Hygiene was awful. But the main issue is that they HACKED our accounts and gave strong ratings. We selected this property based on ratings and now understand it was all a sham. Shameful, horrible cheats and liars.

Excellent hosts. Takes care of all the needs of the guests. Exquisitely designed tents that are quite spacious and kept neat and clean for the guests to stay in. Thrilling desert safari in a jeep under the care of trained personnel along with camel rides while witnessing the breathtaking sunset in the desert is just one of the highlights of your stay here. In the evening they also arranged for a cultural program trying to showcase the region's rich culture. Your stay here will also give you a chance to taste the delicious regional cuisine. To top it all the behavior of the hosts and the staff will fill your heart with seer joy.

Contacted the hotel owner of " Sky Desert Safari" hotel by phone regarding arrangements for a "CAMEL DESERT SAFARI" as no tourist leaves Jaisalmer or Jodhpur without experiencing a authentic camel ride in the Thar desert. Since there was "Covid-19" travel restrictions there was a lack of tourists for group camel rides.Luckily "Sky Safari" who deal in "Camel Safari's" managed to arrange a camel ride for me with a group of 3 other tourists..The cost of the "Camel Safari" was Rs 4800/ person thanks to the formation of the group of tourists. and left the hotel at 1530 hrs for the 40 kms ride to " Sam Sand Dunes" from Jaisalmer. .Finally we reached " Camel Point " near " Sam Sand Dunes " where our camels were waiting for us to mount them. Camel handlers Mr khan and a young boy Ayub got us mounted onto our individual camels and led us in a single file akin to a caravan towards Sam Sand dunes. It was a amazing 40 minutes ride and along the way passed alongside the plush "Camel Safari Tents" where tourists were entertained to a night of local dance and music after a camel safari ride. Almost all the tourists were local Indians from different states of India akin to me from the State of Maharashtra. On arrival at the imposing Sam Sand Dunes we were dismounted our camels at the base of one of the 30-60 meters tall Sand Dunes and told to indulge in our fantasies regarding photography on the picturesque dunes. .After the setting of the Sun which we observed from the Dunes we were taken to the only lone family farmhouse in the vicinity of the desert owned by Amin .A small isolated village farmhouse with cows, chickens, goats, camels and a small ferocious Indie dog. No electricity and my battery charger was non operational and was hoping it would last me till tomorrow. After a excellent cup of tea we were served dinner which tasted excellent although ordinary vegetarian food .

The overall experience with real desert man camel safari was really amazing and a memorable experience. Unlike other safari and camping agencies, real desert man take visitors to a non tourist spot which is far away in desert and gave a true and real isolated desert feel. The staffs were humble and took extra efforts to take care of me. The camel ride lasted more than an hour in sunset as well as in morning. Its not like a fixed timing. The dinner, snacks and breakfast were like homely foods and I liked the taste very much. They are fully prepared to meet all the needs and wants that visitor may require in desert. Sleeping under the clear open sky in a comfortable bed was so beautiful. They also provided blankets which were clean. Just imagine waking up from the bed in morning and all u see is waves of sand dunes and u just walk as u like for as long as u want, shout as much as u want and dance with no care about anyone judging u.

We were a group of 15people (family & friends ) on tour of Jaisalmer and Jodhpur and one of the must do things in Jaisalmer is the Sam Sand dunes. The problem is that there are so many operators and so many reviews of people having a bad time on this once in a lifetime experience that it makes you wonder who to believe and who not to. Also since we had kids with us and this was going to be the first time that most of the group folks went on a camel ride, we wanted this to be a sightseeing trip to remember.
In the beginning I was a bit apprehensive about using Sky Desert Safari as I had read a couple of bad reviews of them and those reviews aired exactly the same fears that I was dreading i.e. - short camel safari rides, more charges for a longer ride, bad entertainment at campsite, cold food etc .
But must say after I spoke and interacted with Mr Hanif, he put my apprehensions to rest and assured me of an experience to remember for me. my family and friends!
Truly we had an amazing experience and everything that was promised by Mr Hanif was delivered and we had a truly memorable time. From the long camel ride (till our backs hurt), to the warm welcome at the camp site , the nice tea and snacks on arrival, the entertainment program (lively and nice ) and to end it with a nice delicious and warm meal. To top it up he even provided us with something special for the kids at dinner time , which was not part of the regular fare. Thanks so much for that kind gesture Mr Hanif...the kids surely appreciated that.
Also special thanks to his brother ( Mr Nasir Khan ) who came along with us while we went on the camel safari , just to ensure that we had a good experience , were taken to the place we were promised and that the camel owners didn't ask for any additional monies for that, he was also around us at the entertainment area ensuring that we had everything that we required to make the experience for us as enjoyable a possible. Thanks Nasir Khan for everything.

Hospitality was awesome. Hanif from the management team coordinated well before our arrival and after arrival also explained all the activities as we are coming for the first time from South India. Nasir from Sky desert camp received very well and make sure that we feel comfortable w.r.t stay/food/activities etc . They have taken care of us very well and had great experience with all the desert camp activities.

We booked for one night open sky desert safari, we were scared little bit for security but it was full secured and they picked us from station, gave a room to freshen up and after that we started our day with Jeep Safari. It was an hour long drive to reach a point to start our camel safari. Jeep driver bhaiya was a gem person we interacted a lot and he told us many beautiful things about jaiselmer. Then we started our camel safari it was an amazing experience and again we found our camel safari Dada also very communicative and finally we reached dunes and they welcomed us with tea and snacks. Let me tell you first I had best tea with pakoda ever. Everything was there for our facility and finally we waited for STAR GAZING. It was so beautiful, sky was clearest. We enjoyed bonfire, chatted with other mates, Camal safari Dada told us many Stories. They cooked for us, again it was simple yet amazing food. We spent our night under stars and it was one hell amazing experience that peace open sky everything was just perfect. With that we finished our journey and definitely recommend to try this experience.

My third trip exploring India and my third visit to Jaisalmer and the Sky Desert safari.
I've visited many deserts around the world and truly enjoyed my unique Jaisalmer adventures.
True deserts are so quiet, peaceful and riding a camel is perhaps reminiscent of centuries of nomads, explorers and merchants crossing the wilderness.
I've stayed in many 5 star accommodation but only 3 times in 500,000,000 star desert accommodation
Next time I'd definitely take the 2 day / 2 night tour

I did a desert trip with Sky Desert Safari. It was an amazing experience, to experience the beauty of the Rajasthani desert during the day, the bright stars at night.
This experience is more than just any camel ride, it's an experience like no other. It's a window into another world.
An experience with Sky Desert safari is a must for anyone visiting Jaisalmer, if you want to finish your trip feeling like you experienced the real Rajasthan.

A great way to experience the magnificent Thar desert! A bit of dune-bashing, a camel ride into the sunset, and an evening of local Rajasthani ker sangri, churma, kadi pakodi—- and most of all beautiful folk music, dance performances around a bonfire and some breathtaking performance stunts too! We really enjoyed the music and dance after so many months and that too under the stars! Special shout-out to all the staff, everyone was lovely!
