Nell'incantevole isola di Ortigia, un tranquillo e accogliente appartamento che ospita fino a 5 persone. Ristrutturato, è composto da una zona living, una cucina, due camere da letto (una matrimoniale e una doppia/matrimoniale), un bagno con doccia spaziosa e una lavanderia/ripostiglio. Culla da campeggio, seggiolone, tostapane, fornetto, lavatrice, ferro da stiro, phon, shampoo-doccia, Tv, internet illimitato, climatizzato/riscaldato. Cesto di benvenuto.
Nelle immediate vicinanze negozi per lo shopping, ristoranti, bar, pizzerie, market, banche, farmacie, edicole e un folkloristico mercato del pesce e della frutta.
La sua posizione permette di visitare a piedi il centro storico di Siracusa che, patrimonio dell'UNESCO, conserva importanti tracce di storia e tradizioni, unitamente alla zona archeologica, al museo Paolo Orsi e al Santuario delle Madonna delle Lacrime (sede di innumerevoli pellegrinaggi). Da Siracusa è facile raggiungere e visitare la Noto Barocca, la riserva naturalistica di Vendicari, i laghetti di Cavagrande, la grotta del Monello, e l' Etna, vulcano attivo nella vicina Catania, che periodicamente con le sue eruzioni offre uno spettacolo mozzafiato.

Bagnarsi nelle limpide acque del Mar Ionio è ciò che non può mancare durante il soggiorno in questa città; una tintarella sulla spiaggia godendosi il relax o un tuffo dalla scogliera per i più dinamici. Se vuoi restare in città, a 300 metri da casa, sul lungomare di Ortigia c'è un solarium attrezzato che ti aspetta.

Florina stocked the kitchen with all sorts of snacks . The beds were super comfortable. It couldn't have been a better place to explore Ortigia.

Such a great, fascinating city and this apartment is right in the middle of everything. Floriana has set it up with everything you’ll need. History, restaurants, swimming, gelato - 5 Days was perfect.

Wonderful hosts, very comfortable, beautiful and exceptionally clean apartment which met all of our needs for our holiday. The apartment is situated in a quaint laneway behind one of the main streets of Ortegia. We enjoyed staying there and would do so again if ever back in Ortegia. we have recommended the apartment to our friends. Thank you Floriana.

We loved the help the owner gave us when we could not find the address: Greeting us from the balcony was terrific! The apartment could not have been better located, right in the heart of Ortygia, with super-easy walking access to any and all wonderful tourist sights and restaurants, and shopping. I simply cannot say enough good things about this apartment, and Ortygia in general. Perfect for a couple of mobile middle-agers with a little money to spend and appreciation for the best things in life! Thank you, Floriana!

Floriana gave us a very warm welcome on arrival to her home and was very helpful throughout our 3 night stay. She had provided a bowl of local blood oranges and strawberries, food for breakfast, as well as a bottle of wine.
Floriana’s well-kept and clean flat is a perfect base for exploring Ortigia. Just a couple of minutes’ stroll away to the south, through the old winding streets, is the town’s colourful market. Five minutes to the north is the grand Piazza Duomo.

We felt welcomed with a basket of tasty fresh fruits and a bottle of wine.
Floriana, the owner was there to welcome us when we got there.
It's ideally placed for a stay in Ortigia. The street market is a couple of minutes away.
The public parking is close as well (Talete parking). You can get a 40 Euros monthly rate that allows you to use the parking as much as you want. For this you need to go to the Uffici e Servezi Autoparco Communale.
Definitely a keeper.

2 weeks in Ortigia late July 2017. Floriana's apartment is very central & convenient for the local shops, bars & restaurants of Ortigia and is clean & today with everything we needed. There is a small supermarket just around the corner which has most things needed on a daily basis. Despite the 'no traffic' rules in the town, there did appear to be traffic (the usual scooters) at all hours, though the apartment is pretty quiet, especially the rear, twin room. The Air-con works well (we had 40deg days!) and the 3 little balconies are secure for toddlers. Ortigia is lovely, but for a family with small children, a two-week stay was perhaps, not ideal, as there is only one pebbly 'beach' on one side of the island - good for sheltered snorkelling but little shade until mid-afternoon - and a tiny patch of sand & stones on the other side - shady in early morning only. The main drawback we found was parking... it is a real problem on Ortigia and I was lucky to only get one fine. There is a car park, but was often full & at 10€/day, would have been v expensive over our whole stay. There are some lovely places to explore nearby, but the thought of moving the car deterred me from making the most of these. Ortigia really needs a 'Park&Ride' type scheme... but this is Sicily and that would be unlikely and the police would not issue temporary Resident's Permits even for a two-week stay. I would love to return, but only when the children are older.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Floriana’s apartment. It is well positioned in Oritiga with nothing on the island being more than ten minutes’ walk from the flat. Syracuse is also well positioned to visit other destinations on the east coast of Sicily. Everything in the flat was as described and as we expected, and you could not ask for a more helpful host than Floriana. We look forward to our next trip!

I spent 7 nights in Floriana's apartment with my wife and daughter at the end of March. You couldn't get anywhere more central with all you need right on the door step. The apartment was well-equipped, spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Floriana had also left us a bottle of wine, fresh fruit, water and other stuff to get us started which was very kind of her and much appreciated. She was easily contactable and met us at the apartment when we arrived. The apartment is very easy to find. Thanks Floriana.

Floriana was a wonderful host, very kind and welcoming. She even helped my husband get flowers to me for my birthday! The apartment is clean, comfortable and well stocked. We had everything we needed and more. The location was perfect. Very central and easy to walk around ortygia and surrounding sites but also quiet at night. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely stay again in the future!
