The location was amazing. We had delicious breakfast and dinner daily at the property and the dinners were 5* and really gourmet food.

There were only 2 small negatives. More than 2 towels would have been great and there was no mirror with seating and lighting for my wife to do her makeup.

What a wonderful stay and the views are just absolutely amazing. Between our hosts and their staff, they ensured our stay will remain a memory for life. And then the dinners , well these were superb. What an experience.

There is absolutely nothing not to like here. And if there was any issue , we know it would have been attended to immediately.

An absolute gem nestled in Gansbaai, Romans Villa surpassed our expectations! The breathtaking sea views were the perfect backdrop to a truly unforgettable stay. Tucked away in a gated community, the private beach access added an exclusive touch to our experience. The accommodations are not only modern and stylish but also very comfortable, ensuring a restful retreat. However, what truly sets this establishment apart is its exceptional staff whose genuine warmth and attentiveness made us feel like cherished guests throughout our stay. The culinary offerings are nothing short of exquisite, with both breakfast and dinner exceeding all expectations.

Wine choice was extremely limited—despite extensive wine list. None of the wines I ordered were available. That made the dinner a much less pleasant experience. And something which can easily be avoided.

Die Lage war perfekt, direkt am Meer . Wir waren das zweite Mal dort und wir wurden wieder mit großer und herzlicher Gastfreundschaft empfangen. Das Essen war sehr gut, das Zimmer wieder einwandfrei. Aber was am wichtigsten ist : der persönliche Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war wieder hervorragend, besonders zu betonen sind dabei die Weinkenntnisse des Gastgebers, der immer wieder zu überraschen weiß.

The location is absolute fantastic in a gated area really save. The staff including the owners was very nice with Avela always having a smile on his face. The rooms are nice but even nicer is the overall location of the guesthouse above the sea. The breakfast was outstanding and we very much enjoyed the stay. Thanks to Nynke and Ernst and all the staff for a great stay

If there are small criticisms we would make the following small improvement possibilities; 1.) The terraces of the two Mastersuites could be separated and 2.) maybe there could be a little chain to clarify that the terraces are not for the public. 3.) The windows which we on the back of the room were not able to darken. But this is only little improvement possibilities

Romans Villas was just beautiful and the view took our breath away. We enjoyed everything about our stay, from the walks along the private beach to the amazing dinners prepared by our fabulous hosts. The attention to detail in everything was truly appreciated.
