The house is beautiful. Stunning terrace as well as a beautiful balcony connected to the lounge room and bedroom. The view is gorgeous. The fold out couch in the loungeroom was comfy enough. Other bedrooms were spacious and very comfy! Very handy having a washing machine and 2 bathrooms. Antoinella was so lovely and helpful!

The electricity in the property kept shorting on the first night there. May have been due to the weather though. The walk from the harbour is pretty long with a lot of steps. Total of approximately 250 steps which is a lot with luggage so just keep that in mind.

Such a beautiful apartment. Very clean, decor and amenities well thought out. It had an amazing view. The host was phenomenal and so helpful.

The photos do not do the property justice. it’s even nicer than pictured! Bedrooms are large for Euro bedrooms, living room is comfortable and outdoor space was a very nice bonus.

Hard to complain because most properties deal with this in Amalfi but over 200 steps down to base level of Amalfi. You won’t get these views without it. I wouldn’t detract from review but if that many steps would bother you, it’s worth thinking about it.

The car service that parked the car scratched the whole side of our rental, (which we were able to buff out ourselves after a quick trip to the store thank god) but the owner was apologetic and we ended up parking down by the water for the remaining of our stay which worked just as well.

beautifully kept and amazing location

Porter met us early to carry luggage up the hill to property as we arrived 5 hours before check in time. We then had time to explore Amalfi Town before our church in time. Porter also helped us carry luggage at check out as well.

There were lots of steps to beautiful property however we knew this ahead of time.

What a place! Beautiful! We were met by Antonella, the owner who couldn't have been more helpful. Luigi helped us with our cases from the meeting point to the beautiful house. The property is spotless and has fantastic views. There are three separate outside sitting areas and we used them all. Evening drinks overlooking the sea - doesn't get any better! We ate in one night of our four night stay and the kitchen is well appointed. Antonella allowed us to check in early as we had an early flight to Naples from Edinburgh. Some goodies were waiting for us in the kitchen and in the fridge - a thoughtful touch. Check out (which we didn't want to do as we could have stayed longer without any problem) was simple and Antonella was very helpful. Luigi was there again to help with the luggage. All four of us that stayed agreed we would return in an instant.

There couldn't have been anything better with the house although you have to be moderately fit to get there. Typical of Amalfi and the surrounding area there are lots of steps and some of the hills are quite steep although you wouldn't get the views otherwise. The meeting point is on the main road, above and to the west of Amalfi harbour.

Antonella greeted as earlier than check in time as we had an early morning flight. The porter carried all our cases up to Chez Amelie. The house was absolutely stunning, spotlessly clean and the basket of fruit, juice and other items were very much appreciated!
