AWESOME!! Absolutely gorgeous house with a spectacular view!!! So many amenities-there was nothing we needed. Bob made us feel like we were family. We had fires every night, made s’mores and watched the moon rise. Many activities nearby-boating, hiking, wine tours, shopping, golfing. Perfect for large families. Fantastic trip!!!

We had a wonderful time! The house was exactly what we needed. The host was very accommodating and even came to the house within 5 minutes of the propane tank dying on the grill with a new one so we could finish grilling our dinner! Would definitely be back. Thank you for everything!

The house was immaculate and well stocked! Top of the line kitchenware all the way down to small details like “Michigan” coffee mugs and glass ware! The house is so close to the Glacial Hills bike/walking path right out of the back yard-no traveling to get on it! Beautiful fire pit with wood and chairs provided. Tons of board games and corn hole. We were amazed at all of the little touches that really made our stay enjoyable!

We really enjoyed staying at this property for our family summer vacation. We had relatives from Florida, North Carolina, and Ohio. This property offered convenient location to the airport (Traverse City) and the wonderful little town of Bellaire. We enjoyed good restaurants, refreshing walks on the trails, plenty of site-seeing, and fun on Torch Lake and Lake Bellaire. We brought our boat with us and there was plenty of room to park it at the house when we weren’t out of the beautiful lakes. The house itself had plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms for everyone in our family. We especially enjoyed the outdoor deck and fire pit, as well as the spectacular view from this house high above nearby Bellaire. We highly recommend this property and may be interested in renting it again in the future.

We had a total of 8 adults and 6 children ranging from 6 months to 67 ..... Fun time had by all. Beautiful house. Very clean. Enough room. Kitchen well stocked. Lots of towels. Great area.... Beach fun, shorts brewery for dinner one night.... And we put kiddie pools on the deck for the little ones. Close to golf courses for dads. Would highly recommend.

We stayed here the past three nights and loved the house! Thank you to the owners for a great experience! The view from the first floor kitchen/family room area and huge deck was amazing! So beautiful and peaceful. We all agreed it felt like a mountain view in TN which I didn't know existed in Michigan. The hiking trails on property were so convenient and fun to explore. The house had 7 different sleeping areas which was great for our three families to be able to have enough space. We loved how well stocked with essentials the house was. We have stayed at many vacation houses over the years and this was the best stocked with things in case we needed anything. There were tons of towels and blankets. The family room tv was huge. The property was so quiet and peaceful. The kitchen had every type of dish and utensil you could think of! Many houses we've been to just had the bare minimal, so this was great. We couldn't have asked for more. We went to Charlevoix one day around 40 minutes away and Petoskey was closer to 55 minutes. Fun to explore those areas. Torch Lake was about 20 minutes away. Highly recommend this house as none of us had one bad thing to say. We loved our stay there!

This home was comfortable and very well stocked. We truly brought more than we needed, which was a relief. Plenty of towels and the kitchen even had spices and an instapot. Plenty of room for the doggies to run around and it’s on top of a hill so the view was spectacular. Everyone had their own space and we felt comfortable with the 2 younger boys (4 and 5) playing all over the house.

We have an annual ski trip at Shanty Creek every winter for about 20 friends. This house has been awesome to accommodate us for the last two years. It’s close to downtown and about 15 min from the ski hill.
Management has always been easy to get in touch with for requests and questions. We highly recommend this property.

This house had it all! Enough bathrooms, dining table large enough for our whole group, and space enough for alone time. The kitchen was so well stocked, there was nothing we needed or could have thought of wanting. The view was spectacular. The property was dog friendly, not just that we could bring them, but there was space for them to play.

Our group of 10 had a great time. Fantastic house with tons of amenities and space. The was a whole other living room and kitchen downstairs that we did not even use. We loved it!

This house had everything you could ever need to entertain a group of people! There was also plenty of space for everyone to have their own area but also gather all together in the common areas without it feeling crowded. The owners were super communicative and nice! Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a place to host a family trip!

Bob and Amy have a fantastic place that was spacious and beautifully decorated for the holidays! They provided lots of information about what to explore in Bellaire and have things to do on the property as well. Additionally, the hosts were so kind with handling an issue my group had. Would be excited to stay here for another trip!

