Large house in a quiet neighborhood. very easy to check in, very accommodating with coming and going, very helpful staff. beautiful yard and gardens. Recommend this stay

Villa is nice neat n clean but so much of restrictions . And everything is chargeable u can't leave glass u have to wash otherwise they will charge you for cleaning which is 600 . Staff is not coopearative .

Prices could be on the lower side

The host Vinita, was a bit rude when we arrived at the location. She was always after the money. Time and again the staff was irking us and following up like hell. The host and the staff needs improvement in their behaviour. The host Vinita did not even facilitate the partial payments as she is quoting. She/The Staff wanted immediately the entire money even before visiting the house. I asked her that there was lack of services like no AC/damaged geysers which was mentioned on booking.com on which she said you can check out the property immediately. This was completely unacceptable. Moreover, every other hotel we stayed accepted the amount in two tranche unlike Himalayan Villa. Also, the staff was reluctant to open rooms when we insisted that we are three people. They were trying to accommodate us in two rooms only initially. On and all it was okay experience staying in house but could have been really better if the host/staff co-operated with us well. Eventually its the customer service that makes comfortable which is not there in the host Vinita at all.

Honestly, one of the best stays of our entire trip was at Himalayan Villa. They have very friendly staff members who helped us with necessities. The stay is also budget-friendly and includes all amenities. Its location is quite and peaceful. Would definitely visit again and recommend others too.

The staff was so cooperative and helpful specially Balbir uncle and Raju uncle. The view was prefect from the villa. The villa is little far from the city it was difficult to find cabs but overall the experience was good.The provide all the facilities which we didn't expect. Thank you so much to the owner and the staff.

The location on booking.com app is not that accurate. So before coming please call Balbir uncle. He will guide you.

Overall a wonderful stay.. Balbir and Raju are of great help and always willing to work towards making the guests happy and comfortable. They decorated the place to help us celebrate my parents 40th anniversary & cooked a special dish at our request. The property is also located in a quiet surrounding with a beautiful view. Child friendly and senior citizen friendly. The only thing that could be better are the washrooms and the barbecue facility. There are only 2 wash rooms across four rooms.. Barbecue is chargeable at Rs 500 with just 2 kg coal, which I feel is inadequate. Otherwise everything else is perfect, including price.

Can’t explain in words..even for a minute I did not feel that it was not my home. We were 5 people stayed for 3 nights and 4 days, we did cook our own meals as the kitchen is fully equipped. Enjoyed the night sky from the terrace. For sunrise and sunset, you don’t have to travel anywhere else, just go to the terrace and have your tea with amazing view. If you are looking for some real peace then I strongly recommend this place. I will surely visit again👍

There is nothing I did not like about the property but the way to the villa from the main road is bit tricky but you can always search for Oakwood Residency Dehradun.
