very dated and unhygienic - pictures are not a true representation. room was not cleaned properly if at all, drawers were filthy, shower head was broken, plug hole snapped (had to be careful where u were stepping), carpets were barely hoovered (I asked for a hoover to try clean it better & it had horrendous suction), skirtings were filthy & had hairs. The shower head kept falling down too. very very loud

Informed staff when shown the room that I had booked and paid for a twin room. She said she would check and get back to me, which didn't happen. Upon leaving I was asked about my stay and repeated that I had booked a twin room and given a single. The young member of staff was embarrassed and apologetic, but that was it.

I don’t think the description of the property is accurate. It is extremely basic. I booked breakfast included. I advised my partner was coeliac and told everything, but the bread would be GF. We were told breakfast was at 8am, no alternative time was offered which is harsh when you are on holiday. we were then told breakfast was not included, I disagreed the member of staff had to check the booking.com app. We asked for a GF breakfast, there were so many items not GF the cooked breakfast option was tomato and egg. My partner asked for porridge this was not GF either. So he fetched his own cereal and bread from the car. All my partner was had was milk and tea.

Every single staff member I meant was super nice and accommodating. Lovely people that work there! Also, the bathroom was quite nice and modern. Also, good location near the train station and local eating places.

The room was a bit dated. The mattress across from the one I slept on had stains on it. They could do with new mattresses and new furniture. New towels would be nice as well as those were a bit thin.

The staff were very helpful with directions. They were friendly as well. We enjoyed drinks and dinner in the bar/restaurant. I loved that they restocked our fridge each day.

It was challanging to watch tv. It would have been nice if the beds were set up so you could lean against the headboard to watch TV.

Great base for exploring Falkirk. Staff friendly and super accommodating. Great choice of food and drink options in restaurant and bar. Really lovely touch with complimentary items in room fridge.

Room was a little basic but clean. Would have liked another mirror outside of the bathroom.

4 night stay for the rugby, David and all his staff were great and made us very welcome. Good choice for breakfast and good food. We went out on our travels every day but looked forward to returning to the hotel bar and restaurant and was entertained. We will book again. We stayed Thursday to Monday ,breakfast was from 08.00 each morning except on the Monday when we found out it was 10.00. So suggest that the restaurant opening times are in the room info.

Good value for money, clean and all worked. Complimentary drinks and sandwiches in fridge

It was Saturday night so there was music from a birthday party underneath in the function room, not dreadful and ended at 12.30. Couldn't hear the pub at all

The location was great in the centre of Falkirk. Staff were lovely, polite and helpful. The breakfast was really good.

The room was small and cramped. The bed was too close to the wall and the fridge was noisy right next to the bed. No hangers or mirror in the room

The food and the location of the hotel was good And the stuff was kind and nice
