the balcony and the view, constantly hearing the sea was magnificent. the apartment was spacious if a little dated but it suited us and we will be back.

all the steps but that comes with age and creaking joints.

Fabulous location. El medano is a lovely resort. Lots of great restaurants and cafes. The beaches are on your doorstep and everywhere is child friendly.

Rooms are a bit tired but we had everything we needed and it was clean.

The location is perfect. The Manager Johanna was very helpful. Her willingness to facilitate our request for extra time in the apartment was very much appreciated. Requested extra towels and they arrived next morning.

The apartment is very sparsely furnished and as we're an elderly couple we could have done with a bit more comfort. The bizarre layout of apartment 2 is a joke. You can see from the kitchen into the bathroom. I have never seen clear glass in a bathroom.. You would want to be close with whoever you are sharing the apartment with.

Location was good and central. Johanna greeted us for check in, and and was on hand by message if I had a question. The bed was comfortable. The apartment was clean but the building is in need of some renovations.

The apartment block is quite noisy, other guests seem incapable of closing a door without slamming it!

The location is fantastic but the views out to sea are just beautiful for sun rise to sun set

Great location, overlooking the beach. Comfortable, clean apartment. Lovely place to stay for a holiday. Owner was communicative and helpful. We stayed in apartment no 5 which has a lovely private balcony.

Facilities and apartment were great. There appeared to be a slight leak developing in the bathroom but it was not problematic and was just a small maintenance/re-sealing issue

Great location, short walk to centre and straight on the beach. Key hand-over with key lock is great and cleaners were friendly when we dropped off our bags before they were finished. Owner communicated well with us. Internet worked well. The building has great security.

We had stayed in this building before but a different apartment. At that time (over 3 years ago), the kitchen had no hot water, so the only way to do the dishes was to boil the kettle. We were told that this was to be "fixed" in due course. This time we were one floor down and unfortunately the same happened. No hot water in either sink (only in the shower). The apartment is really tired, sockets hanging out of the walls, light switches have bits missing. Bed linen was coarse. It's such a lovely location but it really needs a lot of upgrading. The fridge also didn't close right.

Location could not get any better than this, right on the beach, easy to get to shops in town and easy to get to the wind/kitesurf spots of the bay also

Building itself is very... tired, and in need of work. Cabinet doors in the kitchen almost fell off when opened - just needs someone to spend some attention on Wind howls into the bedroom window that does not close well - someone has packed it with paper but needs some proper attention

The location of the apartments is unbeatable. They are right at the beach and have an uninterrupted view of the sea. I have stayed in the same apartment twice before, and I wanted to come back. The balcony looks directly on to the sea and has a wonderful view of Montaña Roja. The sound of the waves is very relaxing. The apartments are only a few minutes walk from most restaurants, bars and shops, but the area is generally quiet and also peaceful at night. My apartment was very clean, as always, and had a lovely sitting room and a kitchen with everything you need. Johanna, the host/manager, is very welcoming, friendly and helpful, and will happily respond to any messages to help with anything. I will certainly be back again 😊

The location is brilliant right on the beach you can hear the waves constantly. It's close to the town centre and restaurants and it's still quiet and pleasant. The host was very efficient and always replied promptly with any questions or queries we had.

Tidy and perfectly located apartment with a stunning sea view. The beach and the town center with shops and restaurants are at the tip of your fingers.

Nothing that would make me not want to come back. Some facilities are old and battered, however everything works good, no complains, and the place has a great atmosphere also because of its oldfashionness. Wouldn't change much. Maybe a bit less bouncy mattress in the master bedroom would be a nice improvement.

Johanna was very nice, however the apartment I booked was an older one and had not been used for a while, I got a second round of cleaning after I talked to Johanna which was very nice and was able to take a look at the other apartments, much nicer than #3

location top for both family or windsurfers that needs to reach the rentals/gear depots nearby. Nice big apartment with two bedroom perfect for a family of 4. Kitchen is fully equipped. Terrace is great and offer a beautiful view.

The location was great, with the view of the ocean so you could just open your door and you saw the whole beautiful view. The host was also great and helpful. There were enough facilities to prepare breakfasts on your own.

The bathroom needs some renovation.

The view from both the bedroom and living room of No 5 was straight out to see. We went to sleep and woke to the sound of the waves. The balcony got sun til about 3. the apartment is above the boardwalk and less than a minute walk to the cafés shops along the front. No 5 apartment was spacious.

The shower cubicle was a bit small in a large bathroom. but there was loads of hot water and it was ok. the skirting could do with a lick of paint.

You get a really fantastic view, electric power, running water and you don't get wet in the night.

location location location. The (shared) balcony is idyllic. it was quiet and comfortable and clean

it is outdated and basic. the shower disintegrated on first use, the layout of these properties is bizarre, bedrooms with no windows or natural light. clean but in need of modernisation. Wi-Fi was intermittent at best and didn’t work in the bedrooms.

Amazing location and beautiful balcony. Everything in walking distance. Large apartment that comfortably slept a family (2 bedrooms and one on the couch). Reasonable kitchen facilities (fridge, stove hob and crockery etc) - stove hob slightly convoluted to operate but works fine.

Security gates feel secure but need keys to open at top and bottom stairs. Unfortunately we only had one set of keys after prev tenants misplaced second set which made leaving the house tricky. Water pressure in shower not great and made washing off sand tricky. Tiled everywhere so with young children, need to be a bit careful. Would still recommend the stay - location is unbeatable and spacious apartment made for a comfortable stay
