Sehr aufmerksame und hilfreiche Gastgeber, die Tipps geben und sich nach einem erkundigen. Außerdem führen sie ein nettes Café im Haus. Das Hotel ist ein Königscard Partner, das ist super, man kann vieles in der Region kostenlos nutzen - die ausgezeichnete Therme in Kochel, Gondel zum Herzogstand, am Blomberg den Sessellift sowie Rodelbahn und Hochseilgarten um nur einige zu nennen. Lage: super Ausgangspunkt zum Wandern / Fahrradfahren, nah am Walchensee, Dorfladen und Gaststätte direkt nebenan. Das Frühstück ist einfach, geschmacklich aber völlig in Ordnung. Parkplatz vorm Haus ist sehr praktisch.

Zimmer war geräumig und sauber, aber leider sehr kahl und könnte etwas Deko vertragen. Der Kaffee aus der Kanne ist nicht lecker, aber das ist natürlich Geschmackssache.

Die Besitzer und Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und sympathisch. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft schön, alles ist entspannt und es ist wenig Verkehr auf den Straßen.

Die Unterkunft ist allenfalls zweckmäßig und nüchtern mit Aussicht auf den nicht so schönen Innenhof. Morgens um ca. 6 Uhr wurden wir durch ein lautes Brummen (Stromaggregat ?) geweckt, mal auch ein LKW/Lieferwagen. Einschlafen war danach nicht mehr möglich. Frühstück gab es frühestens um 8 Uhr - da kann die Zeit schon mal lang werden.

The room was large and nice, with comfortable bad and proper furniture. There was not any noise from outside. The breakfast room is nice and homely.

We have only some suggestions: 1. The doors are a bit thin, hence noises come inside from the floor. It would be a great development a noise isolation on the doors of the room. The doors of the floor should close silently. 2. The breakfast is good but after a few days it becomes boring, so it would be better few other opportunity in the morning menu. 3. The wifi is not strong enough, please develop it. 4. There is not fridge in the rooms, it would be useful.

An excellent place for tourism, recreation and entertainment. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. The room is clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is next to the cleanest lakes, where you can go SUBbording, swimming and have a good time. For cyclists there are excellent trails with unforgettable views.

Wrong location and distance to nearby towns were given Booking.com website showed "less than 10 km", true distance was "more than 40 km" We were invited for a wedding in Benediktbeuren, no vacancies in Benediktbeuren, Jachenau was shown as next best option on booking.com. Neither booking.com nor the hotel management was willing to let us out of the booking for the second night or to compensate for the extra costs. In our case 150 km extra traveling and fees for toll road. Riding 42 km after a wedding party in the middle of the night is no pleasure. Also paying toll fees twice for the private toll road was never mentioned on the website either. Simply show responsibility for YOUR mistakes, correct the mistakes and compensate. Then everything I can be fixed. Rejecting any responsibility is simply not the way to go. Very poor behaviour.

Amazing location and super-friendly competent service.

The basics were there. It was very clean and had the amenities we needed. There are several hikes which start from the same spot (nice ones), no need even to drive anywhere. The village has at least two restaurants + the cafe of the hotel. There was a cash machine (maybe 2) as well, and a small local shop next door for groceries.Surprisingly many services for a small village, which was in itself charming. The breakfast was really good and the shower really hot. All in all, it met our needs rather well.

We only found the hotel because we trusted google, especially as it was already dark. Signposting could therefore be better. Enter via the cafe. The hotel is a nice traditional building but inside has been renovated in a manner which is almost sterile - it could be anywhere, the Bavarian country charm has been lost. The upside is that it is very white, up to date and clean. When the sun sets at 17.00 every hour of light outdoors is valuable, hence we would have been happy to breakfast at 7 am or even earlier, but breakfast only started at 8.00. Our room was in the attic hence the window was on the smaller side and the ceiling slanted, but again, not a big issue.
