Room excellent, Staff excellent, Breakfast excellent, all the facilities are excellent, in fact it is hard to fault the Hotel Avalon. The breakfast is amazing, lunch is not required lol. All the staff are very professional and helpful, as British visitors we had to ask for assistance and it was brilliant.
The only things I would advise on is that: on arrival it would be good if everything that they tell you at reception was also printed. There is a lot to take in and remember. The other thing is the Car Parking which can be frustrating. There are only a few spaces out the back of the hotel. There are a load of spaces in an underground car park under the hotel, however to use this facility one has to pay 15 Euros Per Night!

The management and ownership of this hotel gets it. The hotel was beautifully designed, very comfortable and they thought about everything. Other hotel owners should visit this hotel to understand modern comfort and hospitality. We really loved everything about it. Safe garage at a fee, wonderful breakfast on the top floor of the hotel with inside and outside seating. We enjoyed the breakfast outside and the views were breathtaking. The breakfast was the best we had on our 16 day trip. Delicious coffee from a machine, great selection. The hotel is across from the railway station. We were offered free tickets to Salzburg and to Berchtesgaden. We wanted to see the Eagles Nest however not enough time in the afternoon. We should be back to do that as a dat trip and we will stay again in this wonderful hotel.
Everthing was perfect. I stayed about 3.5 verifiable years at Marriott properties plus all the other hotels/resorts we stayed and I have seen many hotels. My wife and I both loved this hotel.

We booked 1 Junior Suite and 1 Deluxe Junior Suite. Junior Suite was stylish and the bathroom was very big.
At the checkin, one room was ready a bit after checkin time but sparkling wine was offered. During the stay, we had an issue with the staff which required an involvement of the hotel manager. After the checkout, the hotel director contacted me and managed well. So it was resolved.

The benifit of this hotel is that it really takes care of it's guests @ want them to be happy, to feel at home @ to come back. I also liked the modern design made with love @ the great breakfast.

The hotel exceeded expectations and pleasantly surprised. The hotel is new, modern and very comfortable. Spacious room, everything is thought out for the convenience of the guests. many nice little things. The suite has its own kitchen, ironing board, iron, bathrobes! There is also a coffee machine. Probably the best breakfast ever. Internet is great! Very nice staff, there were no issues with check-in and accommodation. Thank you so much for your hospitality! Next time we will only stay in Avalon.

Amazing views from the breakfast terrace. Very good breakfast until 11am so you can relax in the morning. New furniture and bedding, everything is super clean and modern decorated. Amazing shower. 👏

We really enjoyed our short stay at the hotel, it was clean n comfortable with an awesome breakfast n super friendly and forthcoming staff.
The room felt a little congested as compared to the pics..
