Goed hotel op een prima locatie voor de doorreis naar Italie.

Het hotel is een fijne tussenstop van of naar Italië, vlakbij de Gotthard-tunnel. Er is een restaurant met een prima kaart en ontbijtbuffet. Het hotel is kind-vriendelijk, denk aan een kindermenu, familiekamers en een voetbal- en tafeltennistafel.
Daarnaast staat er een werkende jukebox, wel even vragen of hij aan mag want ze zijn er heel zuinig mee. Kinderen vinden het prachtig!
En naast het hotel is een kleine benzinepomp, erg handig.
Het hotel heeft geen airco, wij waren er hartje zomer met overdag temperaturen van boven de 30 graden maar alsnog was het ‘s nachts heel goed te doen.

Perfect stop along the road. Faido - nearby - is a lovely town and the waterfall area is worth visiting. It has a playground and the picnic spot/grillierplatz is very nice.

Convenient location. Friendly staff. Good evening meal and breakfast. Would stay again to break the journey.

Great location, very friendly staff and a competent chef in the restaurant, who made a lovely 4-course meal of high quality.
Cushions were a bit too hard for us, but that may be a personal preference.

- There was a toilet and shower on the room, but it was so small that i could only sit sideways on the toilet :)

The owners, the restaurant and the hotel itself are really charming and so authentic. Perfect begin to a nice holiday!
The toilet was not cleaned since the customer before us.

The last thing I expected was to be forced to sleep in a hotel overnight in my own canton, just a few kilometers from home, because of too much snow.
Yet this turned in a fantastic experience as I had the possibility to stay at Hotel Defanti! The score on Booking is accurate because the hotel is great!
Rooms were absolutely cozy, with a very comfortable bed and clean! The hotel is funny, there are many retrò items such as paintings and movie posters. It is funny to discover them all on each floor!! Breakfast and dinner were homemade and great! The real highlighters the working jukebox in the dinner room!
Many thanks to Cesare for allowing me to have such an amazing stay, I will surely come again!

Bit muff due to the age of the property. Breakfast is limited.
