Hearty breakfast. Spacious room/bathroom. Nice bar area with good selection of drinks. Stay was good value for money. Free parking was a bonus.

Great location for those wanting to travel across various parts of Cornwall. The rooms have clearly had a bit of a redecorate recently too which made it feel fresh
There was no pressure in the shower at all, with water coming out like a trickle. We attempted to report this back but noone was around to feedback to. The curtains were also so thin that they were borderline pointless, so we were woken at around 4:30 when the sun came up.
When sitting down for breakfast we were lefting waiting for a while until the rather frantic chef had to come out to hand up menus and told us the waiter hadn't shown up that morning. She took our orders and did her best to make up for the lack of staff but it was clear she was busy. When we came to check out there was noone at the front desk, so we had to just leave a note and the key and leave.
All in all, I was really disapointed at the service and standard we got for the money that we paid, and as such, I don't think we'd stay there again

The staff were always happy and helpful. had one meal from carvery and that was very good and good value. The only other meal was breakfast that we had every morning and this was very good too.

Noisy A30 to the front, industrial estate to the rear, tatty frontage, peeling grout in the bathroom, inhospitable owner / general manager (unclear which applied), so unwelcoming we had to go elsewhere to eat.

The on-site restaurant is exceptional and we used it for breakfast and evening meals, all meals were well worth the price we paid.
The room price was expensive for what is nothing more than a run-down Travelodge.

Clearly the property is in process of being upgraded as evidenced in the bedrooms. The dining area is currently a bit tired but the food and staff were great and that is what is important.

Staff very friendly. This room did exactly what we needed, a stop-over on the way back from Penzance. Perfect poached eggs for breakfast too!

The Staff were lovely and the food was good.
In general, it was fine - the bedroom smelt a bit damp, and was rather scruffy. My main issue was that the mattress was incredibly uncomfortable and slopes so far to the edge. I ended up having to stuff one of my pillows under it at the side of the bed to be able to sleep. It really needs replacing.

You walk in and the first thing you can smell is carvery. I loved every minute. The staff were welcoming and accommodating

Conveniently located for onward travel. Bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit dated but clean and functional and shower gels etc were provided which I wasn’t expecting. Also good tea and coffee making facilities..with a cafetière. The one exceptional point was the staff..when we arrived we were wet and tired ..they had the last serving in the evening but happily provided a sandwich at no charge. Breakfast started promptly at 7am and again the staff were friendly and happy to alter set breakfast menu to suit. Plenty of parking.
The bathroom was a bit cramped and dated..but clean and functional.

when i reported about a glass getting broken in the bathroom, when i got back to room after a day out there was still a few shards of glass on floor and also a piece on carpet just outside bathroom.

Convenient location for trips around Cornwall, ample parking, clean room and very good breakfast.
Our bed was a bit lumpy which put a damper on the experience a bit.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Dinner was OK (but could do with less salt). Room was comfortable, but little tired; very soft bed and some mould in bathroom. Shower produced just a trickle. Location of hotel was very good for our plan to cycle West Kernow Way with start and finish in Redruth.
Breakfast was disappointing, unimaginative and overpriced. There is no fixed amount for breakfast, so you pay £2 for small packet of serial, £2.50 for small glass of non-fresh orange juice and £7 for 3 very small pancakes. And why no yoghurt, no muesli, no granola, no fruit? It would be much better if the hotel adopts a fixed price for breakfast (like nearly everywhere else) and starts offering something more imaginative than the usual sausages and beans.
