Lovely Silver Coast 2 Bed Apartment with Sea View-Praia D'El Rey
Questo è un delizioso spazioso appartamento all'ultimo piano con 2 camere da letto con vista mare e piscina in comune. La spiaggia tranquilla è a soli 250 metri. C'è un ampio salone / sala da pranzo e cucina con cucina completa con lavastoviglie e lavatrice / asciugatrice. Ci sono 2 balconi e una terrazza solarium. Ci sono anche 2 lettini e seggioloni disponibili senza alcun costo aggiuntivo a differenza di altri che pagano separatamente per questi articoli. L'appartamento è situato all'interno del resort n. 1 di golf in Portogallo, Praia D'el Rey Golf e Beach Resort (recentemente votato European Golf Resort dell'anno 2007) sulla splendida Costa d'Argento (Costa Prata). Siamo situati all'interno del resort e solo a pochi passi dalla Clubhouse e 1 ° tee (5 minuti), 250 metri dalla spiaggia (5 minuti), area giochi per bambini (1min) e campi da tennis (5 minuti). Wonderful location, just moments from the clubhouse. Great golf on the doorstep. The apartment block itself is a little tired as was the apartment. Great for a basic stay, but if you like a more up to date/ smarter property this might not be for you. A point of concern was the lack of fire/ CO alarms.

The stay was ok, the apartment is clean. Not my taste but everything is there and the check-in is very friendly and helpfull. The only thing strange was that there are no sunloungers at the pool. Pity that the bed in the masterbedroom has an upstanding endboard which makes it hard to sleep for tall people (like myself)
And also there is no wifi. For the rest everything ok and I can advise the apartment for golfers

Communication, check-in and check-out was excellent and smooth. Quick response to our requests. Property and appliances show their age but everything is functional and we had a pleasant stay.

Nice apparment, calm surrounding with a pool next to the property. Kids enjoyed it a lot especially in the evening.

The property is lovely, but there were many small things that made our stay less than great. Eg: we only got 1/2 roll of toilet paper! No soap in the bathroom, the shower curtain was ripped. There was not a grocery store anywhere near so we couldn't easily buy essentials. The tv worked but when playing a DVD there no sound. The gas top burners did not ignite. There was no lighter... and no grocery store so we could not cook our planned dinner that nite. The master bed was too short for my partner who isn't overly tall. He is 6' 1" and his head and feet where hitting the ends of the bed so he had to sleep in a single bed... not too good for our romance on vacation! There was no WIFI. This was an issue. The resort nearby did not want to even call a taxi for us as our Air- b n b was not part of the resort. The golf shop called a taxi so we could go to buy essentials and food ( $28 euros one way) it would be nice to have instructions to use the combo washer/ dryer?!! The graphics do not fully articulate how the unit works. We loved the pool, the apt was clean,very nice, quiet and light. Only 10 mins walk to a lovely beach but quite a way from Obidos (around 30 min drive ). You definetly need a car to stay here.. and bring all you need as again- no grocery store!

We stayed 3 nights then booked for 1 extra as we relaxed so much. Pool for the kids was perfect, close to Obidos, terrace, facilities, all good. We had a lovely stay here. Many thanks!

A charming place that will delight the golfers, but also the surfers or the followers of the "farniente", very comfortable and vast flat very well equipped, A haven of peace and absolute tranquility. The garden of the residence is beautiful and the location of the resort is ideal for visiting Portugal. A charming assistant, Isabel, missionary, very effective. The only complaint is the lack of WIFI in the apartment, these days it is an indispensable equipment. Charming and efficient owners! Very good ... will be perfect with the

Apartment was exactly as described with all the facilities that were required. Pool lovely and clean and landscaping was well kept. You will need a car to stay here. Driving not a problem and even driving around Lisbon was not an issue. Car can be parked close to the apartment.Beaches were excellent especially if you like surfing and body boarding. Owner communication excellent and hassle free. Defiantly recommend .

Vom 7.-21. September haben wir einen wunderbaren Urlaub in Praia D'El Rey verbracht. Das Apartment hat alle unsere Erwartungen erfüllt , es war sehr gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht. Ein Auto würden wir auf jeden Fall empfehlen, allein schon um das Umland zu erkunden und auch für Einkäufe. Im Resort gab es einen Mini-Supermarkt, in dem man das Nötigste bekommen konnte.
Das Meer und der tolle Strand waren nicht weit entfernt und wurden von uns ausgiebig genutzt. Der Pool der zum Apartmenthaus gehörte, war sehr schön und gehörte uns im September fast allein.
Wir kannten bis jetzt nur Portugals Norden und waren auch von dieser Region begeistert.
Die Tips, die wir im Apartment vorgefunden haben bez. Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurans, waren klasse. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns das Tribeca in Sierra del Rei.
Alles in allem war es ein toller Urlaub und wir sagen hier nochmals Danke an Andy und Chui, auch für die wirklich komplikationslose Buchung.

