This place was above and beyond what we expected. It was incredibly clean and spacious. All bedrooms are large. The location is ideal if you have little ones and want to walk around town. The neighborhood is very quiet. Even though the backyard isn’t very private, you still feel like you are in the woods. We would definitely stay here again.

We didn't want to leave! Darcy is the absolute best to work with~very accommodating! The sunroom is warm, cozy and very relaxing! Can walk to everything in town!

We traveled to The Highlands for a family wedding and brought three young children (6, 4, 15 months). The kids loved exploring outdoors, front porch swing, and black bear stuff animals in the cabin. Very centrally located, easy walk downtown and quite neighborhood. Highly recommend this house.

Our party consisted of four adult friends and 2 dogs. The house accommodataded all comfortably. The property owner was quick to respond with questions and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Darcy was so easy to work with! The house was very clean and well equipped for a few days celebrating a family wedding. We could walk to the Main Street area easily. A quick drive to hiking and stunning waterfalls. Would not hesitate to stay again at this house if I’m lucky enough to get to Highlands again!

The family had a great time celebrating a winter wedding! Location was spot on in walking distance to shops and restaurants even though we were blessed with cold winter weather.

We were so excited when we got to the house! It’s so cute and even better than the photos. It’s on a quiet street but very close to town. Perfect for pets… with a beautiful park and lake a block away.

First, Darcy was wonderful to deal with, she was very helpful and had plenty of suggestions for our trip. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is excellent! It is a very short walk to downtown and very close to everything else you could need. When we return to Highlands we will certainly be renting this house again if it’s available!

Wonderful location and comfortable house.
We had three generations of family at three places between Cashiers and Dillard so Highlands as a median was great. The house worked really well for my siblings, cousin and aunt, ranging between 84 and 13, seven people. We walked to the botanical gardens which wee great. Perfect spot for us. Darcy was really helpful and accommodating.

Excellent Vacation Rental!
Perfect vacation house for our stay in the Highlands. Very spacious, had a great kitchen, tons of outdoor space, and amazing sun room/den area! The beds were comfy and everything in the house was pristine and well maintained. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond. Again - excellent rental and would highly recommend! Quick walk to town, too!!

Wonderful Experience!
Awesome location that is an easy walk to downtown. Very quiet neighborhood with nice neighbors that we met several times walking their dogs. Very low traffic pet friendly and beautiful area. The house was great and as advertised. The owner Darcy was awesome calling several days before our visit and the day we checked in to make sure we had everything we needed along with restaurant recommendations. It was the perfect base camp for exploring Highlands and the surrounding areas. Highly recommended!

The house is in a perfect location! Just a short, level walk to downtown and many restaurants. The owner did a great job with communication and making sure we were all set. It was a wonderful stay and awesome time with great friends!

Excellent location and great for our family
This was a wonderful home for our family of 6 for a weekend wedding in the Highlands. We were able to walk to town, and had clean comfortable space for all of us. Darcy was fabulous, even responding to an issue when we messaged her late night, above and beyond expectations. We hope to be back in the Highlands soon and would stay here again!

The Perfect Highlands House
Close to town but still very quiet and peaceful! Big rooms and lots of space. The extra driveway was perfect since we had 3 separate vehicles! The fireworks at the lake one block away was a nice touch!
