I wasn't made aware of the process to collect the key from the host. I thought i'll collect at reception (like you do at a hotel); however the watsapp correspondence with host was fantastic and i was attended to immediately. No hassles.

The apartment was clean and had a wonderful view of table Mountain. Well situated and secure. Close to restaurants and well looked after. We enjoy the apartment itself.
A late checkin fee was not disclosed up until the time you paid. After payment the host had quite an elaborate scale for a late check in. No problem paying a fee if it is known before you pay a non refundable booking. We were a few hours late due to the flight into Cape Town.
R2000 was asked for a breakage deposit but no inventory list was provided so you are at risk that the host could indicate something is broken or missing when it was never there. The deposit was asked for 3 times in each message and we did not enjoy the checkin and check out process. One of the less smooth experiences we have had.

the tiles at the complex on its own need to be changed no ways they have those kind of tiles that are extremely slippery and can cause serious injuries

The host was not so friendly. We had a problem with our banking app and asked to go to the nearby mall to withdraw the breakage fee and she was rude telling us that we knew that we had to pay and she was waiting for us the whole day to check in but her checkin time is 14:00-18:00 and we arrived around 14:30. Our day was just ruined but overall the stay was great.

We stayed here in October 2022 and absolutely LOVED staying here! I would highly recommend to anyone who loves being by the sea and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are loads of restaurants to chose from ie. BLUE PETER for sun downers and there is a co-working space in the shopping mall in front of the complex if needed.
The rooms were beautifully decorated and the apartment was filled with enough to make it feel like a "home away from home" but not too much to make the space feel crowed.
Unfortunately due to SA having load shedding issues, this upsets the technology (ie wifi) in the apartment. However, the property manager was a legend and sorted this issues ASAP to the best of her ability. Other than that, there was no other issues we faced.

The views and proximity to everything
The lifts were broken and we had to use the stairs, but I understand it;s a body corporate problem

The fact that we had our own space and privacy. The place was clean well equipped with everything we need to use.
The staff was friendly and accomodating.
