Great location right on the river just a mile from Rudesheim but much quieter and with parking right outside.

From past experience staying here the standard rooms are small. An inexpensive upgrade to a superior room is advisable. We stayed in room 25 with views directly over the river.

The room was a good size and situated at the back it as very quiet and had a beautiful view of the terraced vineyards. Easy off street parking. The restaurant was very good.

Very nice staff, so clean. Lg breakfast. Balcony room with views of the Rhine and Castles. Adjustable beds, to raise your head or feet. 5 min drive to boat cruise and Christmas Markets. But out of all the traffic and noise. A Gem.

Fabulous location fronting the Rhein but away from the tourist bustle. spotlessly clean, well managed and with a great restaurant and breakfast. some hotel parking and short train hop to R-am-Rhein

further from Rüdesheim than expected we dislike carpet in hotel rooms - particularly red shag! never seems to be clean.

Great location … avoid the traffic and take the scenic lift to and from Rudesheim. Super staff, great meals, rooms are spacious, well furnished (we even had extra chairs!) and everything worked … including the coffee maker.

We didn’t get to stay long enough!

Standard room was extra large, all staff exceptionally helpful, well lit (best we had in Germany) with great breakfast buffet. Cleaned and refreshed room each day. Very quiet room. Minutes walk from the Rhine Boat and train station. The restaurant was excellent for dinners.

The hotel was recently renovated, so the facilities were up to date and clean. The airconditioning worked very good. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Having dinner on the terrace was nice.

The wifi could have been faster (max 20 Mbps).

Nice, clean and cosy family owned hotel. We stayed here for a few nights so we could discover the region. We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality, friendliness and service level of the staff. Our room was big and we had a lovely view of the Rhein. They were also very considerate of dietary restrictions and provided a gluten-free breakfast every morning. This hotel is located in cosy but small village Assmannshausen, which is a 5 minute drive from the busier Rüdesheim-am-Rhein village centre. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice and relaxing place to stay in the Rüdesheim am Rhein area.

Completely satisfied with our stay at the hotel. We have stayed before and will stay again if visiting this area. The food we had, both breakfast and dinner was very good and the owner provided us with secure parking for our motorcycle 👍. If you are planning motorcycle tour near the Rhine, then stay here.

Breakfast and evening meal good. Good location. whilst not having a river view we had a side room from where if standing by it we could see the river and some vineyards

The initial greeting by the person on duty was not particularly welcoming but other staff made up for his lack of welcome.

Noise from Railway

Lovely hotel along the Rhine River. The staff was excellent. Very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good as well. The rooms though bit dated were well maintained, clean and had comfy beds. Got free parking at the hotel as well. Would highly recommend the place.

Not much. Just may be a kettle and a bottle of water in the room would be good.

The location and the view of the Rhein… The personnel and room accommodations were spectacular, the premium room with the large balcony and a wonderful view . It was simply magical. The room was spacious. Great size bathroom and shower as well. The cuisine at the Restaraunt was delicious and the breakfast was good. However, the menu is somewhat limited, as we had dinner at the hotel every night during out 5 night stay.

Very good breakfast and the location was convenient. Staff very friendly, room was brand new renovation and exceptionally clean.
