Great place to stay. Very clean, but needs some general maintenance.

We loved this condo. It is a gem in the heart of downtown Pentwater! We had a lovely time in our favorite place. The condo was perfect in every way. We will be back. The hosts were very responsive and kind.

This place was a perfect size for our family of five! Loved relaxing on the deck after a long day and it was so nice to be able to just go walk around town and grab a coffee and dinner. Weather wasn’t the warmest but it’s nice and close to the beach which is great as well. Everything was clean and comfortable!

As a longtime Pentwater visitor I wasn't sure about styaing 'in-town' but the apartment was great. Super location - if you can't be on the beach it's tough to beat this spot. In fact it might be too close to House of Flavors, but that's a good problem to have. Clean, good AC and wi-fi. I'd definitely return.

The owners have done a great job redoing the condo. Loved all the space available inside and out! Excellent location for the shops and walking to the beach. We had a great stay and didn't mind the stairs to get there, even with 80 yr olds in our group!!

The 22 steps up the stairs were challenging for us old guys but every bit worth it... lots of room for the two couples. Really nice rooms and everything so well stocked... every kitchen accessory one could need, extra pillows, towels and blankets. Totally wonderful!

Location Location Location, huge place with everything you need, wonderful porch for drinking coffee in the morning. Would come back again for sure.

Wonderful location, walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the water!!

This is right downtown Pentwater. Can’t beat the location. It’s very charming and comfortable with tons of antique detail. There’s tons of space. Patio is great. Would return! Not a beach house vibe, but great for fall visit for a wedding with my husband and mother in law.

We had a wonderful stay at our beautiful accommodations. The apartment was clean and the location is so convenient to everything in Pentwater.

We enjoyed staying here for 2 nights. Close to the sand dunes and right in downtown Pentwater. Super clean and had all essentials. Thanks and we will be back!

Our second time staying at this condo. We love the location and the condo itself. Convenient to the main drag and the beach. Clean and well-appointed.

The apartment was clean and well appointed. we had everything we needed and the location, so close to the beach was perfect. The only disappointing thing was that we had to enter through a back ally and the ally was littered with dog droppings which we stepped in a couple of times. Not the owners fault but might be worth saying something the the owner of the dog groomers.

What a beautiful condo. There was plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids (5 and 2). The kids ran down the long hallway between the dining room and living room. Location was excellent, middle of town. The tub in the master bedroom was pretty high to step into. Pentwater was does not wake early. There are at least 3 very good ice cream stores. Pentwater is not far from Michigan Adventure or Craig's Cruisers. A perfect location.

We loved it. Friends came up and were so surprised at how big it was. Would visit it again when in the area. It was in a great location and we walked everywhere

Central to EVERYTHING in Pentwater, but still restful and relaxing. A unique property with old world charm lovingly restored with modern amenities. A real gem. Will definitely return!!!

Sara's place was great. Wonderful location, we were able to walk to coffee, meals and ice cream throughout our stay and a very short drive to the beach. Pentwater is a great small town if looking for a more quite location with lots to offer. The space was wonderful, in my opinion the apartment is bigger then the pictures led me to think. It has tons of original charm with beautiful wood work and original doors but wonderfully updated bathrooms and a full functioning kitchen. The patio was great for relaxing in the evening after a fun day. Bed were super comfy, lots of room to spread out but close to everything you need. After several nights in a hotel this was perfect for our 13 year old and 11 year old daughters to have some space. Pentwater is a short drive to Ludington State park and Silver Lake dunes. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly suggest this listing to anymore looking. As others have indicated it has the character of the historical building that it is but the modern amenities someone would want in a listing.

This property was absolutely perfect for our long weekend in Pentwater. Right in the heart of the village, it was so easy to access all the shops and just a short walk to the beach. The condo was spacious and very comfortable with everything we needed and more. The hosts were so helpful and hospitable. They were quick to respond to any questions we had. We would absolutely stay here again.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is conveniently located, within walking distance to everything in town. It's a gorgeous place; truly a gem Our only criticism is there was no outside light, and we arrived after dark. Perhaps that was just a burned out bulb, but we were definitely stumbling down a dark alley trying to find the place. Otherwise, we really enjoyed it.

This place reminded me of my first apartment in Traverse City's Old Towne neighborhood above a storefront. It is spacious and has many original features, like beautiful wood floors and woodworking. The floors are creaky (which I happen to like!), and the bathrooms have been finished beautifully. The beds were very comfortable, and the outdoor deck is nice.You should note that this is a second floor space with a very long staircase, so be sure you can handle hauling your bags up. I would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay very much! Being right downtown was a blast! Very close to the beautiful sites as well. The unit was extremely clean!

The property was exactly as described and the photos are current. Plenty of space for all of us and all of the creature comforts of home at a very affordable price. I don’t think we can ever stay in a hotel again. Unloading and parking are interesting, and the stairs were talked about by all of us for days, but absolutely worth the cleanliness, communication and comfort of our stay. Make sure to contact the Owner prior to arrival for the door code. The shops along Hancock are great, the drive to the Dunes was quick, and if you’re staying in the Village to explore, there is plenty to keep you busy. Make sure to check the hours of places of interest, though! We missed a few spots due to their hours. Guess we will have to come back :)

One of the best VRBO experiences I’ve had. Good communication. Clean. The place is huge for a loft/condo above one of the shops on the main drag. Charming, but updated enough to be very comfortable. Owner has gone out of his/her way to have all the stuff you take for granted in a kitchen. Hey have all the cooking utensils, pots, pans, strainers, etc. that other owners typically leave out. Plenty of quality bed and bath linens. What I love most, though, is the location. The unit is right over one of the shops on the main drag, which is very near to Cosmic Candy...the neatest candy/popcorn/ice cream shop in Pentwater, if not all of Michigan. You are also right across the street from the Pentwater lawn/pavilion with gazebo where there is a weekly farmers market, occasional entertainment, etc. Walkable to beach though we opted to drive/park so we had all the gear we needed with kids. Walked everywhere else up and down the main drag. Will rent again if available.
