The breakfast and staff were excellent.

The room was a little bit tiny but that was ok.

Location was perfect. Breakfast really good but in the building next to the hotel.

No elevator. Not a good space to leave ski boots etc.

The room was very small, dated, dark and there wasn’t enough storage.

Cheap and cheerful, very good location bang on in the centre of Chamonix with quick access to all the restaurants and bar. Great room size with great big shower and big towels.

Not enough plug in the room for your electronics, ski locker a bit tight when busy.

great location for centre of chamonix, clean and tidy and comfortable room. However on arrival I was given keys to a room on the 4th floor, not practical with a young child (aged 3)when expected to have to climb a literal mountain (so many steps) after a long day on the slopes! I let reception know I would need a different room. They were not particularly helpful, they found another room but made me pay the difference in price. I found that annoying as if I had known the room was inaccessible and would need to pay more I would of probably stayed somewhere with few more stars! I however agreed though they wanted to again overcharge me for the rate of the room. I looked on booking.com and showed the the room is considerably cheaper on the site (for the same dates) in which case they then agreed and honoured the cheaper advertised rate. I had stayed here before a few years back and really liked it, the people were really nice. I think it may have been bought out by a neighbouring hotel after covid and the attitude is not particularly good and basic customer service is not a priority.

Very good breakfast, the room was clean, the hotel is located very close to the big parking and to the center. Our room had an amazing view over the mountains.

The room is small and the bathroom even smaller. The reception and the breakfast are in another hotel located across this one. It can get noisy in the night due to the bars that are around the hotel.

Le Chamonix puts together the comfort of a hotel with a hostel's friendly and sharing atmosphere in its communal spaces.

It was not a problem, but the check-in and the breakfast take place in a different building (around 60 m apart).

The room door couldn’t be locked, so when we left for a walk the room was unlocked. I announced at the reception but the issue wasn’ t fixed. Another big -.. no elevator. The floor was mouving in the 4-th floor in all the room. No soap at the handeashing basin , just a soap dozator fixed in the shower tub. For us it was the worst hotel ever. Very disapointed .
