close to the city center with great restaurants and bars as well as to the train station, which offers a great variety to day trips around like Polignano a mare (5min), Ostuni (15min), Bari (25min) and Lecce (~1h) - all worth a visit. The bus that takes you to Alborabello village (a must visit in the region) is just 2 min walk distance from the train station. Monopoli old city center is the best among many cities around. On a good weather, one can witness amazing sunset on the next street near by the apt, we named it little "Miami beach" street 😁. The owner was very friendly, always available to assist on any question we had. The building has 5 apartments which offers a great place if travelling with a bigger company. On the roof, there is a big terrace that can be used for evening drinks or morning coffees. Strongly recommend it and definetly will be our place to stay should we decide to visit the region again.

WiFi could be better, however it turned to be an advantage rather than a disadvantage for us as the entire family was limited in spending their time online and we were forced in having kind of high tech detox and spend more quality time within the family. 😅

- Apartment clean, well furnished and with all the equipment you may need. - Few minutes walk from city center in a quiet area, we didn't hear noises at all even when were repairing the street nearby. - Hospitality and friendliness of hosts is impeacable - all you may need to make your staying smooth you can contact them. - Restaurant and groceries nearby with friendly and welcome people. - Beach Pantano, Radha, Susca and Cave Ferrarichio few minutes by walk or bus number 1/2 for beaches on south side 1.1€ ticket/person. - Hosts might have availability of transfers to cities nearby, worth to check it.
