The condo was as-advertised.
Great location, clean, functional. I didn’t want to give an overall bad review because the condo owners have a nice place.
Some things were a bit older and could use an update, but it was an overall good space. As other reviewers said, the back rooms are hot, even in milder summer temperatures, because the AC doesn’t reach them well.
We could walk or drive easily to many things, and the kids loved the pool and nearby swings.
Communication with Vacasa, however, was bad. We got the code to get in OK, but everything else was an issue.
They had posted a letter in tiny print on the door, half covered by a wreath, that said we shouldn’t drink the water or use it to brush our teeth. No other notes about the water were anywhere in the house, and no large receptacles were left for us to collect the water that the resort gave out by the pool via water coolers. We had to go buy bottled water and keep returning to fill up our bottles so that we could brush our teeth and have drinking water.
There also weren’t any welcome packets on how to use anything but wireless in the condo. We didn’t know how to access the pool and called Vacasa. They were nice but clueless and disconnected to the property. They gave us wrong info, which kept us from using the pool until we did more research on our own.
With other rentals, you are able to talk to actual people who know the property if you have questions or issues. I recommend the condo but not Vacasa.

No potable water. We were told we could come get water at business office or the pool area. Business office was closed. Pool site RAN OUT OF WATER. Tried communicating to Vasca the management company who just responded with computer generated messages. No water was ever provided to us. Completely unacceptable in every way. Tennis courts are unplayable- they have huge cracks and weeds growing out of them.

We had a great long weekend trip to Stowe. Was excited to see some snow in the forecast and be able to sit by the fireplace but when we checked in there was a red note taped to the fireplace saying “leaking gas valve”. Obviously we didn’t try to use it and reached immediately out to Vacasa for an update. They didn’t have one and said they would get back to us. Two days in to our trip I asked again if the fireplace would be fixed during our stay and they said no, offering a very small refund for our inconvenience. They also made note to say they do inspections prior to a visitors check in but clearly that didn’t happen in this instance. It was very disappointing to not be able to use this amenity during our stay as it is a winter time rental and something we looked for when booking our weekend vacation. The condo was very clean and fully stocked outside of the fireplace issue we had a nice time.

Very clean home. Comfortable mattress (memory foam). Easy in and out to the unit even with clunky ski boots on. The pool is heated and just across the parking lot. They provided some extras like laundry soap for the in-home washer dryer. Easy check in and check out with no surprises. The gas fireplace is also a great touch. Would definitely stay here again!

This condo was perfect for our family of 6! Our kids loved the bunk room and the bed in the master suite was super comfortable. Great views of the mountains, across the parking lot from the pool, close to town, walk to the Alchemist brewery. Plenty of seating at kitchen table and on large comfy couch. Plenty of extra blankets and towels. Only complaint was that there weren’t any coffee filters and WiFi signal was weak, but those were very minor issues.

First, the condo itself was really nice, well appointed, clean and nicely located.
But we had an issue with the promised Internet, which was very weak and intermittent. When help was contacted, direct questions were not answered and no solution was offered. Eventually some financial compensation was offered. It turns out that we were not interacting with the owner or the local resort that the condo was part of, but a 3rd party management corporation. This was much less satisfactory than our previous experiences with similar condos that were managed by the resort. A couple of other minor issues also resulted in a similar lack of response. We would not knowingly rent from this management group again.

First impressions were disappointing. Many items need repair, the air conditioner does not cool the bedrooms even using multiple fans. Blinds and other items need repair. Beds and sofas were comfortable. Kitchen is adequately stocked except there were no dish towels. Washer and dryer in unit is a plus!!!

Had 6 friends stay for a ski weekend and had a great time! Walkable to The Alchemist brewery and other bars and restaurants too. Had some trouble with the hot water but I’m pretty sure it was user error lol

Unfortunately our condo didn’t have hot water for the entire stay. No one could shower or do dishes. There was also an alarm going off in the utility closet all night.

Very convenient to bars restaurants and skiing. Very clean and well kept. More room than what it appears via the pictures. Only complaint was that we could never get the fireplace to go on.

Loved the location...that is a 5 star, but the unit needs some maintenance. Broken sliding door, broken blinds in bedroom, slow drain in bathroom, one toilet did not flush well, ac so loud you could not have it on and watch TV and it did not cool the bedroom. Deck and view were fantastic and the unit had a good layout.

This condo is located very centrally to shops and restaurants in Stowe, as well as the recreation path. The condo has everything you need for the stay. The beds are fairly comfortable, and we especially liked that the cookware is All Clad (usually rental properties have very cheap cookware). We had an issue with the oven/stove that was quickly addressed. My only two critiques are that the bath towels are tiny (bring your own for adults) and the A/C unit was left off when we arrived. It was close to 100 degrees that day and took nearly a full day to cool down the unit with the A/C and fans. It would have been nice to have someone turn on the unit before we arrived.

got fixed on our weekend stay, refrigerated foods we brought went bad, they said they will give us a partial credit. So far no credit but have another charge on account. Will not use them again

The property was very clean and inviting! Beautifully decorated and plenty of towels and extra bedding. We loved sitting in the deck with our morning coffee and even saw a bear in the parking lot below!😳 our only complaint is that the ceiling fan in the master had no switch so we couldn’t use it unless the light was in and the a/c didn’t reach the bedrooms all too well so they were hot! (There we’re plenty of other fans but it was still warm! ) we will definitely return!!!

Had a great time in Stowe at this ski condo. Very clean and well maintained, with up-to-date appliances. Comfy couch too!

Great Location
Loved this location. It was close to great eateries and tap rooms as well as prime hiking locations. The recreation trail is super close as was Cady Hill. We could ride to easy path riding or world class mountain biking all from the unit. Every morning we enjoyed coffee and every evening a drink on the fantastic deck. This was our second time renting this exact unit.

Great stay!
We've stayed in this condo a few times over the years, but this was the first time we stayed there in the summer -- so we got to enjoy the covered deck and proximity to the recreation paths for the first time. It made us like this condo even more. It's in a great location, the unit is clean and spacious, and the kitchen has everything you need. I recommend it.

Exactly how pictures look
The property was very nice and everything was exceptionally clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything that you needed to make your stay complete. Overall was very impressed with the property and would definitely stay here again. It is very close to everything you need and no major problems

Stowe
The property was fine. there were a few glitches in the condo. The remotes did not work for the heat or the fireplace, windows were almost impossible to open, no fan in one of the bathrooms, and the screen door on the slider was pretty shot. These are minor, but bear mentioning.
There was not a lot of information about the condo area. There was no code for the pool/spa area, had to go to the office to figure out how to get in. The instructions for the place did not say where to take garbage or recyclables.
