Priory Barn perfect for three generations. L shape works brilliantly for the oldies to get a bit of peace from the little ones. Very well appointed and comfortable accommodation . Lovely very spacious sitting/ formal dining area. Kitchen had everything we needed with a big table which the children used for arts and crafts. Wonderful, large, safe garden for ball games, rushing. around and cycling for little ones. Beautiful countryside and lots to see and do in the area. Melanie is an excellent attentive host and Paul very helpful getting the BBQ up and running. Would definitely come back.

10 of us piled in from 3 families and the house provided everything on the bill. Only mishap was a 3am alarm fue to potential power cut. Otherwise we all enjoyed our stay and the locality had lots to offer for 5 kids aged 14 to 6 years old. Thank you

We loved our stay at Priory Barn! We were two families w teens and the space was great! Communication with the owners was very fast and efficient with any questions we had, and we found the house very comfortable, nice linens and clean (as much as a house in the country can be! Expect to see some local 8 legged friends!). One suggestion is to supply even the basics of provisions. We had black pepper but nothing else. Including salt and perhaps oil would be very appreciated. Overall loved our stay, it was a great respite from the city as it was very peaceful!

We had a wonderful 3 days at the house which was perfect for smaller children with the safe and private garden, our teenage boys who loved the games room. The house is designed so that everyone has their space while spending time together. It is beautifully furnished, clean and well equipped. The surrounding area is also stunning and we will have to come back to visit again and see more when we don’t have family weddings to prepare for. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Kathryne

The check in process was excellent. The house is perfect for a family get together with plenty of room. If anything the photos online don't do the property justice. The outside area is perfect for relaxing, playing games or eating at the large outdoor table. The kitchen is well equipped. Overall we had a great time and would certainly recommend the house to others with a large family.

Excellent venue for our 50th Wedding Anniversary family get together. Well situated in beautiful countryside with a large garden for our young grandchildren to play in. The games room was very popular with children and grown ups alike. All the rooms were spotlessly clean and the kitchen very well equipped.

We had a fantastic stay at Priory Barn. A beautiful house I a gorgeous bit of country side. Plenty of space for everyone to have room to do what they want, games room in particular was very well equipped and thoroughly entertained grandchildren and adults alike. Some lovely places to visit nearby, though be aware if you have dogs, most don't allow dogs except in parts of grounds. Plenty of fabulous walks nearby and a lovely garden.

Great place for all the family ranging from 10mths to 60 and our dog. Loads of space - the games room was a real hit with everyone. Very clean and the beds were so comfy-love the pillows. Had a fabulous weekend celebrating hubbies 60th birthday. We'll be back - thank you.

This characterful property is situated in the Kent countryside within easy reach of Tonbridge, Hever Castle and Leeds Castle. It features a cosy and atmospheric living room, comfortable bedrooms, clean bathrooms and a clean and well stocked kitchen. The games room is a real plus for children. Melanie, the owner, was very helpful when we went in search for logs for the fire. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and recommend the property highly.

The property was in very good condition and had everything we needed. Couldn't ask for more.

My family thoroughly enjoyed celebrating my wife's 65th birthday at the Priory Barn. The house and garden are generous in size and perfect for little ones to entertain themselves. The house was spotlessly clean, the beds were really comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. Would thoroughly recommend.

The property had tremendous character and felt very special .. especially in the main living room when we had the log burner lit in the evenings . The garden was beautiful and we were able to sit out and have our breakfast sitting on the patio . We found some nice walks for our dogs around the nearby village of Charcott which had a good pub too. There are several National Trust properties not too far away . We enjoyed visiting Chartwell where Churchill lived .

Priory Barn was the ideal choice for a family weekend away celebrating my parents' 60th wedding anniversary, with plenty of space for everyone. The barn has lots of character and various places to socialise including the main living room, the kitchen, the games room and the lovely garden. There's lots to do nearby and we visited Penshurst Place and Hever Castle as well as some of the many local pubs. Hoping to book again.

Lovey barn . Very helpful, we had a slight problem working the tv, but was sorted out very quickly by Paul, who was only a phone call away and lives close by .Well stocked with cutlery and crockery and cooking utensils. The bottom oven was not easy to use, but we managed with the top one and the hob. Welcome pack on arrival was a nice gesture. We had a lovely time and would recommend this property .

The property is well-placed for Hever Castle, Chartwell, Knole Park and the tudor village of Chiddingstone. We visited the latter two - both of interest to all the family. Priory Barn is delightful, deceptively spacious with a large family table for meals. The games room was a huge hit with its football table and pool table. The garden with rose beds and fruit trees is established and well-tended. Perfect for aperitifs and games of petanque in the evening! The accommodation perfectly suited our family of grandparents, parents and children 17, 15, 15, 13 and 11. I recommend, but - beware the sign to the house is rather small and we did miss it!

Great location lots of space and a great host .

The barn is in a great location and has plenty of parking space. The accommodation is spacious and suits a large family gathering. The games room is brilliant for entertainment, especially if it’s wet. There are neighbours each side of the seating area within the garden, so you are aware to keep the noise down. The property has a great character, but be careful not to hit your head on the beams. The thing we struggled with, was the oven. Difficult to operate, no manual and took for ever to heat up. However, when we called the number given on arrival, they kindly came to our aid.

From the moment I booked the barn for my sister’s 40th birthday to the moment we left everything was perfect!! Melanie answered all my questions prior to arrival and on arrival the accommodation did not disappoint. The barn was beautiful and clean with a variety of activists for all ages. The garden was spectacular and well Kept. Thank you so much for an amazing stay and making me sister’s birthday celebration amazing.

We enjoyed a weekend away at Priory Barn to celebrate my MIL's 65th birthday; there was a wide range of ages including 3 children. The house was lovely, all very nice and clean and the garden was stunning, we enjoyed quite a few bottles of wine sat outside in the sunshine! The children (and adults!) loved the games room, particularly the pool table and table football. In fact we didn't watch any tv all weekend which was highly refreshing! We would say that the oven isn't the best - we worked it fine but it takes absolutely ages to heat anything so make sure you plan ahead with meal times! There's a very nice indian takeaway we used the one night about 5 minutes drive away that we'd recommend. The location is perfect for days out to lots of beautiful sites - we chose to go to Penshurst Place for the day as there's something for everyone including a great playground for children of all ages. Thanks for a lovely weekend, we were saying we are probably going to book again next year as it was perfect for what we wanted!

We were looking for a holiday home where we could have a post-Lockdown family reunion and celebrate my father’s 71st birthday. Priory Barn was perfect for the occasion. We had a wonderful long weekend. There is ample parking, the house has enough space to accommodate large groups, is well-kept and the property is well-located vs shops and country footpaths.
