Very charming apartment, great location on quiet part of Bruges but still within walking distance of everything. Alex, the host was very helpful and accessible when needed.

When we arrived at Casa Michaelangelo, Alex helped us up the stairs with our luggage, gave us a tour of the apartment and then wonderful suggestions to make our stay truly memorable. The air conditioner worked great with the warm temps, the art work and decor are first class and the location is convenient to all places in Bruges!

we stayed at Casa Michelangelo during our first ever visit to Brugge. it was amazing! the house was more spacious than i expected from the pictures. it was super clean, so modern and comfortable. all the amenities were up to date. so convenient having a washer and dryer. i loved the architectural details of the house. it was an easy walk to everything. but on a quiet street. Alex was so helpful. we were able to leave our luggage early, and then he also gave us a lot of helpful suggestions for local places to eat and chocolate shops! i wish we could have stayed much longer than the short visit we had, as it could not have been any more perfect.

Casa Michelangelo was a beautifully restored and renovated apartment in the perfect location in Bruges! My family (kids 12, 9, & 7) had an amazing and comfortable time here. From the start, Alex greeted us on the street as we walked up and stored our luggage until the apartment was clean. He gave us all the codes and also had a nice set of recommendations and instructions for us. The food recommendations were spot on and L’Estaminet and the bagel breakfast place almost next door were amazing and very accommodating for families. This place was very well kept and cozy. The main floor starts on the second level with street access leading to a marble staircase (European style, meaning there’s not a lot of space but it’s very cool how they’ve adapted everything). Main floor has a bathroom, living room, dining room & kitchen and a spiral staircase that leads to the 3rd floor. Upstairs is a nice spacious master bedroom and spacious bathroom. There’s another small room with a pull out single bed that was nicely made up for our family of 5 and the room also has a neat wooden staircase up to the attic/loft bedroom (4th floor) that the kids loved. The apartment is only minutes walking to pretty much anything you’d like to see or do and about a 25-35 min walk from the train station depending on walking traffic. The cobblestones aren’t fun to walk with luggage so when we go back we will definitely use Taxi Sam (ask Alex for his number) for a ride from the train. Highly recommend!!

Was a fantastic property with all the comforts of home, situated in the historic center of Bruges. The process from beginning to end was smooth and the host Alex a joy to deal with. We can't recommend this home highly enough. Look no further. It was the highlight of all the properties we stayed at on our recent trip to Europe.

The Casa Michelangelo served as our home away from home while in Bruges. Our host, Alex, was extremely gracious and went out of his way to tell us about local attractions. He keeps a meticulous, tastefully decorated property with tons of natural light throughout. Walking distance to everything. We were only there a couple nights and were so sad to leave. We would say there again in a minute.

This apt is in a great location just outside the busy tourist area. Its very quiet and allow easy access to all parts of Bruges. Alex is an excellent host and gave us many good recommendations for our visit.

This apartment, really a home, was absolutely amazing in every way. We were 2 women who rented this property, and it was so comfortable, warm, and most inviting. The area was absolutely perfect, a easy & close walking distance to the main area of Bruges, but far away enough to have complete silence at night. also, a very easy walk to the train station that we took advantage of during our time there on many occasions. Such a lovely city with incredibly kind and lovely people who were so welcoming and a huge thumbs up to an incredible host, Alex. He was always available to us whenever we texted or called upon him. Thank you very much Alex for allowing us to rent your home, we have hopes to return again soon and to stay in Casa Michelangelo 😉❤️

We booked this in 2019 and due to pandemic only just got to go ..been worth the wait and we loved it . Alex has been amazing considering we changed the date a few times and gave us great tips on sightseeing and good restaurants. Will definitely be back as loved Brugge such a lovely place and people.Apartment is in a great location for everything and decor in keeping with this very beautiful 17th century building . Just another shout out to Alex he really was a fantastic help ..

My mother and I very much enjoyed our stay in Alex’s home. He was a gracious host, allowing us to leave our luggage and have lunch while the apartment was being prepared. I stayed in the attic room and it was a very comfortable bed, as was the main bedroom. Photos and description of apartment are accurate so be sure you are comfortable with stairs. I liked the added touches, such as the slippers and the access to laundry. Danke wel Alex!

Casa Michelangelo is cosy and welcoming, as is the host Alex. Beautiful old Flemish house with everything you need, off the beaten track but 2 minutes away from the centre. Secure parking was just a few doors down. Alex was happy to answer any questions and his recommendations helped us make the most of our time in Bruges so definitely suggest making them top of your list. Already looking to book a return visit to Casa Michelangelo, such a gem.

This home had everything you would need for a great comfortable stay very close to the old city and walking distance to every major highlight of Bruges. Our hose was very helpful and quick to recommend places to visit and shop. Highly recommend.

Casa Michaelango and Alex were wonderful hosts during our short stay in Bruges. Perfect place for my wife, myself, and another couple. The location is a 5 to 15 minute walk from anything Bruges has to offer. A definite must stay.

What a great place!! Second floor apartment, location was perfect, layout was cozy and the terrace was a nice touch. The kitchen was great to cook in. Alex was great and always available. We went in July and it was HOT, although there is "ac" they are not strong enough to really cool. With that being said, most of Europe doesnt have ac at all. Despite that, we would stay again. Lovely home.

Alex’s property was a fantastic base for my wife, daughter and I’s exploration of Bruges and Ostend. Everything was as pictured and described and the house was extremely clean and well-kept. Alex provided a wealth of information at check-in that helped shape our stay. We hope to return some day!

Location was Perfect and house was perfect. Alex was very quick to get back to any of my questions.

Very clean apartment which is a short walk to the main market square. Only 1 super king bed and 1 double bed, so bear this in mind when booking. I would recommend this apartment to anyone as the check in process was quick. Onsite parking was very convenient too.

The apartment is close to everything. The host Alex was super nice, and patient. As we were in constant communication with him prior to our arrival since we were uncertain of the country COVID restrictions. He lives next door so he’s available if needed. Will definitely stay here again :)
