Loved the design of the house, the space, the glass, the hot tub, the underfloor heating.

Kitchen is a tad small if you had multiple people cooking but it wasn’t an issue for us.

Beautiful property with amazing amenities and also convenient to so many fantastic sites. Comfortable beds, lots of space, neat turf roof, very clean and well designed. It was easy to get to the Hjorleifshofdi hike, Skaftafell and Vatnajökull National Park, and Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon & Diamond Beach all from this location. On a clear night the Milky Way and northern lights were visible.

The villa is amazing and beautiful. The kitchin is good and has all the facilities. The design and the view are amazing.

The heating didnt really work well, was little bit cold, didn't get any reply from any way I tried to connect for help.

It was a beautiful property, the view was beautiful and the space was amazing. However, the water died sometime during the night and we had no water for 5 of us. Couldn’t shower or brush our teeth or even flush the toilet. This I believe was the towns fault as our host stated that other places were experiencing that same thing. I would still recommend this place as a stop on your stay

The only complaint (other than the no water) was the cleaning crew was a bit lacking. We picked up several large shards of glass in the living area and it appears that a few birds had flow into the window and were lying dead outside. Nothing really too bad I would still stay here again and would recommend. If it wasn’t for the water being out this place would have been the star of our trip.

It was really a tremendous stay at this location. We really enjoyed the nearby places like Diamond Beach and other waterfalls. And specifically the stay was awesome. The experience of this stay and facilities provided by the owner is family friendly and helpful. We really enkoyed the hot tub as well. And the view is phenomenal.

This villa was amazing. From the exterior to the interior, the design was fascinating while maintaining its functionality. The views were spectacular from every room in the main house, the attached room, and the hot tub. The kitchen was spacious and had everything you needed. We enjoyed the large dining room table in the main area and had several homemade meals there. The rooms had comfortable beds and bedding - the black out curtains were a great touch. The villa was easy to find/drive to and was located near a couple of gas stations with cafes/restaurants and good hiking trails. If you are looking for a place to stay at in the south, my family and I highly recommend this home! We would definitely stay here again!

it was very clean and spacious and well appointed.

the Wi-Fi was not up to the required standard. the password was different to the one supplied and did not work in one of the apartments. the advice I got in response to my first email did not help and there was no response to my second email which was disappointing. considering the price I expected more. it’s a pity that such an easy thing to get right should spoil the experience a little.

The location is awesome. The entire villa looks like it's from a move. Definitely a unique experience staying here

The landlords are criminals and their behavior will be a case for the police and courts. After the hot water was not working and the housekeeper told us that there is no guarantee that hot water is likely not available in a reasonable timeframe and we called them and agreed (which was a lot of hassle and damage for us) to cancel the booking free of charge. After that the landlords created a „story“ to charge us the full amount which is clearly a criminal bevaviour I have never experienced before in my life. In addition the house was really dirty and we took pictures of that. So keep away if you want a nice holiday instead of trouble!!!

Exceptional place with all comfort and outstanding design. An experience for ever!

It was a perfect location in a gorgeous home. The decor was fantastic. It was the halfway point of our 10 day trip so having laundry machines was great.

Little panels on the washer/dryer kept falling off. Might be helpful if there were some use directions in English - especially for synthetic outdoor clothes. Beware- hotel down the hill would not take us for meals and gas station restaurant (a decent buffet) ends at 8 (but still seemed to be open at 8:30). The Fosshotel Glacier takes reservations after 8pm and had the best seafood soup.

Comfortable and spacious villa

Very high price but no other accommodation available in the area the night we were there. Vague directions, need to save a picture to figure out which house it is.

Huge and pleasant apartment. Large and spacious living room and a great Jacuzzi outside.

I spoke to in advance and asked to make sure the washer and dryer were working. Unfortunately the dryer was broken and we did not get an answer.

The setting of the house was beautiful and the house was modern and spacious.

The rental was quite expensive and for that money, everything should have been perfect. Unfortunately, there was a human hair on the bed linens in one bedroom which was a bit off-putting and there was no coffee (although quite a lot of tea). There was also incorrect information about dining availability at the hotel in the neighborhood. They are not serving dinner there and since there is no nearby grocery store and virtually no evening dining options this would have been important to know in advance.

The location is magical. The most beautiful views are from the living area and the kitchen. There are 2 bedrooms in the main house (very private) and a guest suite with a private bathroom. We used a hot tub and it was an out-of-this-world experience. You are surrounded by mountains and meadows with sheep strolling around. Just amazing.

We only stayed 2 nights. Would have loved to stay longer.

This house and owner are exceptional. The house is clean, stylish, warm and comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped. The hot tub is perfect. Great communication with the owner. We wish we had stayed for longer, it’s such a peaceful location. Location highly recommended!

Amazing apartment and location.

Sensationel architecture with a wonderful view. The villa is well equipped.

Unfortnatelly the house was not well cleaned. The kitchen, the fridgeand all the windows were dirty. Furthermore the hot tub was full of micro particles. Too bad nobody was ready to clean it for us it was one of the reasons we booked this not inexpensive spot and the view from the pool would be sensational. After one week of travelling with family we really needed to wash our clothes but the laundry didn't work. The owner couldn't help us, the machine was well running for the past, she said. Therefore we were obligated to help ourself: whether the fresh water nor the grey water tube were connected... A perfect and special house with too many non-working details and non-sufficient support from the owner. Not correct for this price...