We would highly recommend this apartment for anyone who would like to explore this wonderful part of Portugal. We visited this region 20 years ago, and apart from some new motorways making access a lot easier, it has remained largely unspoilt, and it's possible to experience the real Portugal with ease.
Chui and Andy's apartment is lovely - clean and very well maintained,great views from the wrap around balcony, and everything you need for your stay is there. The pool is very pleasant and was nice and warm during our stay. The beaches, just a few minutes walk away, are fantastic, though the sea is quite lively here, so not ideal for swimming (great for surfing though)
A car is essential - we flew to Faro and drove up, which was actually really easy, but Lisbon is the nearest airport and that's less than an hour away. The Praia Del Rei resort itself is extremely well landscaped - we're not golfers but if you are I'm sure it's a great place to play. There are also places to eat on site (we ate at the clubhouse a couple of times, and it's very nice. The apartment itself is on the top floor so not ideal for disabled because of the stairs but otherwise access is very good. Plenty of parking outside the apartment too. I'd like to thank Chui and Andy for their excellent communication throughout the booking process and after we returned. They are keen to do their best to ensure that everything is just right, and if you are thinking of visiting this part of Portugal, book with confidence.

Wir haben 3 Wochen im August 2010 Urlaub gemacht. Das Appartment ist gut ausgetattet (allerdings: der Trockner funktioniert nicht, bei hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und frischen Temperaturen wäre das noch perfekt gewesen! Ansonsten technesch, v.a. multimedial excellent ausgestattet!), Pool und Praia del Rey als Umgebung (mit Kinderspielplatz um die Ecke, Minimarket, reichhaltigen Möglichkeiten zum Sport) sind o.k. Der Strand ist wunderschön, die Wellen allerdings manshoch und deshalb für Familien eher ungeeignet. In einer halben Autostunde ist aber Sao Martinho de Porto mit einem familienfreundlichen Strand zu erreichen, wir empfehlen ebenso das Tejoufer als Badespaß in der Nähe von Santarém mit Sandstrand, Flußkrebsen und deutlich wärmeren Temperaturen als an der Küste. Wir hatten einige Male schmudelig-graues Wetter am Wasser (ein warmes Fleece sollte man dabei haben) und 10km im Landesinneren war dann der Sommer - Auto ist also unbedingt empfehlenswert! Schöne Orte, Kirchen, Lissabon, Strände - alles gut zu erreichen. Toll, dass im Appartement sowohl ein Reiseführer wie auch privat zusammengestellte Infos waren! An dieser Stelle noch einmal thanks to Andy and Chui!

We, two adults and two children (7 and 9 years) were in October 2009 for 12 days in Portugal holidays in the apartment of Chui and Andy.
The description of the apartment was absolutely correct and exceeded our expectations by far. The beautiful location, the equipment, the cleanliness and family-friendliness were absolutely top class. The weather in October was wonderful with 27 to 30 degrees Celsius. So we had a beautiful family leave, which left no wishes open.
Because we love the beach and the water, we are every day until 4 to 5 hours at/in the Atlantic and then still 2 to 3 hours in the swimming pool, located directly by the apartment. Many restaurants are nearby. Especially helpful is the own-area map with lots of hints and tips, go to lunch.
The apartment we can recommend wholeheartedly and we wish Chui and Andy many guests which love to explore this beautiful section of Portugal, taking advantage of this unique apartment.

We spent two wonderful weeks in this perfect apartment in September `09. Inside the apartment everything what is needed during holidays is available. Due to the excellent beds and the the very calm neighbourhood we slept perfect during the nights and if needed in the afternoon. Beautiful beach is within walking distance. Weather was wonderful, not too hot and not to cold, and we had only one rainy day.
The whole area Praia del Rey is beautiful even if your are not a golf player (as we are). A lot of good hints for shopping, restaurants ... is available in the apartment.

Brought my mum of 79 and my daughter 17 here and they loved it.This is a super appartment well presented and well maintained, everything spotless! All the decoration and rooms generally in perfect condition with all you could need supplied.The pool very near was lovely and the area very clean and tidy. Local eateries were very good value for money and the local beach bar food fanatastic.Portugese people very friendly and helpfull making you feel welcome.Golf excellent and facilities superb.Would highly recomend this to my friends and family.
