Upon arrival, with a confirmed booking, no one was at home. Called owner who told us he was in Pamplona?! and he would be cancelling our booking. I would advise against booking here.

Fascinating historical property with the most attentive of hosts. the room we had had been fitted out to the highest spec. we have now stayed in 8 places in the Pyrenees and this is the best. would like to come back for longer. interesting art. excellent breakfast.

Very friendly and helpful host. Great location on Eurovelo 1 if you are trying to cross the Pyrenees by bike. Wonderful palace. It was a real privilege to be able to stay there. Huge room with lovely terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens. Excellent breakfast. There is a local restaurant in the village.

A kettle in the room so we could make tea would have been nice.

The owner of this stunning originally medieval property was welcoming and eager to give us information about the area. In addition, before we left, the owner gave us a very interesting tour of the house, which is full of antiques and records of his family from 14th Navarre, but with some modern touches.

As the property is opposite the square there was a little bit of people noise, but it soon became quiet.
