Wonderfully spacious 4 bedroom apartment on top floor of a beautiful large rustic home in a small village. Family occupy ground and first floor with shared access. Facilities include 3 double beds and one twin. Master bedroom is ensuite plus main bathroom. Plenty of dining & sofa space for a large group. We mostly dined out but kitchen has good facilities to dine in - large fridge, oven, gas hob, electric kettle, toaster, sandwich toaster - no microwave, with basics such as tea, coffee, salt, pepper, oil, etc supplied. A car is a must. Location is perfect base - 30 minutes from Bologna and within 2 hours drive of major cities such as Venice, Florence, Verona and also the beaches. You should also visit the smaller local towns such as Ferrara. We didn't use, but train station is about 5 minutes drive away. Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets within 5-10 minutes drive. Owner & family were kind and helpful, they don't speak much English, we managed fine with google translate. Very responsive communications via bookings.com before & during our stay.
