The location is good, it's a quiet place.

It lacks common areas, spaces to share outside the room.

the location it’s fine, our view room was cool, we loved to have a private balcony. everything it’s super chill.

there was no power in few times and during 7 nights we didn’t have any clean service, not even clean garbage bags for the kitchen.

We took the big double room at 55 000 per night, it was really spacious and confortable with a lot of light ! The location is great, 7 min walk from the beach and close from all the shops and restaurants! The kitchen is small but really enough if you need to cook! It a chill hostel with hammocks and little garden behind with tables!

we extended our stay for two weeks after our arrival. within this time there was never any toilet paper, the bathrooms were always very dirty, the oven was dangerous and caught fire, i burned my hand because the gas exploded multiple times. food got stolen by the cleaning lady and it happened often that there was no water. there very rarely seemed to be a receptionist or anyone working there so when people came to fix things the guests had to sort them out and when questions came up nobody was there to answer them.

WARNING: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Never in my life have I been screamed at by an owner of a hostel. On our second day here, we came back from the beach and were looking for a place to wash our feet, but we couldn’t find it so we used the downstairs bathroom. Suddenly, the owner came down and began berating us for using the bathroom instead of the washing basin. We explained that we tried to look for the washing basin but couldn’t find it, so we used what we believed was the place to wash our feet. While calling us “stupid”, “blind" and other lovely expletives, she stormed to the middle of the hostel and pointed at something that we still couldn’t recognise as a washing basin. I asked her to don’t just point to something from across the room but go up there and use it so we know what it looks like and how to use it. She refused to walk to it but instead began screaming at us that if I’m blind then that’s not her problem. The funny part is when we checked in she couldn't speak English, but suddenly she spoke perfect English. I feel like the screaming and verbal altercation could have been completely avoided if she took 10 seconds to show me how to use it. Instead of berating me like a 10 year old child. Absolutely ridiculous. Moreover, I felt cat-fished when I arrived in the hostel. The photos are at least a few years old, it looks nothing like the photos that are displayed. It may have been a decent hostel back in the days, but its nothing like that now. I understand the hostel was closed for a certain period of time, and when they opened up again, they never bothered to restore it to a reasonable standard. I cannot understand how there are any reviews that give this place a 10. They must be fake. Finally, it’s a cash only place, they never mentioned that they didn’t take card. So take that into consideration because Palomino has no ATMs. You have to go to the next town to take out cash.
