Comfortable First Floor Apartment
Brantfield House è una grande casa vittoriana immersa in giardini maturi in una posizione tranquilla con vista sul villaggio di Bowness e sul lago Windermere. L'appartamento si trova al primo piano nella parte anteriore della casa, con camere ben proporzionate che offrono una vista spettacolare sul lago e sulle colline circostanti.
L'appartamento viene continuamente aggiornato e nel gennaio 2018 è stata installata una nuova suite bagno. Tutte le camere sono ben arredate, spaziose, luminose e ariose. L'appartamento può ospitare 4 persone in due camere da letto, la camera da letto principale ha un letto matrimoniale e la seconda camera ha due letti singoli. Tutti i letti sono stati sostituiti a settembre 2015. Ogni camera ha un ampio spazio di archiviazione e la camera doppia ha una TV e PS2
Il bagno ha una doccia, WC e lavandino. La cucina è stata recentemente dotata di un ampio spazio di lavoro e comprende forno, piano cottura, frigorifero / congelatore, forno a microonde, tostapane, lavatrice e lavastoviglie. L'ampio salone / sala da pranzo è stato recentemente ristrutturato ed è arredato in modo confortevole con divani in pelle e tavolo da pranzo posto nella vetrata. C'è una TV con Freeview e lettori DVD / Video e una selezione di dvd, video, libri e giochi. L'appartamento ha accesso wifi gratuito. Questa camera ha una vetrata che offre una vista spettacolare sul lago Windermere e sulle colline circostanti.

We had a great stay in this apartment. You can walk down the hill to shops, pubs, and the lake. Inside is very comfortable with a great view. The host was great communicating via email after my VRBO app glitched out.
Minor quibbles would be that the little hallway is almost comically squeaky, and it would be great to have a couple of fans to circulate the air a bit.
Overall, highly recommended!

Our first thought was, the photos do not do this apartment justice, as it exceeded expectation. The information provided regarding check in and check out was thorough and the apartment was clean, with lovely linen and towels. We did not tire from sitting at the table watching the scenery change and the kitchen was great for cooking. We also loved the location, being above the village away from the hustle and bustle, it was quiet and relaxing. We would definitely return for another stay and highly recommend to anyone wanting a true Windermere experience.

This was my third visit to Brantfield and as usual, the property was spotless with great amenities.The view of Lake Windermere is one of the outstanding features of the property.

Great apartment with absolutely stunning views across Windermere. The apartment was clean and cosy with all the amenities that we needed. It's located in a quiet avenue but only a 10 min walk into the heart of Bowness. I would recommend this apartment and would stay here again.

We had a lovely 4 night stay in Bowness. The apartment was perfect for us, clean, really well equipped and the living room was very cosy. Plus it comes with superb views of the lake and hills. We would definitely recommend.

Brantfield House is located high above Bowness—on Windermere and the views from the living area are spectacular. I received good instructions before arriving and had no problems checking in. The apartment has two good sized bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a good living / dining area. We could not have asked for more. Just be aware that it is a steep walk from the centre of town if you don’t have a car.

Stayed with my mum and dad at Christine's place and was thoroughly impressed. Absolutely amazing view from the living room window. Loved eating meals there. Very tidy and homely. Well-stocked kitchen. Only downside was the hike up the hill! Only later did we realise there was an easier way up. Bowness is a lovely little town, very picturesque and lots of nice cafes and restaurants. Would definitely stay again if I come back!

Great apartment very spacious just like home ,
sad we did not get to meet our hosts .
Being international travellers we booked apartment as we had been cruising for a month & needed to do laundry .
The washer did not work & took 5 hrs to do a load & iron broken , just little things but important .
Could not contact owners they would not answer the door .

Gorgeous flat on a hill over looking the lake with amazing views. The flat is spacious and nice and clean and the owner is very helpful and flexibel. A wonderful place to stay and can only be recommended.

This was a great apartment. The views from the living room were amazing, clean, tidy and spacious. It was a peaceful place, easy walking distance to the centre and other activities.

Fabulous apartment with the most amazing views from the lounge window. Evenings spent watching the sunset over Lake Windermere with a drink and a book.
Big rooms with high ceilings and very comfortable beds.
Good shower with plenty of hot water.
The walk into Bowness is relatively easy so long as you take the walking route suggested by the owners, rather than the steep car route. 5-10 min walk to the restaurants and shops.
Very clean and fluffy towels.

Beautiful flat with great lake view. Very central and easy access to everything in lakes. Inhouse dvd, board game collection is amazing. Definitely staying back next time.

Lovely bright ,clean with all the mod con and more .Excellent communication with the owner The view made up for that really steep climb to the flat..A word of advise try the bit gentlier climb up or down the road via Langrigge .road (believe me you knees will thank you lol )

Perfect short break in Bowness. Even when it rained we had the apartment to go to and relax. Feels like a second home with plenty dvds and streaming services to use. Thanks again for a great stay. Highly recommend.

We - a family of three - enjoyed our stay very much: perfect weather in a wonderful landscape with many opportunities to spend your time. One of our absolute highlights: the fantastic sunsets seen from our "room with a view". We felt very comfortable at the flat. It is equipped with everything we needed & some unawaited extras (we loved the video collection). Communication had been very friendly & easy.

Am immaculately presented apartment with gorgeous views of Windermere
We really enjoyed our stay and could not fault the quality of the apartment. It's in a very peaceful location within walking distance of the Dales Trail. Please note that the road down to the town of Bowness is very steep and narrow but definitely walkable if you are reasonably fit.

The location overlooking the lake is perfect and there are many places to eat and relax and some gorgeous walks. All in all - we love this apartment and will almost certainly be back at some point in the future.

It's an excellent flat with great views of Lake Windermere, in a quiet location but close to Bowness centre. The flat is very comfortable, clean, had everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay very much.