We loved our weekend at this cozy, family friendly home that accommodated four generations ages 18 months to 81. We had space to relax and the layout accommodated all 14 of us with beds/bedrooms, bathrooms, dining, and gathering for conversation and games. We made a complete Thanksgiving dinner in the well stocked kitchen, including a large assortment of pots, pans, casserole dishes, utensils, spices, garbage bags, paper towels, and more. I have never been to a VRBO that was stocked so well. There was even a separate roaster for the turkey. The fact that our Old English Sheepdog could join us was fantastic too. The Christmas tree and decorations just added to the homey atmosphere when we had our early Christmas exchange. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely rental home!

My husband and I got married in Central Lake and we wanted a nice place for our bridal party to stay with us to celebrate together. The house was spacious to accommodate our large number of guests and the esthetics made it easy to relax. The garage was a perfect place to hang out and play games. We had such a great time!

This property was beyond anything we could have hoped for. Plenty of space for our large family and friends. Star gazing at night to beautiful sunrises in the morning. We shared this property with 3 other couples for a boating vacation. Our home away from home was located close to several lakes we wanted to cruise and enjoy, as well as being part of a cute small community. Couldn't have been happier with our choice.

This place is awesome for a family vacation. We had two one year olds and eight adults. The house is spacious and well set up. Morning sunrises on the deck were thoroughly enjoyed. The kitchen is well set up for cooking meals. Having a washer/dryer set up was a plus. I would definitely recommend this place to others. Stargazing around the firepit at night was amazing. The location is very convenient to multiple areas.

Great place for a big group. We were looking for a place the whole family could meet and stay at for a week in the summer. It was perfect! Lots of places to sleep and enough bathrooms no one had to wait. There are two gathering areas so people are free to do what they like. Close to so many things to do and see. My favorite part was that the Glacial Hills Trail was accessible from behind the house.

The house is even nicer in person. The house was VERY well stocked with things needed. The owners were very helpful and responded quickly to answer any questions and/or concerns. The views are outstanding. Highly recommend staying here.

This wonderful home was perfect for our group of three families with 5 adults and 6 kids (ages 12-21). There were ample options for sleeping, and having three plus bathrooms was great with all the teenagers! The pool table was a hit with the kids. The deck offered amazing views and a great place to relax. One night we even stayed out to look for shooting stars - between the fireflies in the trees to the nighttime sky, it was magical! The kitchen was fantastic and made it easy to feed our group all week long. Loved the surrounding forests and being close to so many area attractions. The window A/C units kept us comfortable even on very hot days. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful house! We had 8 adults and 5 kids (10 and under). The house was very clean and well stocked! Lots of room for our family. Kids loved the yard for playing wiffle ball every night. All the beds were comfortable and there were lots of towels. The view was beautiful and we loved the privacy. Lakes were close by for boating. I really loved everything about it!

Our stay was amazing!! The house was clean and it had everything we needed as a large group. The home was stocked with so many towels and extra blankets and they had lots of games too! The view from the deck is so amazing, I wish we could’ve had more time out there! A great home base for our wedding weekend, we will definitely be back!

Golf trip
We absolutely loved this house for our golf trip. We had 12 guys and we were still able to spread out and be comfortable. Bob, the owner, kept in contact with us when a bad storm hit the area causing the electricity to go out. We can’t wait to come back next year for our next golf trip:)

Ski Trip
This house has everything that you need and very close to the ski hills. We had 20 people and it didn’t feel like it because the house is so spacious. Robert is wonderful and responds very timely to anything that you need. I would come back here every year!

Family Winter Get Away
This place was everything we were looking for in a place for our entire family to stay and hang together. This home had everything we needed and more to prepare meals, sleep and play. We all enjoyed a wonderful weekend gathering inside the home and the ski hill was near enough for many to enjoy time at Schuss Mountain. The space was nice that everyone had room to do their own thing or cones together as a family. Love this place.

House is in a great location. Close to town, the slopes and grocery store. The size of the house and setup was perfect for our large group. We will definitely be staying again next year.
