would have loved a small oven

The decor of the accommodation is so beautiful as well as the gardens. Loved the view, private swimming pool, verandah and fireplace inside. The bathrooms are equipped with underfloor heating which is a great bonus as it was cold and wet outside. Will definitely come back!

I really cannot complain. Everything were great!

the cottage was incredible! I’ve never felt so happy as we walked in and saw all the little touches in the cottage. the private pool was lovely I just wish we had been in summer so we could have enjoyed it more. it’s located in a very central area and you can walk to restaurants from there. the garden around the cottage was beautiful! all very quaint and pretty. will definitely be back.

the restaurant was closed so we were not able to eat at the property in the evening and the reception was not answering calls as we wanted to order ice to the room. it’s not set up well for room service as it is a self catering cottage.

We had the dreamiest two days at the fabulous La Cotte Orchard Cottages. The property is absolutely magnificent, with the most gorgeous views, and excellent proximity to centre of town. Each unit has its own, spacious swimming pool and the sense of privacy and tranquility is unmatched. There is no other place to stay in Franschhoek for us.

Wish we'd booked more days! There was nothing we disliked.

The setting and privacy that you enjoy in the Orchard Cottages are amazing.

The pillows in the room are quite large, and so, one's neck does need some adjustment.

Excellent location in Franchoek and the wine-lands, beautiful decor, pool and gardens. Pool guy checking pools every day. Broken umbrella replaced when reported. Bed very comfortable and beautiful bathroom.

Sitting room not practical:TV not in comfortable area (not centre nor rotatable)uncomfortable chairs with no ottoman. No toaster provided. Detail needs attention: room spray and extra table next to bath, only provided in house no 8, not in no 7. No extra throws provided for stoep and sitting room in either house. Maids service the whole house every day in less than 30 minutes, skipped our two houses one day, had to be called back by management and were very unfriendly as a result.

Best Location with most beautiful views. Peaceful and quiet, love it there!
