It is in need of serious renovation. Smells old.

the location right next to the river , the room was pretty in an old fashioned way

when we arrived ( via key box code) we thought the place was deserted and a bit weird as the entrance was full of boxes and shelves. next morning we found out it was also a shop selling ecological goods, which explained it.

Beautiful old hotel

Room was dusty and not so clean

The hotel was easy to find and very welcoming. It's great to have an accommodation in Kisa. We were greatly surprised of the little grocery-shop inside the entrance with the shared-reception. The bathroom in our room was completely new renovated and looked very up to date.

The interior seems older than expected, but it fulfilled our needs. The downside of the shared reception with the grocery-store was for us, that we did not know where to go, in case of questions. Our shower in the room was cold (~20°C - not completely cold, but not enjoyable) - after a day of 70km cycling we forced ourselves under it. We didn't know where to complain. The breakfast was fine, but no staff around to ask any questions or (see above). We didn't know where to check-out, so we left the key on a table at the entrance hall - other guests seemed to have the same struggle regarding this question.

Good but not excessive breakfast. Good location. Very friendly staff. Calm and with an atmosphere of history and culture. Nice beds. Everything you need.
